Archer's Adventure Manual

Chapter 133: Magic Arrows!

Noah frowned upon seeing this. His powerful attack had been easily neutralized by Feu. Did that mean that as long as Feu was present, they had no chance of winning?

Finita unleashed a fireball, much larger than the one from the previous battle in Inada Village, which shattered the magic shield upon impact.

However, with just a slight lift of his hand, the shattered magical shield was able to reform.

Just as Feuer raised his hand, a ghostly figure appeared from behind him.

"You like casting spells, huh? I'll let you cast spells!" Lin Wen thought coldly, the dagger flashing in the air before striking Fu'er's neck.

The next moment, Feuer slammed his staff down heavily to the side!

"Boom!" Lin Wen was sent flying backwards. Fortunately, he managed to escape into the Shadow Realm in time to adjust his position, thus avoiding the impact of the secondary impact.

Feuer scoffed, "Little brat, did you really think I wasn't on guard? Just accept your fate; it'll be better for both of us!"

Although the adventurers before him looked frail and fragile, Feu did not let his guard down. He still remembered Carlos's death and would not be careless.

Looking at the stalemate before him, Loran recalled his experience from the last battle. He knew that to defeat these guys with magical shields, he had to break through the shields first.

How did you manage to do it last time?

"Brian! Smash those nasty shields!" Loran yelled, now pinning all his hopes on Brian.

After all, it was Brian who broke through the shield last time, and now we can only place our hopes on this big dog that always creates miracles!

"Aww! Let me, your dog-like poor green worms, teach you a lesson!" Brian sprinted and charged, slamming his head against the magic shield.

Unfortunately, no miracle occurred. Brian showed no reaction whatsoever; it was merely a large hound that had bumped into him, without causing the slightest damage to the magic shield.

The goblin swung his stick and struck Brian hard, causing Brian to scream and faint.

Loran: "..."

Oh no, this script is different from the last one!

Sure enough, Brian's performance is very inconsistent...

Aside from the members of the Dog-like Squad, everyone else could only provide auxiliary attacks or use healing potions on the team members.

Feuer simply watched quietly from the sidelines, taking no unnecessary action. He thoroughly enjoyed the feeling of his prey being slowly tortured to death, which brought him immense pleasure.

If the prey dies, then there's no one to share that feeling with... and then things become meaningless.

During his counterattack, Thompson was accidentally hit by a goblin's club, sending him flying and crashing to the ground.

The backpack on his back was also opened in mid-air, and all the contents inside spilled out.

They were sheets of yellowed paper, with many strange patterns and symbols drawn on them.

"Thompman, are you alright?" Juno quickly stepped forward to help Thompson up, while Thompson hurriedly picked up the papers on the ground, afraid of losing them.

Juno frowned. "Thompman, now is not the time to pick up these things!"

Sure enough, the next moment, a goblin's staff silently arrived, its target aimed directly at Thompson's head.

With Loran and the others surrounded, they naturally couldn't spare any hands to help Thompson. Seeing this, Juno didn't hesitate and pounced on the goblin!

"Clang!" The dull thud of the wooden stick rang out as Juno's head was struck hard by the stick. Juno's lunge only hit the insurmountable magical shield.

"Mrs. Juno!" Loran exclaimed in shock, condensing the crystallized wind element onto the arrow, which shot out with a whoosh, shattering the magic shield and piercing the goblin's head.

When Thompson saw Juno fall to the ground, his breathing became rapid. He stared at the yellowed papers clutched in his hands, and for a moment his vision blurred.

"What...what did I do?! Juno!" Thompson rushed forward and hugged Juno, only to see a faint wound on Juno's head from which blood was flowing.

He quickly applied medicine to the wound to stop the bleeding, but Juno fell into a coma and would not wake up for a while.

Loran was also surprised. Drawing his bow and nocking an arrow was just a subconscious action, but the problem was... he had no arrows left.

That arrow just now... Loran was suddenly startled; it seemed to be an arrow he had conjured using magic!

The magic arrows made their first appearance and instantly killed a goblin with a magic shield. The magic shield proved to be easily destroyed by the magic arrows and other skills like Pierce.

Feuer was slightly surprised by this rapidly changing scene; he hadn't expected that the magic shield would be neutralized by Loran in an instant.

Before Feu could react further, Loran had already drawn his bow and nocked several arrows in quick succession, continuing his previous instincts and releasing several magical arrows in succession.

Arrows pierced through the magical shield, striking the monsters within and slaying them one by one.

At the same time, three arrows were fired in quick succession towards Feuer, who was watching the show not far away!

"Interesting!" Feuer did not expect Loran to suddenly master magic arrows, but he was prepared. A barrier several times thicker than a magic shield appeared in front of him.

"Ding!" The magic arrow stopped flying upon hitting the thick barrier, blocked by it.

By this time, Loran was also covered in sweat. Although the magic arrows were very powerful, they still consumed a great deal of mental energy.

It is somewhat difficult to release multiple times in a short period of time.

"It's time to end this farce."

The barrier dissipated, and the staff in Feuer's hand emitted an eerie green light before suddenly exploding, with vines formed from magic spreading towards the group.

The vines grew incredibly fast. Noah and the others used their weapons to cut them, but as soon as they severed one section, the next section grew back at an alarming rate.

The group was helpless and could only be firmly bound by the vines.

Loran only unleashed a magic arrow, which only severed some of the vines and did not stop them at all.

They were eventually bound tightly by the vines. In an instant, a feeling of suffocation surged into their hearts. The vines that wrapped around them were slowly contracting like a python, taking away their ability to breathe.

Looking at the flushed faces of the crowd, Feuer's face revealed an uncontrollable excitement. "Yes, that's it! Give you a glimmer of hope, then slowly drag you into despair. Be afraid! Tremble! Finally, die in anger and resentment!"
