Lieutenant Charlie knew very well that opportunity favors the prepared.

Faced with a figure as important as Willy Wonka, he reacted almost instinctively without thinking.

Lieutenant Charlie's first thought was to use cocoa powder from the Totland candy store to make a warm cup of hot cocoa.

After taking the hot cocoa, Willy Wonka tasted it and found the flavor familiar; it was the affordable version produced by his own company, which cost $10 per kilogram.

There was no hint of disdain, only the joy of their product being recognized. Willy Wonka clearly remembers that the standard price for cocoa powder procured by the military was $15 per kilogram.

So this officer must have bought it out of his own pocket because he liked the unique flavor of the $10 cocoa powder. This is an affirmation of his work.

"Thank you, it tastes great. What's your name?"

Lieutenant Charlie immediately stood at attention and reported to Willy Wonka in a reporting tone:

"Mr. Willy Wonka, my name is Charlie, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division."

"Okay, Lieutenant Charlie, you did a good job."

Lieutenant Charlie, who had exchanged a few words with Willy Wonka and left his name, was so excited that his face turned red. He seemed to see the dawn of a turning point in his career.

As for the soldiers around him who didn't understand his "flattery," Lieutenant Charlie could only reply that these green recruits hadn't had enough of life's hardships yet.

At least the big shot remembered my name.

And indeed, Willy Wonka had taken a liking to Lieutenant Charlie. After all, Charlie's connection with the chocolate factory had a long and complicated history.

Willy Wonka thought he might have a chance to mentor Lieutenant Charlie. His good mood today was almost entirely thanks to this lieutenant.

The military's research on super soldiers has never stopped, and Air Force General Ross, who is currently in charge of the super soldier program, is responsible for liaising with Willy Wonka.

Willy Wonka had heard of this famous hawkish general before, but this was the first time he had met him.

The Totland Group has closer ties with the Army and Navy, but its relationship with the Air Force is relatively weak.

"Mr. Willy Wonka, thank you for your contributions to America, for thwarting the conspiracy of aliens and S.H.I.E.L.D. You are a true hero of America!"

Upon meeting, General Ross reached out and shook hands tightly with Willy Wonka. His gaze swept over Willy Wonka's bare upper body, his eyes filled with aggression and greed.

Willy Wonka felt a chill run down his spine at the sight, pulled his hand away from General Ross's grasp, and then casually wiped it on Carol's body.

Willy Wonka knew that General Ross was envious of his abilities, but General Ross's behavior was just like that of a psychopath.

He couldn't help but think: Perhaps General Ross's great efforts to capture Banner were actually for some other purpose?

General Ross stared intently at Carol, who had been carelessly tossed aside, his eyes practically gleaming. Like a starving wolf that hadn't eaten for three days, he was finally treated to a delicious meal and couldn't wait to devour her whole.

"General Ross~ General Ross."

Willy Wonka had to shout twice to get General Ross's attention back.

"You provide a list of 20 people, and I will mentor them as agreed. I believe you've also seen the performance of the rest of the Totland Group via satellite, and I think that should satisfy you."

"Mr. Willy Wonka, then I'll leave it to you. I'll draft the list as soon as possible."

Carol was taken over by General Ross's men, and General Ross asked Willy Wonka to impose certain restrictions on Carol.

Those within the military know their own capabilities; they are acutely aware of their own situation. If Carol were to awaken, even nuclear weapons would be insufficient to contain her.

So Willy Wonka provided after-sales service by wrapping Carol in chocolate to restrict her movements.

How the military conducts their research is none of his business.

Willy Wonka didn't exchange many pleasantries with General Ross; he was in a hurry to return to the Chocolate Plantation and didn't even meet with Tony, who was in Washington.

Lip's funeral is about to begin, and as the boss, he cannot be absent. Only his presence at the funeral signifies that this collective revenge by the Totland Group has temporarily come to an end.

When Willy Wonka returned to the Chocolate Plantation, it was already evening, and the once-sweet plantation was now immersed in a solemn and sorrowful atmosphere.

The once shimmering frosting on the castle's exterior walls had lost its shine, as if mourning the lives lost.

With Willy Wonka's permission, Frank made some simple arrangements for the estate.

From the main gate of the manor, pure white petals are scattered on the ground, forming a path that connects the gate and the hall.

These petals are made of white chocolate, and each petal was handmade by Lip's wife and children.

Not far from the Chocolate Plantation is a cemetery, where Lip's grave has already been dug under Frank's supervision. All that remains is for the coffin to be placed inside.

After Willy Wonka returned to the Chocolate Plantation, the tragic funeral officially began.

It is always sad and heartbreaking for parents to bury their children, especially for Lip's wife and children, who stood with Frank at the front of the coffin to pay their respects.

This funeral did not follow the usual procedure, but since 45 years ago, all funerals in this large family have been held according to this procedure, and thus it has become a tradition.

Everyone observes a moment of silence before the coffin, relatives offer prayers, and then friends and family carry the coffin into the ground. Finally, immediate family members summarize the deceased's life, and only then is the funeral considered over.

Looking at Nick Fury's lifelike chocolate head, Willy Wonka felt the capriciousness of fate.

He felt only sadness because Lip's life had been lost in vain, simply because of Nick Fury's order and the infighting among S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

Willy Wonka felt that the Skrulls deserved to die even more; these ignorant alien refugees had actually set their sights on Earth.

"Frank, take Lip and let him rest in peace. We'll find the rest of the Skrulls on Earth. One day we'll chop those bastards to pieces."

"I understand, Mr. Willy Wonka."

Frank and his children lifted the coffin together, lowering it into the grave with a steady, heavy motion.

There were no outsiders at the funeral; everyone present was Lip's family: his father, some of his childhood playmates, and younger relatives who called him uncle.

Everyone watched with heavy hearts as Lip's coffin was lowered into the grave, trying their best not to recall the undignified sight of the giant's corpse.

Frank once again realized the greatness of Mr. Willy Wonka; only with a great love for humanity could one create a product like liqueur-filled chocolates.
