Along with Diego and Chleo, Max arrived at the venue precisely fifteen minutes before the show started. The three of them directly joined the crowd of people who also wanted to see the fountain show.

The place throughout was very packed with people. There were also some tourists who come specifically to see this event which was only held at the beginning of winter.

At the beginning of each season, this fountain area would present a dancing fountain with music-themed according to the season. The event only lasted for ten days, and coincidentally today was the first day, so the number of spectators who came was many times more than usual.

Chleo loved festive and hived activities like this and was excited to see the show. However, she remembered that Max told her that he didn't like crowds. It made her worried, and she glanced at the man who seemed interested in something circulating them.

But Chleo didn't notice the intrigued look on his face. Instead, she thought that Max glanced around to find a quieter spot.

Why would that guy bring them here if he doesn't like crowded places?

"Max, are you okay?"

Max shifted his eyes to see Chleo with a questioning look. "Hmm? I'm fine. Why?"

"Didn't you say you don't like crowds? What if you turn pale again from being too crowded."

Max smiled at Chleo's typical worried tone. This girl looked even more appealing as her eyes flashed a look of concern.

"I don't like crowds, but that doesn't mean I'll get sick of standing in a crowd like this." she looked so cute though in believing he would get sick, just get surrounding by the crowd. Noted Max.

"Are you sure?"

"Hmm. I'm sure. Besides…" Max lowered his head a bit, so his gaze was level with Chleo's. Their height difference was far enough that Chleo had to keep her head up every time she spoke to him at close range.

"Besides?" A blush appeared on her cheeks when she realized that Max's face was so close to hers.

"I want to see you laugh. If you could laugh just to see the show here, I'm more than be willing to stand here."

Chleo felt her heart would explode at any moment when she was with this man. Who would have thought that Maximillian, whom she thought was a quiet person, was very good at talking sweet?

"Hey, let's get closer. The show already starts." Diego exclaimed, who completely ignored the spark of romance between the two and immediately grabbed his sister's hand to get closer to the event.

As soon as Chleo got a little closer to the front, the sound of winter-themed classical music began to sound. The sparkling laser of beautiful lights started to dance beautifully, followed by a jet of water from a hemispherical dome.

Everyone was stunned to see the beauty of the dancing fountain. After a while, some shocking screams around the audience were heard. It turned out they had been splashed by water from the street, which was completely unexpected. The next second, the area where Chleo stood, also experienced the same thing that made some of the audience wet.

The cheerful mood and blaring laughter spread quickly, and instantly Chleo cupped her hands to catch the water and threw it at Diego. Diego laughed, then did the same but threw it at Max.

They splashed and chased each other through the crowd who were doing the same thing to their friends or family.

It was now December, indicating that winter has arrived and the weather around was freezing. Even so, everyone who came seemed so excited to play in the water, completely ignoring the cold temperature that could freeze their bodies.

After being satisfied playing, the three headed to the towel seller's stall. Only at this dancing fountain event were there towel stalls selling along the road. It was no longer a secret that many visitors would get wet from watching the dancing fountain.

Thus, some of them already brought second clothes or towels from their home. Some even wore a raincoat!

Max gave one towel to Diego then another to Chleo. Before he dried his own hair, he helped dry Chleo's hair gently, making the girl's heart beat wildly again.

Diego was still engrossed in wiping his hair in a fast motion because he was already freezing and wanted to go home soon. But instead, he saw his sister's endless intimacy with the blue-eyed guy.

Now he feels he has officially become limelight for the lovebirds.

'I won't tag along next time.' Diego would remind himself.
