Is it disrespectful to the elderly to get angry at them? (Chapter 100)

Dumbledore had hoped to shoulder the responsibility of fighting Voldemort alone. In the original story, his death was inevitable due to the curse of the Resurrection Stone, so he sent Snape to infiltrate the Death Eaters as a spy. Many others also sacrificed themselves to defeat Voldemort, but even so, Harry's victory over Voldemort was still full of coincidences.

However, the situation is very different now. Dumbledore was not cursed by the Resurrection Stone, and a more powerful organization than Voldemort's Death Eaters has emerged in the wizarding world. The leader of this organization is powerful enough to easily crush that noseless dark wizard.

Aside from Horcruxes, Voldemort had no advantage against Rune.

The situation had initially turned out much better, but even so, Dumbledore still volunteered to deal with Voldemort himself, because he felt Rune was too bloodthirsty. This didn't mean Rune wasn't a good person. On the contrary, Rune hated evil, wasn't greedy for money, and wasn't keen on seizing power. However, Dumbledore believed that killing couldn't solve all problems.

Rune neither confirmed nor denied this; instead, he first observed the classes at Hogwarts for each year. He observed the professors and students, whether they were fearful or...

Amidst admiring glances, he accompanied the wizards through a day of classes, then headed straight for Dumbledore's office.

"I don't understand." Rune was filled with anger, and his tone was very aggressive.

"What's wrong?" Dumbledore asked, puzzled. He sensed Rune's emotions but didn't know the reason for his anger.

Rune stared intently at Dumbledore, trying to soften his tone, as it would be undignified to lose his temper with an old man, but he still couldn't calm down.

"I won't mention why you didn't arrange for professors to educate students about the power of Muggle firearms, after all, the American wizards who best understand the power of firearms are quite far from England." Rune tried his best to restrain himself, but still couldn't help but roar, "Then I'd like you to explain why you didn't set up a course where those young wizards could cast spells under the suppression of the magnetic field generator?"

His rage was so intense that the office floor began to melt, and eyes sprouted from the walls, glaring angrily at the greatest headmaster of all time. The murals fell silent, too afraid to move. Misha, behind Rune, continued to pretend to be invisible.

When questioned, Dumbledore paused for a moment, then said, "I just feel that with you here, those Muggles won't continue trafficking wizards."

This left Rune speechless. He knew he couldn't stay in this world for long, but Dumbledore was unaware of this and mistakenly believed Rune would become the next Dumbledore!

"How can you entrust a wizard's life to the kindness of others?" Rune remained silent for a long while before continuing, "Are you really that willing to gamble?"

As he spoke, Rune sighed again. He couldn't believe that Dumbledore, such a visionary and wise man, was so naive. Was it because Harry Potter was essentially a fairy tale?

However, Dumbledore slumped in his chair, looked up at the ceiling, and slowly said, "I'm just a little tired, Rune. I'm not only the headmaster now, but also the Minister for Magic. Those Aurors come here ostensibly to ask me to come out of retirement, but in reality they come with questions for me, treating this place like the Ministry of Magic. I really don't have the energy to deal with them."

He lowered his head slightly, glanced at Rune, then at Misha: "However, I think perhaps we could add another course—..."

Dumbledore narrowed his eyes and continued, "Or perhaps we could dedicate a few classes within Muggle Studies, with a responsible teacher helping the students learn about firearms and cast spells under the suppression of a magnetic field generator. What do you think?"

Rune raised an eyebrow and asked, "So, what about the teacher? Shouldn't you find one from America?"

"It will be too late by the time we find him, my friend." Dumbledore chuckled. "We happen to be short of a responsible teacher here. I've heard that the wizards under your tutelage have all improved to varying degrees, and since you've personally fought with Muggles, you must be very familiar with their weapons." "Don't even think about it!" Rune refused without hesitation, then looked away from the smiling old man and turned his gaze to Misha behind him.

This made Rune laugh in anger: "You want to steal my people?"

Dumbledore smiled and nodded: "After all, you wizards are probably the most knowledgeable about Muggle weapons in this world. Many wizarding schools are trying to recruit you, and I'm no exception."

Rune turned to Misha: "Do you want to stay here?"

Misha hesitated for a moment. She looked at the old man with a full head of white hair in front of her, then at the handsome Rune, and then shook her head.

Seeing Misha shake her head, Dumbledore asked again, "Why don't you hear my conditions first?"

The old man then said to Rune, "Could you please give me and this lady a little privacy?"

Rune nodded, walked to the side, and casually picked up a book to read. Meanwhile, Dumbledore deliberately used magic to mute the sound, preventing Rune from overhearing their conversation. This puzzled Rune, and to his surprise, shortly afterward, Dumbledore and Misha reached an agreement; Misha agreed to Dumbledore's request and became a new professor at Hogwarts.

Dumbledore whispered something to the phoenix, which nodded knowingly and flew out of the office. A short while later, Professor McGonagall arrived at the Headmaster's office. She glanced at Rune with pity, then let out a sigh of relief. The elderly catwoman then left with the newcomer.

Rune sighed. He hadn't expected that coming here just to discuss how to completely kill Voldemort would result in sending his own men to Hogwarts. Fortunately, Misha was at Hogwarts; even if Voldemort attacked, Rune would receive the news quickly. The current plot was completely different from the original story, and he didn't dare gamble on that noseless guy's ideas.

"I expect you to guarantee Misha's safety," Rune said softly to Dumbledore, taking a package from his pocket and placing it on the table before leaving the office.

Dumbledore smiled as he watched Rune leave, and only after he was gone did the surrounding murals breathe a sigh of relief. They began to chatter, some laughing, thankful they had survived Rune's outburst, while others breathed a sigh of relief and cheered happily.

Dumbledore opened the package, and inside was a wool sock.

"What a stingy gift!" Phineas Nigellus said dismissively.

"No, no, no, no—" Dumbledore happily rubbed his socks and said, "This is truly the best gift!"
