Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 18 The Alliance of Totland and Stark

Willy Wonka's home is not in New York; his residence in New York is a luxury apartment, which can only be considered a temporary place to stay.

In fact, he rarely even stays in this apartment. Most of the time in New York, he lives at the company. There is a dedicated lounge in the Totland Building, fully equipped with all kinds of amenities.

Willy Wonka's home is in Philadelphia, where he owns a castle and a 5-hectare estate. The entire estate is filled with a fairytale style, perfectly matching Willy Wonka's own taste.

The castle's outer walls shimmered in the sunlight, appearing from afar as if they were studded with diamonds, sparkling brilliantly.

The estate also houses some small animals, and a large pond where two black swans frolic.

Warmth is the first feeling anyone gets when they set foot in this manor.

"Even the manor is named Chocolate Manor. Willy Wonka must really love chocolate."

The moment Tony Stark stepped out of the car and saw the manor, he exclaimed that he was already overwhelmed just by standing at the entrance.

Happy and Pepper followed Tony and, led by Frank, entered the Chocolate Plantation.

That's right, the Chocolate Plantation was Frank's official workplace; all his other jobs were just part-time.

A winding path paved with cobblestones leads through the area, where you can smell the fragrance of fresh grass.

Willy Wonka didn't turn his home into a chocolate factory; he simply decorated the estate with a little icing and chocolate.

"Tony, I heard you always refer to the Totland Corporation as the Baby Corporation, and think that chocolate is food for babies."

"So, how are you feeling about the baby food's effects now?"

The first thing Willy Wonka did after meeting Tony was to ask him a question, because he wanted to see how embarrassed Tony would be.

Tony always knew he had a foul mouth, but because he was rich and powerful, people had to tolerate whatever he said.

But he was the first to directly experience what it felt like to be ridiculed and mocked.

He now felt that Willy Wonka was a really annoying person. How could someone hold a grudge like that? All he did was make a few comments at the party. He was practically a carbon copy of himself.

Tony made a mental note, ranking Willy Wonka as his second most hated person. As for first, it was, of course, Justin Hammer, the president of Hammer Industries, a clumsy copycat.

"Mr. Willy Wonka, let me correct you here. The Totland Corporation is an absolutely great company, and its future achievements will be no less than those of Stark Industries."

"I will change my tune at the subsequent cocktail party. I swear on my reputation as Tony Stark, I will be the promotional ambassador for Totland Chocolate at the party."

"You might even have to pay me a promotional fee then."

Hearing the first few sentences, Chili thought Tony had changed his ways, but the last sentence made her raise her eyebrows in exasperation.

Tony is still the same carefree Tony, unchanged.

Willy Wonka reached out and shook hands with Tony.

"If you come to Totland, I won't give you dollars, but I'll pay you chocolates as wages, and I'll give you delicious Totland chocolates every month."

The two exchanged a smile, and the previous slight unpleasantness was thus forgotten.

"Willy Wonka, the most important thing I've come here for today is to thank you."

"You are a genius. Your liqueur-filled chocolates are truly groundbreaking. You have filled a missing piece in my heart."

"Listen, buddy, I hate to admit it, but I have to say it. You're pretty good!"

Willy Wonka poured Tony a glass of wine and then said:

"Haha, Tony, if a reporter heard you say that, they'd give it a really sensational headline."

"These headlines will probably infuriate you; you know, these authors will write anything."

"Let's not talk about these irrelevant topics anymore. Try this wine. It's a specialty of my chocolate factory, and it's one of a kind."

Tony picked up his glass and gently clinked it with Willy Wonka's. "Cheers to this unique wine and to our friendship."

"Cheers!"

Tony had to admit, this was truly a fine wine. Not just in taste, but it also possessed extraordinary power; Tony could clearly feel the fatigue from his long hours of experimentation vanish.

Thinking of the liqueur-filled chocolates, Tony decided to end the charade and get straight to the point.

"Pepper, give me the box."

Pepper took the suitcase from Happy and handed it to Tony.

The items in the box were very heavy, making it difficult for Little Chili to carry.

Willy Wonka could sense that the box contained some important equipment, but as everyone has their own expertise, he didn't know what it was for.

He could only sense that the equipment inside the box contained a tremendous amount of energy, and if this energy were to be unleashed, even he would have to take it seriously.

Willy Wonka looked at Tony with a questioning gaze, waiting for him to continue.

Tony didn't waste any words; he simply laid the box out on the table and opened it.

"Willy Wonka, this is my latest research achievement, a miniaturized nuclear fusion device. I am very grateful to you because of this liqueur-filled chocolate product."

"I'm ready to collaborate with you in the energy market. My research will change the existing global energy landscape, and together we'll stand at the top."

Willy Wonka reached out and gently stroked the device on the table, a cube that was 20 centimeters long, wide, and high.

The overall color is silver-gray, and the silver patterns on the shell shimmer from time to time, giving it a futuristic and technological feel.

Willy Wonka stroked the cube with his hand. He did not doubt Tony Stark's words, but he secretly marveled that such a small device was humanity's first step into space.

Energy—unexpectedly, Tony not only solved the problem of controlled nuclear fusion, but also miniaturized the controlled nuclear fusion device.

Without a doubt, the moment Tony took this device out of the laboratory, Stark Industries had already truly dominated the world's energy landscape.

Now Tony is handing Willy Wonka a ticket, wanting to invite him to share in the glory. This carries a certain risk, because what they're doing is disrupting the dominance of other energy giants.

For an arms dealer and a grain merchant to transform themselves into a dominant force in the energy industry is quite a challenge!

Would Willy Wonka refuse? Of course not. With virtually unlimited energy, his plan to sell chocolate throughout the universe becomes even simpler.

He picked up the bottle and poured Tony a glass of wine.

"Tony, cheers to our future collaboration!"
