Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 30: Fruit Evolution and the Birth of Iron Man

A week has passed since the funeral. Although the grief won't dissipate quickly, life must go on. Those who are alive also need to be strong and continue living with the beautiful hopes that the departed held for them.

Throughout the week, news of a meteorite strike on the United States capital has been rampant, with some rumors circulating, such as a battle between superpowered beings or an alien attack, all of which have been refuted by the White House press secretary.

The White House press secretary urged people to focus on their current lives rather than these unfounded rumors during a press conference.

The news of Totland Group's deepened cooperation with the military and Stark Industries' announcement of its entry into the energy sector was overshadowed by numerous false reports and seemed insignificant.

Willy Wonka stayed in the chocolate factory, playing with the Space Stone in his hand.

The Tesseract has been shattered by Willy Wonka, revealing the Space Stone. A smooth, oval-shaped gem, more perfect than the finest sapphire.

Willy Wonka was currently using Conqueror's Haki to coat his entire body in order to resist the energy erosion from the Space Stone. However, even so, Willy Wonka was still struggling quite a bit, as maintaining Haki at a high intensity for a long time was a very physically demanding task.

It's been a week since Willy Wonka acquired the Space Stone, but he hasn't made much progress in his research on it.

However, he made two discoveries. The first was that Haki, especially Conqueror's Haki, could be used to resist the erosion of gem energy, which was the basis for his use of the Space Stone.

Secondly, the Space Stone can actually enhance Devil Fruit abilities, allowing the Chocolate Fruit, which had already been developed to its limit, to be further developed. This was the biggest surprise for Willy Wonka.

After arriving in the Marvel universe, Willy Wonka discovered that his previous bottleneck had disappeared, and every time he activated his Devil Fruit power, it brought him a surge of excitement.

It's hard to describe the feeling; it's like a dandelion being blown away by the wind, taking root, and beginning its journey of flowering and bearing fruit.

This feeling reached its peak after obtaining the Space Stone. Willy Wonka felt that after continuously absorbing the Space Stone's energy, he had reached a peculiar state.

Something seemed to be developing inside my body, just one step away from completion.

After arriving on Marvel Earth, Willy Wonka maintained the "Cocoa World," or chocolate factory, as a permanent facility to hone his Fruit powers. Placing the Space Stone in the chocolate factory ensured that no one could steal it without Willy Wonka's knowledge.

It's about time to make some public appearances within a week.

Especially since Stark Industries, Tottenham's ally, seems to have come up with something extraordinary, otherwise Tony wouldn't be in such a hurry to meet with him.

So Robert drove, with Frank in the car, and the three of them headed to a weapons testing facility in New York. This facility was used by Stark Industries to test newly developed weapons.

When Willy Wonka arrived at the agreed location, he didn't find Tony anywhere; only Pepper Potts and Happy were there.

"Mr. Willy Wonka, please wait a moment, Tony will be here soon."

Chili led the three to a round table and settled them in. She prepared afternoon tea, offering coffee, black tea, and lemonade to suit their different tastes.

Tony and Pepper had discussed it, and she knew that Tony just needed a cool entrance, not to actually be late.

Willy Wonka's Observation Haki had already spotted Tony in the sky.

"It looks like Tony will arrive in a special way today."

No sooner had Willy Wonka finished speaking than Tony's voice came from afar: "Guys, I hope I haven't kept you waiting too long."

The flashy gold and red armored suit, equipped with thrusters on its hands and feet, slowly descended from the sky and landed beside the group.

This is a humanoid armor that appears quite agile based on Tony's appearance, and it also has weapon slots on its shoulders containing small missiles specially prepared by Tony.

With a series of sounds of motors and steel clanging, the armor's visor opened, revealing Tony's slightly smug face.

"Willy Wonka, look at my new gear. It's equipped with a nuclear fusion device as its energy source, and it also solves the temperature problem for high-altitude flight. I spent three days building it up, and another three days fixing the problems that arose."

"I'm planning to wear this armor to the moon next week; perhaps this will be the starting point for humanity's conquest of the universe."

At this time, the armor, being the first generation model, was still somewhat cumbersome. Tony was unable to detach the armor from his body on its own, so he simply stood by the table to introduce it to everyone.

Tony Stark did not experience a kidnapping, yet he still managed to create this iconic armor.

The battle between Willy Wonka and Carol a week ago brought Tony a great sense of crisis. Tony's brain worked at high speed under pressure, and he completed the assembly of the humanoid armor in just one week.

Iron Man was born!

However, this armor was not Tony's main purpose in contacting Willy Wonka. Tony tapped the armor lightly, and then a beam of light shot out from his chest, forming a projection in front of everyone.

It's a spaceship!

"This has been part of Stark Industries' long-standing plan, and the aerospace sector has always been one of our strengths. Now that our energy shortage has been addressed, this spacecraft is ready to take off at any time."

Willy Wonka carefully examined the spaceship parameters that Tony had shown him, and he was overjoyed!

"Tony, this is a truly perfect interstellar cargo ship. I didn't expect you to have such technological reserves, and to have completed the physical construction so quickly."

"We can put our plan into action now. I can't wait to see the spaceship loaded with chocolate set sail and head into space."

Tony was filled with self-admiration for his judgment; he had long believed Willy Wonka to be a good person, but his opinion had wavered after that battle.

Upon seeing Willy Wonka, his first thought was still about selling chocolate, and he thought to himself that he had indeed spotted a talent.

Neither Willy Wonka nor Tony were the type to drag things out; they had a brief exchange and both got the results they wanted.

With a clang, Tony's mask snapped shut again. He braced himself with his hands on the ground, and the four thrusters spewed flames, propelling him slowly into the air.

Tony needs to go back and improve the armor. The current model of vehicle is more about function than weapons, and he wants to arm the armor as soon as possible.

Willy Wonka was extremely excited at this moment, and he said to Robert with great enthusiasm:

"I need to get back to the chocolate factory as soon as possible. I need to prepare enough new products, and make them big enough to be the world's first for the Totland Group."
