Ice Prince: Rewrite The Star

A handsome young man and a beautiful woman were hugging affectionately in front of the chairman's desk. The two of them almost had their first kiss yesterday before being interrupted by the auto-drive program of the young man's car.

The blue king, who had had feelings for the girl for a dozen years, decided he would not hold back anymore. Of course, as a man, he had a desire to be with the girl he loved and did things together like any other couple did, such as walking hand in hand, dating, or having romantic dining.

Click! The door opened, and a teenage girl walked in regardless of her manners. The girl's demeanor was even more daring, as if this room belonged to her.

"Tada! Guess who's here now? From today on, I…" the girl gasped when she saw a man and a woman doing something she shouldn't have seen.

The much younger girl immediately covered her eyes with both hands. "My eyes! Oh, no! My innocent eyes! Why am I so unlucky today?" the girl nagged at length with an exaggerated tone.

This is what she was worried about. Someone entered without knocking or notifying and caught them red-handed! Worse yet, that person was a teenager who wasn't even sixteen years old yet! Max was astonished to see the teenage girl, while Chleo was highly embarrassed and hid her face in her lover's embrace.

Chleo felt Max's chest vibrate, indicating that Max was chuckling.

"You said no one would dare to come in here," Chleo whispered, still hiding her face.

"This little one doesn't count." Max wrapped his arms around her to hug her even tighter as he rested his chin on the top of Chleo's head.

On the other hand, Chleo felt like she was covered in snow, and it felt incredibly good. So she didn't mind nor resist.

"Sherina, when did you come here?"

"Just now. I came straight here from the airport."

"Why didn't you tell your brother or me? We can pick you up."

"Then my arrival won't be a surprise. Can I open my eyes now?"

"No. You'd better turn around and walk outside."

"Where's Dietrich? What are you doing here? Didn't you say you wanted to take a vacation? Most of all, shouldn't Dietrich be here? Where is he now? Why isn't there anyone outside? Someone should have stopped me before I came in here. Master, don't blame me barging in here, okay? It's not my fault."

Now Maximillian understood why Sherina was able to barge in here. Apparently, Dietrich and his secretary had left this floor.

"Didn't you bring your phone? Why don't you call him?" Max patiently attended to the teenager.

"Oh, that's right. I'll take my leave now."

Max just shook his head at the teenager's behavior. Then he was about to speak to Chleo but was preceded by Sherina.

"Master, can I meet her?" Sherina wanted to get acquainted with Chleo, the famous true love for her master.

"I'll introduce her to you later. Now turn around, then go out and don't forget to close the door again. Hmm?"

There was a witty laugh from the teenager, and then she turned around, opening her eyes slightly to see the way out.

Sherina was out of the office, and all she had to do was shut the door again. Before she closed it, she poked his head through the almost closed door.

"Master,"

"What else?"

"She's gorgeous."

Bam! It was only then that the door to the room closed perfectly.

Is Sherina asking for a treat from him? That's why that girl complimented his girl's beauty? Now he was starting to wonder, had he spoiled the girl too much? Day by day, the girl was less cautious of him as if she was sure that Max would never be mad at her.

Well, Sherina was his adopted daughter and sister in his past life, and he loved her dearly. Thus, he would never be angry at the girl, not while the girl did nothing wrong and always acted sweetly.

In this life, he let Rothbert adopt Sherina so that now the kid bears the name Hammilton instead of Cavendish. Even so, he still cherished the child and provided for her every need.

Max felt the tiny body in his arms start to squirm and peeked at the door.

"Who is that?"

"Dietrich's sister."

"But, why did she call you master?"

"Because her whole family also calls me like that."

Her whole family? Chleo was getting more and more confused. "Dietrich too?"

"Yes. But I told him to call my name while we were here. When Sherina said I was on vacation here, she didn't lie. I have no plans to run this company and leave everything to Dietrich."

"Then why have you decided to go back to work now?"

Max smiled, then brushed his nose against the girl's gently, inviting a red hue on her cheeks.

"Of course, to please you. So I guess you liked my present? Please note, my real gift is not the flower."

"Not the flowers? Then what is the flower for?"

"The flower is an expression of my feelings that want to give something beautiful and best in the whole world to the person who has stolen my heart."

Chleo cleared her throat a few times to hide her embarrassment.

"Are you practicing your sweet words? You're getting better and better every day."

Max chuckled at the girl's sulking tone. "But I said what was in my heart."

"..." Chleo was speechless and didn't know what else to say. Once again, Chleo hid her head in the man's arms, which Max happily accepted.

Chleo silently tried to guess what gift the man was referring to, and then she remembered her works which would be one of the leading products to be sold at the gala show.

Could it be...

"Max, are you the one who submitted my drawing for next month's gala show?"

"Hmm. You said you wanted to realize your work and be liked by the whole world. I did it for you."

Chleo held her mouth as she couldn't believe it. Even though she still needed the help of connection in the end, somehow, Chleo didn't become disappointed. After all, she knew all Max did was paving the way for her. Whether her work would be recognized in the world was the result of her own efforts.

It was already proven by many fascinated by her designs and couldn't wait for the actual product.

Chleo couldn't help but feel happy and proud to have such a fantastic lover like Maximillian. She snuggled her head again, and the two hugged each other while gazing at the evening view of Seattle.

"You did a lot of things for me, Max. I don't know how to repay it?"

"Just stay by my side. It's enough for me."

Chleo lifted her head and placed her chin on his chest. "I'm not going anywhere." her answer was satisfying him, and both of them smiled at each other.

After feeling like they'd been hugging for too long, Chleo reluctantly let go. Ah, she still wanted to feel that man's nice cold frame, but she had to go back downstairs to avoid suspicion.

"I guess I'd better go back."

"Are you sure? You don't want to be with me any longer."

"Why are you looking so disappointed?"

"I am."

Chleo narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "Is that why you still hugging me like this?" Chleo realized that her lover still hadn't let his arms that traps her petite figure.

"Oh, you got me." Chleo was at a loss for words hearing this. "Ten more minutes. After that, I will let you go." he continued to tighten his arms again and leaned his cheek on the top of the girl's head while inhaling the fragrance of her hair.

Ten minutes later…

"Ten minutes is up," announced Chleo.

"No. It's still one minute."

"..." if ten minutes is one minute to Maximillian, doesn't that mean they have to hug for a hundred minutes?

All right, Chleo gave up. She could never win against this man. Moreover, she also felt happy to be hugged like this. She felt she was in a beautiful place that lulled her soul.

And no place could replace the feelings she had like this moment. Her world became perfect whenever she was in that man's arms. She felt complete, not knowing Max also felt the same way about her.

Max felt that his almost a century of waiting was worth it when he met Chleo.

This girl was his true love. This girl was the center of his life, and he would do anything to make this girl happy and aging together.
