While Loran went to gather information, Lin Wen and his two companions were drinking near the adventurer group, listening to their conversation.

"The Lord of Clam Town deserves to die! I originally thought that a prosperous town like Clam Town would be a very tolerant place, but I never expected him to restrict our personal freedom. He's simply a tyrant!"

"Yes, we are not his subjects. What right does he have to do this? I think he should study the kingdom's laws!"

Some of the adventurers in the audience even enjoyed this feeling, especially this woman who seemed somewhat assertive; cheering for her felt as satisfying as carrying out some kind of order.

Loran narrowed his eyes as he looked at the woman standing on the high platform inside the tavern. What was she up to now?

With a smile, Vicky asked with concern, "I believe that many of the adventurers sitting here do not know me. You may be adventurers from afar, or travelers passing through this place."

"However, none of that matters. What matters is that none of us can leave Hama Town now because the arrogant lord of Hama Town has ordered our freedom to be restricted. Do you all think... these arrogant nobles can use their power to do whatever they want?"

Violet's words instantly resonated with many people. They had been incredibly frustrated these past few days, unable to go out. With a mage in charge of the lord, they, a group of lowly adventurers, could only accept their fate.

But now the local adventurers' guild leader can actually resonate with their emotions, and with Violet's beauty added to the mix, it's hard not to like her!
