Hogwarts: Nagini captured at the start

Chapter 49 Subduing the Giant

Chapter 49 Subduing the Giant

"No, I can't leave you here alone. I'll go open the door, we'll go together, and then...lock the door from the inside, yes, lock it from the inside, the professors have ways to control it."

After saying that, Hermione smiled slightly. She released her grip on Robin and struggled to step over one wooden plank after another, heading towards the door.

The troll seemed to have a particular fondness for Hermione's long brown hair. It dragged its stick and was about to chase after her when Robin picked up a metal pipe and banged it against the pool.

"Hey, big guy, your opponent's right here!"

Bang bang! Bang bang!

It took more than ten knocks before the giant was attracted by the sound.

It clumsily turned around, its stupid, dead-fish eyes staring blankly at the metal tube.

"Come here, you big idiot!"

As he spoke, Luo Bin raised the metal pipe high.

Biu~

boom!

The pipe hit the giant's nose precisely, causing it to roar in pain towards the ceiling.

It swung its wooden stick, panting heavily, and walked towards Robin.

Suddenly, Hermione appeared behind it. "Robin, no, the lock is broken, we can't open it."

"Wait a minute! The troll squeezed in through the crack in the door. With its underdeveloped cerebellum-like appearance, it looks like it would close the door behind it... Uh!"

Luo Bin: →_→, I think I guessed who was able to close the door, but in the original story it said it was locked from the inside, so how come it's broken now?

Delicious desserts VS Venting anger

In the troll's silly mind, eating was the top priority, and it turned around again and walked toward the delicious dessert.

"Ah! Don't come any closer!"

Hermione retreated step by step until her back was pressed tightly against the bronze door. As the troll caught up and raised his club, she cowered in fear, sobbing softly.

"Yuga--Dimlevi-O-Sa!"

As soon as the incantation was uttered, the wooden planks, metal pipes, tiles, toilet fragments, wooden sticks, and even the giant monster in the room slowly floated upwards and hovered in mid-air.

"Hey, stop crying, the troll has been subdued!"

The anticipated "blood-stained club" didn't happen. Hermione quietly wiped away her tears with her robes, stood up leaning against the bronze door, and said, "Don't guess! I didn't cry! The book says mountain trolls weigh up to 2 tons. Robin, your magic won't last long!"

After saying that, she turned around and started arguing with the door lock.

"Hermione, forget about the lock, come and help me knock on the tiles."

"what?"

Hermione turned her head and saw that Robin had already broken four or five pieces of tile, and each tile had a very sharp fracture surface. Thinking of the troll's pitifully small head, she immediately realized what the other party's plan was.

"Okay, I'll help you!"

Hermione walked to the steps of the cubicle, and without caring about the dirt, she forcefully pulled out a brick and then banged it against the tiles.

Five minutes later, on the floor a meter away from the bronze door, there were sharp broken tiles. Robin pulled Hermione under the pool and then waved his wand.

Boom!Boom!

The objects that were originally suspended in the air all fell rapidly downwards, and the dust kicked up when they hit the floor made people cough.

With a loud thud, Luo Bin felt the pool above his head and the floor beneath his feet tremble violently.

Once the noise outside subsided, he pulled Hermione outside.

"Is it dead?" Hermione asked, looking at the giant lying motionless on the ground with blood under its head.

If it dies, the Rubik's Cube totem will not generate heat.

"No, it must have fainted. It won't be able to pick up the stick again without ten days to half a month of recuperation."

"We're safe!"

Hermione hugged Robin excitedly, muttering repeatedly: "Great! He's alive! I don't have to worry about turning into a giant poop anymore!"

Troll. Poop?

The thought process of Little Chili is something most people really can't understand.

Now that Hermione has her back to the troll, it's the perfect time to capture it into the cube, otherwise... damn, she might die from the pain!

Despite the excruciating pain in his collarbone, Robin held Hermione tightly by the shoulder to make sure she wouldn't suddenly turn around. Then, he silently chanted a spell: Contain everything!

In an instant, the 3.7-meter-tall behemoth vanished into thin air, and Robin, displaying his superb acting skills, pointed to the floor and exclaimed in shock, "The giant monster... is gone!"

"what?"

Hermione turned to look at the floor, where the grime-like giant was nowhere to be seen. If it weren't for the blood on the broken porcelain shards, the thick wooden stick nearby, and the mess all over the floor, she would have thought that everything that had just happened was a dream.

"Could it have the magical ability to grow bigger or smaller?"

As Hermione tried to go over to check, a white light suddenly emanated from the crack in the bathroom door. Then, the brass door slammed onto the floor with a loud crash, just covering the troll's blood.

Snape, with a flick of his sleeve, burst through the bronze door, splashing up a cloud of gray mist. Behind him followed McGonagall, Quirrell, Harry, and Ron.

As soon as they entered the restroom, Harry and Ron rushed to the two men and asked if they were hurt.

Quirrell huddled in the doorway, clutching his clothes tightly to his chest, seemingly terrified by the sight before him.

Professor McGonagall pressed her pale lips together, and behind her square glasses, a surge of intense anger welled up inside her.

Snape, with the hem of his wizard robes swaying, paced back and forth in the room.

"Where is it?" Snape asked sharply after searching in vain.

"Who?"

"Stop playing dumb, where's the troll?"

"It disappeared. The giant was lying right there by the brass door, and then, just like that, it vanished into thin air."

Luo Bin pointed to the brass door and said.

"What kind of trick are you two playing?"

Her voice was cold and laced with anger; clearly, Professor McGonagall didn't quite believe Robin's story.

Snape stared intently at Robin, seemingly determined to see through him. Even Quirrell, who was hiding by the door maintaining his cowardly persona, looked at Robin with a mixture of doubt and inquiry.

Hermione believed that if she hadn't hidden in the women's restroom, none of what happened would have occurred. She pursed her lips and said, "Professor, it's true, Robin wasn't lying."

"I've read about trolls in books. They're as strong as oxen, but stupid and dull. I thought I could handle one on my own. If Robin hadn't found me, I'd probably be eaten by a troll by now."

"Robin used a metal pipe to knock on the stone wall to attract the giant monster and buy me time to escape, but somehow the door lock broke."

Harry and Ron both looked uneasy upon hearing this. Hermione, oblivious to their subtle movements, cleared her throat and continued, "When the troll raised its club and swung it at me, Robin used a levitation charm to lift the troll and its club into the air. We placed some sharp shards of porcelain underneath it, and when the troll fell, it hit its head on the shards and passed out. Then it disappeared."

"Professor, if you move the brass door, you'll see the porcelain shards Robin and I arranged, and the troll's blood. Professor, what Robin and I said is true!"

Minerva McGonagall waved her wand, and with a bang, the brass door flipped to the side, revealing the scene beneath, just as Hermione had described.
