"Knock knock"

Hearing the knock, Hughes knew it must be Keller. He opened the door and there stood the frost elf boy from before. Unlike other frost elves who had short or long hair, he had a buzz cut, just like the young frost elf who had died.

Looking at the person in front of him, Keller hesitated, but still pretended to be calm and said:

"Lady Shirinville asked me to show you around our village. Let me take you to eat first."

……

Hughes followed Keller to the dining hall. Most of the frost elves in the village of Liviser ate at the dining hall, while some cooked for themselves.

The canteen was similar to Corrilla's restaurant, except it was open-air, with several large tables and chairs neatly arranged, and various dishes on the side tables for people to choose from.

Most of the chairs were already occupied by frost elves, who were eating unknown delicacies and drinking chilling wine, creating a lively scene.

The food on the wooden table was free. Hughes casually picked some and sat down to eat with Keller. Some frost elves just glanced at Hughes curiously before continuing their meal.

Hughes was fairly satisfied with the meal. The bread, made from blue berries and flour, was on the sweeter side and coated with a layer of floral nectar. The drink was made from the juice of an unknown plant, but it was surprisingly hot.

Hughes learned from Keller that the blue fruit was called Moonbreath Berry. The original Moonbreath Berry was a magical gift from the Tree of Life to the elves, and later, through cultivation, it was mass-produced.

Strangely enough, the Tree of Life seemed to know they had moved here, and before the Moonbreath Berry had even matured, it passed on the magic of the Moonbreath Berry to the farmers.

After the meal, Keller took Hughes to visit the school in Levisel and other places, which were all very ordinary places.

However, Hughes remembered that he seemed to have seen a few frost elves' faces at the Everfrost Spire. After asking around, he learned that if any frost elves met the requirements, they could also go to the Everfrost Spire to study.

On the way, Keller finally mustered up her courage and asked in a trembling voice:

"Excuse me, my brother is dead, right? He had the same hairstyle as me."

Hughes turned around, took out the ice crystal scimitar, and handed it to Keller.

"He died like a hero," Hughes said.

As for why he didn't take out the other one? Hughes expends a lot of magic power to condense fire element, and this scimitar is just what he needs when he wants to use fire element to do something.

Keller fought back tears as he accepted the heirloom from his loved one…

At Icefang Peak, a squad of Frostskin dwarves searched for something. The cold wind whipped their beards, and one of the dwarves kicked a thin frost elf in front of him, growling fiercely:

"Blue-skinned dogs! Where's your hideout?!"

Moken said tremblingly, "Our doors in Levis are opened at set times; you'll have to wait a while."

The frost-skinned dwarf glared at him and said to the frost-skinned dwarf beside him, "Inform Zog and Lord Moxi to come over."

The frost-skinned dwarf beside him was preparing to use the sorcerer's artifact to send a message.

"Whoosh!" "Swoosh!"

A tiny wind bullet pierced the forehead of the frost-skinned dwarf, causing his communication artifact to fall to the ground. The surrounding dwarves were alarmed and immediately cast defensive spells.

Suddenly, pairs of green eyes appeared in the cold wind, revealing a group of "monsters" whose bodies were composed of raging hurricanes, causing even the cold wind to give way.

These wind beasts came in many forms, some were deer, some were giant eagles, and how could these level zero spells possibly stop the spells of a formal wizard? The wind beasts roared and charged toward the frost-skinned dwarves who were defending.

The Wind Beast Deer aimed its antlers at a Frostskin Dwarf encased in a stone wall, and in less than a second, the stone wall was torn to shreds by the hurricane emanating from the antlers.

The antlers pierced through the stone wall and struck the frost-skinned dwarf's armor, sending him flying several meters away. His chest was pierced, leaving a large hole, and the frost-skinned dwarf collapsed to the ground, lifeless.

The other frost-skinned dwarves suffered similar fates; some had their bellies pierced by the tusks of wind-beast warthogs, while others had their heads crushed by wind-beast giant eagles.

Some frost-skinned dwarves originally wanted to take the opportunity to escape, since wizard apprentices could challenge each other across levels, but wizards faced a hurdle at each level, and there was no chance of defeating someone of a higher level; they would only be instantly killed by someone of a higher level.

But death had already been watching this despicable dwarf squad. Several frost-skinned dwarves who were temporarily unnoticed by the wind beasts tried to escape, but sadly found that they were already blocked by wind walls.

This wall of wind churns up a sharp hurricane; anyone who dares to cross it will be torn to pieces.

And so, the frostskin dwarf squad of 10 third-class wizard apprentices died in despair in this cage of trapped beasts.

The remains of the frost-skinned dwarves stained the cold wind with the stench of blood. After the massacre, a young frost elf appeared, draped in a green robe and hood, with a shawl woven from huge blue leaves draped over his shoulders.

A green breeze wafted around him, and the cold wind deliberately parted to make way for him, while Moken cowered on the ground in fear.

Jos floated to the curled-up Moken, lifted the hood woven from blue leaves to reveal his emerald green eyes, and stared at Moken with approval, slowly saying:

"Little Moken, you did well this time, daring to confront the Frostskin Dwarves. Come back with me, I'll take you to see Chief Shirinville."

Moken stood up, trembling all over, but then knelt down in fear. Jos quickly helped Moken up, and Moken said in a trembling voice:

"Those 10 frost-skinned dwarves are just scouts; 10 more full-fledged wizards will arrive soon."

Upon hearing this, Joss immediately opened his eyes wide, no longer hesitating. A gust of wind rose around him, and he grabbed Moken with one hand and flew towards Levis.

……

Jos and Moken quickly returned to their territory.

Beside the Frozen Breath Tree, the formal wizards gathered again for a meeting. Moken stood timidly to the side, while Shirinville closed her eyes in deep thought.

"Moken, are you sure you understood what the frost-skinned dwarves were saying?"

"Yes...yes, I've learned some dwarven languages, and I can understand what they're saying."

“Chief, I did teach Moken some dwarven language, and he is very interested in languages,” said Shirinville’s uncle.

The dwarf race has only one language, and even the Frostskin Dwarves, a variant, or other subspecies speak almost identical languages.

"It looks like we can wipe out those blue-skinned barbarians this time!" said the young frost elf carrying a cross-shaped sword. He had the sword resting on his lap and was applying some unknown sword oil to it, clearly eager for the upcoming battle.

Shirinville released her mental power, and a wave of pressure swept over everyone, immediately silencing them.

"Everyone, head to Icefang Peak," Shirinville said, her voice filled with murderous intent. Clearly, she already harbored a deep-seated hatred for the Frostskin Dwarf who had killed her father.
