Chapter 278 The Wardrobe is Too Small

Bruce Wayne took a button-like object from his pocket and handed it to Xiao Xian. Xiao Xian took it and asked疑惑地问道, "What's this?"

Bruce Wayne smiled mysteriously: "This is a hidden listening device. As long as you bring this into the room, I can hear everything that happens inside."

Bruce nodded, trying to remain silent in the closet while he waited.

On the other side, Xiao Xian pushed open the door and stepped into Selena's room. Selena was standing in the center of the room, wearing a tight-fitting Catwoman costume. The black leather shimmered and outlined her graceful figure. The costume clung tightly to her body, perfectly showcasing her curves, making her look both sexy and powerful.

Selena's long, black hair cascaded down her shoulders like a waterfall, perfectly complementing her uniform. Her eyes, bright as stars, gleamed with a mischievous light, like those of a nimble cat. A pair of black cat earrings adorned her ears, adding a touch of playfulness and mystery.

Xiao Xian looked at Selena, who had suddenly changed her clothes, and asked, "Selena, why are you suddenly wearing this outfit? Do you have a performance today?"

Selena smiled alluringly, a hint of cunning and provocation in her eyes. "I think playing cards in this outfit would be even more exciting." She slowly approached Xiao Xian, her steps light and confident. "What, you don't like it?"

Xiao Xian met her gaze and smiled, "Of course I like it."

Selena tugged at her whip and smiled at Xiao Xian, saying, "It's a good thing it was you who came. If Bruce had come, I would have had to figure out how to explain it."

Xiao Xian feigned surprise and asked, "Was your husband here just now?"

Selena sighed, a hint of helplessness in her eyes. "That's right, but he also sent some good things." She pointed to several bottles of potions on the table. "He sent me some recovery potions and various other medicines."

Xiao Xian glanced at the potions, then turned to Selena and said, "Isn't it a bit unsafe to continue playing cards in your room?"

Selena frowned in confusion, looking at Xiao Xian. "What do you mean?"

Xiao Xian suggested, "Why don't we play cards in my room? I'm new to Wayne Manor and don't know many people, so not many people will bother us."

Selena thought for a moment, then finally nodded and smiled, "Okay, let's go to your room."

Bruce huddled in the closet of the small room, the cramped space making him feel suffocated, but he held his breath and waited anxiously. His heart pounded, and he could almost hear the sound of his blood flowing through his veins.

Suddenly, laughter came from outside the door. Bruce immediately rushed forward excitedly and peeked through the crack in the wardrobe door. He saw Selena and Xiao Xian walking into the room, chatting and laughing. Selena was wearing her usual tight Catwoman outfit, looking stunningly beautiful.

Bruce remembered begging Selena to wear this Catwoman outfit to play cards with him for a long time, but Selena always complained that the outfit was uncomfortable and never agreed. He never expected that she would actually wear this Catwoman outfit today for Xiao Xian.

Bruce's feelings were complex and contradictory, a mixture of jealousy and excitement.

Bruce kept a close eye on the two, noticing Selena and Xiao Xian behaving intimately. Selena leaned slightly on Xiao Xian's shoulder, while Xiao Xian gently put his arm around her waist, whispering something. Selena occasionally let out a silvery laugh.

The confined space made it almost impossible for him to breathe, sweat streamed down his forehead, and his strength was gradually being exhausted.

Fortunately, just as Bruce was about to lose consciousness, the commotion outside finally subsided. Xiao Xian and Selena finished their fight, and the room returned to silence.

Bruce peered cautiously through the crack in the wardrobe door and saw Selena, with Xiao Xian's help, put on the shoes for her Catwoman costume. She gracefully stood up, twirled in front of Xiao Xian, and asked with a smile, "How was it? No flaws, right?"

Xiao Xian walked around Selena, carefully examining her outfit, and nodded in satisfaction. "Perfect. Your husband definitely won't say anything."

Selena smiled slightly, a sly glint in her eyes. "That's good. I don't want him to suspect anything."

After saying that, Selena walked behind Xiao Xian and gently patted his shoulder. "Xiao Xian, you did a great job tonight. Thank you for your hard work."

Xiao Xian smiled slightly, turned around to look at Selena, and said with a smile, "This is what I should do."
