Chleo and Ashley hugged each other without daring to open their eyes. They waited for what would happen to them.

Surprisingly, after waiting for a few minutes, nothing happened. Silence, quiet, absolutely no sound. All they could hear was their own heartbeats due to their overwhelming fear.

In the last few weeks, they have often experienced disastrous events that made their adrenaline rush. They have even almost been killed several times, but miraculously, they were still alive until this second.

Thinking of this, the two girls ventured to open their eyes to see the figure that had come and crushed the boulder they were hiding in.

Chleo and Ashley were taken aback when they saw a Vectis looking at them questioningly while tilting its heads.

This Vectis wasn't as tall as Yuna's Vectis, and also… judging by its feminine face, this Vectis looks like a girl?

Her fair face and smooth skin like silk cloth have the same red-blue eyes but were not as sharp as the Vectis they've known. Her hair was also long and purple, accompanied by a golden yellowish color at the ends.

This female Vectis' height and face shape were much different from Yuna's Vectis's. And she had two horns on either side of her head while the kind-hearted Vectis only had one.

Is there any meaning in the number of horns? Or is it to show the genders?

Ashley glared at Chleo in disbelief as Chleo greeted the unfamiliar Vectis in front of them.

"Can you understand our language?"

The female Vectis frowned upon hearing her voice and raised a hand before pointing it at them. In an instant, a wave of wind tied their bodies like a rope and lifted them into the air.

"Aaaah!"

"Chleo, why are you making her angry?"

"I'm just greeting her!" Chleo argued, annoyed that Ashley still had time to blame her in this situation.

Both girls couldn't help but remember Yuna's Vectis's warning that human existence was unacceptable in this world. Once they notice a human intruder has entered their world, they would immediately kill the human.

Does that mean this female Vectis was going to kill them right there?

Thinking of this possibility, Ashley shuddered and immediately tried to get the Vectis to speak.

"Hey, you misunderstood. We came to this place by accident. One of you brought us here, and he is our friend. If you don't believe me, you can wait for the owner of this cave to return." Ashley didn't care if the Vectis understood what she was saying and continued talking. "We need time to get back home, and the residents of this place's owner were very kind to help us. Please spare us, for we have no intention of infiltrating your world."

In the next second, their floating bodies were now moving to follow the movement of Vectis's hand. The female Vectis turned around and walked out leisurely, with the two human bodies thrashing about in the wind wave.

They were doomed if they came out of this cave and were seen by the evil Vectis.

Where is Yuna's Vectis now? What is he doing?!

The creature in mention was in a cage exactly as Ashley had suspected.

Yuna's Vectis has traced Vectis, who plans to rebel against the king and followed one of the rebel members. Unfortunately, the average rebel member had two horns, which means their strength and position were beyond him, which only had one horn.

He was caught red-handed to try to fish out something from them. He tried to escape, but his teleport didn't function as someone labeled him a criminal. In the end, he was taken to the dungeon.

His captors did not torture him. Instead, he was given a standard meal, and he was generous with him. The only thing that made him uncomfortable was that he was confined in a cage made of wood.

The wood was not an ordinary one, but imana retaining wood.

Imana was the force drive that Vectis used to activate their powers. If a Vectis ran out of imana, he couldn't use his powers.

Imana could refill and be full if the Vectis sleeps or does not activate his power for several hours.

But by being inside this wood, the imana in the air would not be able to enter and fill the container of the imana vessel within Yuna's Vectis's body. As a result, Yuna's Vectis would not be able to escape from this cage if no one had helped him from the outside.

He could stay still because he believed Chleo and Ashley were still safe in his place. He just needed to bide his time for the rulers of nature to break into this world.

He believed the blue king would not stay silent and proposed cooperating with other rulers to break through the portal door and come to this world.

Unknown to him, the whereabouts of Chleo and Ashley had been discovered before the rulers broke through the portal door. And now, both of them were faced with a group of Vectis who looked at them with malicious eyes.

Chleo could see the countless numbers surrounding them. Their faces and postures were all different, but their red-blue eyes and hair color were all the same.

This was the first time Chleo and Ashley had seen so many Vectis in their life.

Their horns were also almost the same. Some had one on their foreheads, and some had two on either side of their heads.

At first, Chleo thought the male gender would have one horn while the female would have two. But she was wrong because she saw the face of the male Vectis also had two horns while the female Vectis face had only one horn.

What does the number of horns mean?

Chleo, this is not the time to think about the meaning of the number of their horns. But the safety of your life is more important.. Chleo reprimanded herself.
