Chapter 27 Deadpool: Am I the only man here?

"That's... Red Skull's old car?" Rune asked, looking at the old-fashioned sports car at the front. It was clearly Red Skull's model, but it had a flamboyant flame paint job, and even the car logo wasn't Hydra, but Iron Man.

"Hey!" Deadpool glared at Rune and shouted, "That's a two-door supercar based on the old Mercedes 540K, equipped with a 16-cylinder engine! It should be every man's dream, but because of you, it's not anymore!"

As he spoke, Deadpool looked at Wolverine, who had just been in a fierce fight, seeking his support.

"Don't ask me!" Wolverine rolled his eyes in annoyance. "I prefer motorcycles."

Deadpool slapped his forehead and roared in an extremely pained voice, "Am I the only man here?"

Rune felt like he had rolled his eyes for a full ten years while following Deadpool.

Following behind this car was a small white car that looked like a green mood. Upon seeing this car, Deadpool actually burst into tears: "No~ The Magic Vehicle! What did those creatures do to you! Why have you even lost your levitation ability?!"

Rune noticed that the expression on the newly appeared man's face suddenly became very unnatural.

However, the last car was really low-class; it was just a red and yellow ice cream truck. Deadpool had finished his act and stood up with a sigh.

"Really? Are you kidding me?" He pointed at the last vehicle and yelled, "The grand finale is an ice cream truck?"

"Shut up!" Fireman, the Brotherhood member sitting in the Hydra sports car, yelled, then surrounded the four men with his convoy. "Are you coming with me to see Cassandra, or should I cripple you before I go see Cassandra?"

The man got off the ice cream truck. He was wearing a tattered robe, tall and strong with well-defined muscles. He exuded wildness and power, and his overall image was like a ferocious beast, making people feel intimidated.

"Sabertooth..." Wolverine muttered the name of the newcomer, glaring fiercely at his brother.

"Do you need my help?" Rune asked as he walked up to Wolverine, who shook his head.

"This is a personal grudge." With that, he charged at the saber-toothed tiger, who roared and charged at Wolverine. But the battle was decided in an instant.

Before Wolverine's decline, he had fought countless people—villains, heroes, and ordinary citizens—but they all shared one thing in common: they had participated in the massacre of mutants. Therefore, despite being called the most useless Wolverine, his fighting skills completely overwhelmed Sabretooth.

Sabretooth's superpowers are similar to Wolverine's, both possessing strong healing abilities and immortality. However, neither of the brothers' healing abilities can regenerate severed limbs, so Wolverine chose to cut off Sabretooth's head in a single encounter.

Meanwhile, the handsome man stepped forward, and Deadpool exclaimed in delight, "He's going to say it! He's going to say it! The Avengers..."

"ignition!"

Deadpool tilted his head and looked at the man, asking in confusion, "Huh?"

The next moment, flames erupted from the man's body, burning away the tattered cape that partially obscured his blue uniform, revealing a number 4. Deadpool then realized that he wasn't the seemingly invincible Captain America, but rather the frivolous Human Torch from the Fantastic Four. Perhaps due to his experiences in the Void, the Human Torch's demeanor had become much more composed, even causing Deadpool to mistake him.

The recoil from the explosion propelled the Human Torch into the sky, where he unleashed flames at the convoy surrounding them. However, the Fireman sitting in the Hydra sports car smiled contemptuously. The next moment, the flames on the Human Torch's body were completely absorbed by the Fireman, causing him to lose his ability to fly. He then fell onto the railing with his legs spread apart.

"Oh……"

Everyone present felt a phantom pain in their lower body. Rune waved his left hand lightly, and the Thunderfire slowly landed beside him.

"Uh, thank you?" Thunderbolt looked at the child, who was probably only twelve years old, and said uncertainly.

"Activate the magnet!" Pyro shouted as he saw Wolverine charging towards him. On the other side, a guy wearing goggles waved impatiently and then pressed a button.

But just as the folded magnet was about to unfold and release its magnetic force, Rune turned it into a giraffe.

"F**k!" Pyro jumped off the car and rolled awkwardly on the ground, barely dodging Wolverine's first attack. Meanwhile, Toadman's tongue was grabbed by Deadpool's left hand, while Deadpool held a small hand blade in his right. To make matters worse, Deadpool's right hand was gesturing up and down, seemingly considering where to cut off his tongue.

"No, no, no!" Seeing no hope of victory, Fireman hurriedly surrendered. He thought that his strongest fighter had been killed by Wolverine right away, and that he had managed to limit the enemy's mage. However, another mage directly controlled his team's counter weapon, and the remaining two squishy characters were being attacked by assassins. How could he possibly win?

Relaxing on the Fireman, Wolverine tossed aside the lighter he'd taken from the Fireman and patiently rubbed his claws together, the two striking each other with a crisp metallic sound.

"Give me a reason to let you go, child."

"I am Paradox's spy in the Void, and I know how to get you out!" Fireman immediately betrayed his superior. He looked at the six claws in horror. Although he was called Fireman, he could not transform into a human like Thunderbolt, and he could not even release flames on his own without a lighter.

Yes, the Fire Man's ability is only to control flames; he doesn't have the skill to start a fire.

Upon hearing Pyro's confession, Deadpool couldn't sit still any longer. Under Toad's pained gaze, he tied his tongue into a knot and ran to Wolverine's side.

Wolverine glared at Deadpool, then Pyro shakily pulled out a cell phone and called Paradox.

"Are Deadpool and Wolverine dead yet?" The paradoxical, slightly distorted voice came from the other end of the phone: "You know, that machine is almost finished, and I can't allow any accidents to happen."

"Um..." Feeling the intense stares from everyone around him, Fireman felt immense pressure. He asked in a pleading tone, "Could I go to your place for a bit? I..."

He swallowed hard, his eyes darting around before he came up with a suitable excuse: "I want something that can prevent mind reading, otherwise if Cassandra goes crazy and reads my memories, we're all doomed!"

"No need to come back, I've already sent it to you," Paradox said. "I'll send you a message in a bit, just go to the coordinates mentioned in the message to retrieve it."

After saying that, Paradox hung up the phone, and Fireman forced a smile that looked more like a grimace: "Um, I said I have another idea, do you believe me?"
