Chleo and Evie were already planning to celebrate Diego's birthday together. That's why Evie went straight to Daphnia Fashion to meet Chleo and, at the same time, to meet Dietrich, of course.

The three would come to Chleo's house to celebrate the birthday boy even though Diego would complain endlessly after this.

Since she had arrived too soon, Evie decided to wait for the two in the office cafeteria. And yet she noticed something, or rather someone unexpected, at the cafe.

Why this guy named Maximillian had to be in this building as well? As far as she knows, Max doesn't work in his girlfriend's company.

"Evie, you came too soon. I just finished at 5 o'clock."

"I know I'll be waiting for you in the cafeteria. I got special access from Dex anyway."

"Okay. Wait a minute, please."

"Chleo, did you know that Dex's friend is here?"

"Which one?"

"Maximilian. The man who was like Snow White. Did you forget?"

"Hahahaha... I remember." how could Chleo have forgotten, especially now that the young man has become her lover. "It seemed he comes early, too."

"Ha? Too? You invited him?"

"Ehem… I'll go back to work then. See you later." was her short answer without enlightening Evie's confusion.

"Eh, but Chleo…" the call had been cut off, causing Evie to pout for not getting an answer.

Since she wasn't very close to the man, Evie decided to take a seat a little further away from Max. She wondered why Chleo had invited Maximillian, who had nothing to do with them?

They have just met once, but Chleo already invited Max to Diego's day? It's not like Diego knows Dietrich's friend, right.

Moreover, since when did Chleo become friends with Max?

On the other hand, Maximillian felt someone was watching him, but he acted as if he noticed nothing. After all, Chleo still hadn't told Evie the truth, so Max wouldn't be someone who reveals their relationship to the girl's cousin.

He decided to go find out this odd feeling. He entered an emergency staircase, and when the door closed again, Max had moved elsewhere following the strange atmosphere he had felt a moment ago.

Max didn't know where he was now, but he certainly wasn't in Seattle even though he was sure he was still in this country.

However, the scenery around him was bizarre. No humans were seen at all, nor were there any birds or other animals. Surprisingly, the sky had also darkened as if it was already midnight which was highly unlikely.

He felt as if… the world had stopped spinning… literally.

Did Fye use her powers? It was impossible considering that Fye's power had been sealed by turning back time by twenty years. Even if the girl could still use her powers, it must be something as trivial as fixing a broken machine or seeing what had happened in the past.

Max snapped his fingers once to return to his company as nothing needed his attention, but strangely… he couldn't go back. This made Max confused, and he stared at his hands in wonder.

For some reason, he felt… someone was restraining his energy?

Max walked around for anyone he could meet, only to find out there was no one.

No human, no animals, and no… nothing that could confirm that this place was the earth,

What is this place? Why can't he use his powers?

"Aaaaaah!! Go away!!"

Maximillian's body immediately spun towards the sound, and his brows furrowed in wonder. Wasn't the voice he heard just now... Fye's voice?

Max dashed toward the source without waiting any longer and was very surprised at what he saw once he found his fellow ruler.

A few minutes ago, Fye was constantly looking for the whereabouts of the yellow king. Max had many questions, and so did she, yet it was challenging to find that sneaky hiding expert ruler.

She remembered the yellow king telling her he planned to pass on his main energy to an American child. Thus, Fye thought the new yellow king was living in America.

But until this moment, she couldn't find a single clue about the gale master's whereabouts.

The last time she met the yellow king was about eight years ago. If she calculated from the previous meeting, then it was most likely that the current physical body of the yellow king was around thirteen years old or under.

It's been almost two months since she's been looking for teenagers around the age of 13 and under. However, none of them match the gale master's description.

Ah, she'd better rest first and relaxed before continuing her searching quest. That was what Fye decided when she hit a dead end.

Fye looked around the small market consisting of tent stalls selling various goods. As soon as she entered the border of the booth, the sky suddenly turned dark mysteriously. The people who had been passing by were now nowhere to be seen.

She felt like she was in another dimension where there were no human inhabitants nor other creatures.

Fye gulped very nervously. This wasn't the first time this has happened to her. She had been in this place when one of the 'ruler punishers' came to see her.

At that time, she reversed the time of life around her, and when she arrived at the period she wanted, Fye accidentally hit a small child and push the child on the highway without knowing a bus sped at the child at rapid speed. The child died, and alas, Fye couldn't use her power again to reverse the time.

Fye would not have to worry about 'that creature' if the child was just an ordinary child. She didn't expect the child to be one of the 'blessed' children.

It was a common rule for all realm lords born into this world. They may kill evil people as long as it's not too much. But they must not injure nor hurt the 'blessed' human, no matter if it was intentional or not.

The rulers of nature would never know who these 'blessed' humans were, which was why they should not carelessly injure humans. Fye, unfortunately did the unforgivable sin.

She didn't do it on purpose, and she didn't expect the dead child to be a 'blessed' child.

Fye tried to run away from the hunt of the 'creature' who wanted to punish her, but she couldn't use her power and was finally caught. She would have died from being electrocuted by that 'creature' if nature had not been merciful to her aid in time.

Nature directly fled her to America, where she hid for weeks before Aslan gave her a mission to help the blue king.

Now, after she has reversed the time, the child she accidentally killed was still alive. No. The child wasn't even born yet. The 'creature' should no longer pursue her, but why... why is the 'creature' still hunting her? Is this why Fye felt scared when she was about to come here? Because that 'creature' exists in America?

Fye walked back slowly when she heard footsteps in front of her. There was a gray mist in the background of the figure walking towards her. And it was just as she had feared. The figure had a pair of red and blue eyes. There was no mistaking it… that figure was Vectis that punishes all rulers in this world.

"I smell your fear. You are guilty." was the creature's statement, making Fye tremble even more.

"W… Why? The child is still alive. I've reversed the time."

"A guilty must be eliminated" the creature's hand emits electricity that runs and then focuses on the palm of its hand.

Fye was too scared that she felt her brain not functioning properly. She shouldn't tremble in fear as the child was not born yet, but she couldn't think straight.

If only she didn't feel scared, Vectis wouldn't approach her as all Vectis would only punish anyone who trembles in fear due to their overwhelming guilt.

The mystical creature emerged behind the gray mist, and Fye could see its appearance more clearly. A very feminine and beautiful face with a very contrasting red and blue eye color. Its hair was very long, from the top to a purple tint to the bottom golden yellow. The tips of its ears were pointed, indicating it was not human at the same time it was not an animal due to its human-like form.

Fye was getting more and more fearful as the creature continued to walk towards her. She didn't even realize there was an obstacle behind her feet, making her fall backward.

Its hand filled with electricity rose to touch her, and the memory of being electrified frightened her.

"Aaaaaaah!! Go away!!"
