Unaware that he had been saved by Rune, Good Deadpool stepped into the portal, holding an extremely ugly puppy in his arms.

"If you need anything, please feel free to come to me." His handsome face was streaked with tears of emotion.

Rune smiled and nodded, but that wasn't really what he thought. Good Deadpool's ability to retain his handsome face came at a price; he didn't possess the absurd regenerative abilities of other Deadpools. If he truly needed help on his own, this Good Deadpool might not even be able to withstand the aftershocks of a battle.

The camera zooms out, revealing that everything that had just happened was displayed on a dilapidated television set, which had now been turned off by someone.

"So far, all 3,400+ experiments have failed." A black silhouette appeared. The room wasn't lacking in light, yet it couldn't reveal its full form, only moving as a rough outline. "I don't understand. Maybe this time they pulled the wrong person, but what about before? Why were you all so soft-hearted?"

"Enough, let me speak." Another black silhouette slammed its hand on the table. "I know you're heroes, and we all agree that you should execute your plan first. After all, you've defeated us many times before, but this time is different. If you continue to be so soft-hearted, we will all disappear completely!"

"I think there must be other solutions..." A thin, dark-skinned figure tried to continue. His skin was a lighter shade of black, and one could barely make out that he was wearing a suit of armor with a spiderweb pattern.

"Of course you can say that!" the black silhouette opposite him interrupted. "You've already been linked with someone, and you might be linked with someone again in the future, but what about the others?"

He looked around; the room was enormous, filled with numerous black silhouettes. Their black clothing varied in shade, but they were clearly divided into two groups.

"We can't continue accepting your proposals. You're kind-hearted; you can wait to die, or wait for some high and mighty guy to drag you out for a spin, but we can't." He was emotional: "Look at us, forgotten by most, abandoned by most. They won't remember us, never! We need a more radical plan!"

"Let's vote by raising hands," said the shadowy figure on the other side. He rubbed his forehead, but as soon as he spoke, everyone present fell silent. It was he and several others who had brought all the black silhouettes into the world before them, and he himself was one of the most powerful among them.

"Raise your hand if you agree to continue with the previous plan..."

The noise and curses resumed.

Before Cassandra's throne.

Rune was inspecting his spoils, including a carbon fiber bow, the shattered Meow Hammer, the levitation cloak, and finally, a massive revolver. Its barrel was exceptionally long; considering its caliber, calling it a pistol would be an understatement.

Only the last two have systematic descriptions.

[Lens Cloak: This cloak is virtually indestructible, allowing the wearer to fly at extremely high speeds and move at will in battle. The user can also use magic to alter its appearance.]

[The Samaritan: Forged from molten church bells, it deals special damage bonuses to evil creatures.]

Upon seeing the latter's name, Rune instantly shattered. If Cassandra were still here, he would want to torture her again. The Samaritan is Hellboy's weapon, but it's arguably the most worthless thing on this uniquely charismatic demon boy. Hellboy's right hand is known as the Right Hand of Destruction, capable of releasing and controlling the evil dragon god Ogdru Jahad; while his other hand is known as the Left Hand of Creation, equally powerful. His lineage is also formidable; his mother is a descendant of King Arthur, wielding the famous Sword of Kings; his father is one of the dukes of Hell, known as the Witch King.

Rune rarely complained, but at this moment he was indeed feeling a bit uncomfortable, like watching someone kill a goose that lays golden eggs every day just to eat its meat.

Just as Rune was seething with resentment, the Deadpool who had brought him back ran back. He patted the badge on his chest and puffed out his chest smugly. Rune glanced helplessly at the badge on his chest, which featured a simple sketch of Deadpool.

"What is this?"

"This is the ultimate Deadpool icon in the entire universe!" he said proudly. "You have to admit the Time Bureau had the foresight to appoint me as the leader of all Deadpools."

"Hmm." Rune used his cloak to gather the spoils together, but unexpectedly, the cloak obediently turned into a backpack. Secretly pleased, Rune casually responded to Deadpool's words with "hmm" and "uh-huh," and was then dragged to Deadpool's house.

Rune looked at Deadpool, who had led him to a small house, with a puzzled expression. Deadpool patted him on the shoulder.

"My higher-dimensional friends all say you're a great cook, so tonight's celebration dinner is all yours!" he added cheekily. "You just agreed, so don't regret it!"

What the heck? But seeing the expectant looks on everyone's faces, Rune still cast his spell and began preparing for the victory celebration. As revenge, Rune chose to have Deadpool run the errand. Actually, this made perfect sense, since everyone present included Wolverine, Bullet, Yukio, Colossus, and a group of ordinary people. Apart from Deadpool, no one had teleportation abilities, making him the most convenient choice for running errands.

Americans enjoy excessive stimulation and are also eager to try new foods. They like super sweet and creamy foods, and some even particularly like spicy food. Lu En naturally catered to their tastes and prepared a large table of dishes, including sweet and sour pork, Dongpo pork, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, sauerkraut fish, squirrel-shaped mandarin fish, and more.

As a Chinese person, especially one who wants to save money but still eat well, cooking for oneself is essential. And frankly, magic is just too convenient. For dishes like squirrel-shaped mandarin fish, the most difficult part is actually how to cut it into decorative shapes, but with Rune, one only needs to infuse their will into the knife, and the knife will cut it by itself.

The meal was very enjoyable. After most people left, Rune finally emerged from Deadpool's small house. He took out his slingshot and attempted to cast a spell to return to the DC universe.

"Hey, wait a minute!" Deadpool stepped out. "The slingshot can't send you back to that dark universe!"

He pressed his belt, and a portal opened. Before Rune left, Deadpool gave him a small box. The box had a bow tied on top and a large Deadpool logo.

"Kid, wait a minute." Logan, who had just been passed out drunk on the table, rushed over. He pulled out a palm-sized, silvery-white metal object. "Although this thing doesn't make a very good impression on me, I think it might be useful to you."

The stingy system notification appeared again.

"Thank you." Rune smiled and hugged Logan, then returned to the familiar ranch amidst Deadpool's shouts of "Make sure you get home before you tear this down!"
