Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory

Chapter 50 Let's Charge Towards the Universe Side by Side

Treasures are best enjoyed by oneself, of course. Allies? Aren't allies just scapegoats?

Tony has already testified to General Ross that the Hulk is missing, so the Hulk is indeed missing. Although Willy Wonka considers himself to have considerable strength, he has no way to conjure up a person whose whereabouts are unknown.

"Tony, I really don't know where Hulk is. Maybe he's tired of playing and sleeping right now?"

Upon hearing Willy Wonka's words, Tony's forehead veins bulged. Hulk? We already know his name, and now you're telling me he's not here!

"Willy Wonka, so that big green guy is called Hulk. I never expected you to be the one who knows the experimental subjects best. Even General Ross used a code name when he asked me for help."

"What you're saying could easily lead to misunderstandings. People might think you and Hulk have some kind of secret connection."

Willy Wonka remained unfazed by Tony's sarcastic remarks. Even as a child, Charlotte Linlin had taught him that in the world of gangsters, one must have a thick skin. Only with a thick skin could one obtain real benefits.

"Tony, that monster kept calling himself Hulk during the fight. So I just called him that. It's normal that you couldn't hear him clearly because you were flying in the air and far away during the fight."

"Obadia definitely heard me clearly. If you don't believe me, you can ask him yourself. We're allies, why would I lie to you?"

Willy Wonka's words were quite sincere; if Tony hadn't known that Willy Wonka was like him, even he would have almost believed him. Putting himself in Willy Wonka's shoes, Tony would have made the same decision.

Like the legacy of S.H.I.E.L.D., the Totto Land Corporation seems to have acquired the least spoils. However, the Tesseract, one of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s top secrets, has mysteriously disappeared.

Hmph, getting the better deal and still acting innocent—that still bothers Tony. It's the same this time; Hulk must have been hidden away by Willy Wonka.

"Tony, stop dwelling on this. Leave the mess to the military. Since you're here, you're guests. The banquet has just begun, so please keep smiling, okay?"

Tony, with a forced smile, was dragged into the dance floor by Willy Wonka. The presence of the chocolate soldiers didn't really impress Tony.

The ability to bridge the gap between the mortal world and Hell through a single product makes Willy Wonka undeniably a powerful superhuman. The existence of the chocolate soldiers is perfectly normal. The Iron Man Legion is no less formidable than the chocolate soldiers!

George had a real eye-opener tonight, recalling the literature he had read, and he was convinced that Isabella had led him into a real world.

"So this is the truth of the world: superpowers, monsters, and this fairytale manor. Darling, this night has been more exciting than the last thirty years of my life."

George remarked to Isabella with a sigh that he felt he had wasted his life, living in a "superficial world" until middle age when the real world finally unveiled its mysteries to him.

Isabella listened silently; she too had doubted the reality of the world when she first witnessed Uncle Willy Wonka's abilities.

Gwen felt out of place in this setting, but luckily she was with two people her age. The three of them chatted in a corner and quickly became acquainted.

Isabella felt a huge weight lifted from her shoulders, and only then could she finally relax and enjoy the banquet with George.

Tony wanted to get home as soon as possible. This time the loss was quite significant; the manufacturing cost of a brand-new Mark III suit, which was worth tens of millions of dollars, was wasted in just one night.

Furthermore, the Iron Man Legion is now exposed to the military and will undoubtedly be targeted. Tony needs to prepare for the persistent and persistent demands of the military representatives.

After frolicking on the dance floor for a while, Tony said goodbye to Willy Wonka after the final round of fireworks.

Willy Wonka did not try to stop him. He had only achieved half of his goal tonight, and the other half was not convenient to show to Tony.

Tony and Obadiah led the Iron Man suits into the air, performing a thunder dance over the manor before leaving.

Tony brought the atmosphere of the banquet to a small climax!

Once the flashes of the Iron Man armor thrusters were no longer visible on the horizon, Willy Wonka walked up to the banquet platform. He gently raised his hand, and the transparent dome returned to its dreamlike color, with the tall curtains falling.

Above the curtains is a huge, hand-embroidered cake island logo that appears to flow under various light sources, creating a stunning effect.

Everyone quieted down, waiting for Willy Wonka to speak next.

They're all smart people; George Stacy and Isabella Jones's relationship isn't worth Willy Wonka making a big fuss about gathering everyone together.

Now, let's get down to business!

"My friends, I am your elder, and also the patriarch of Tottoland. I founded the Tottoland Corporation amidst the flames of war, leading you all forward together."

"Over the decades, my companions have been dying out one after another, and even Frank, who is the only one left now, is no longer the same as he used to be."

"The people present were divided into different factions because of their surnames, and they competed with each other on various levels. I have always known this, and I accept it."

At this moment, the people in the banquet hall exchanged glances, then looked away. Everyone had their own interests at stake; if it weren't for Willy Wonka holding things back, this massive corporation, Tottoland, would probably have already fallen apart.

Willy Wonka continued:

"But now the situation has changed. I want to lead you into the universe, I want to lead you to a more glorious future. So I want to lead you to make some changes."

"However, I need to say this beforehand: this is a very risky undertaking. We may face war, death, or even complete annihilation. I will not force anyone. If anyone wants to withdraw, leave the Chocolate Factory now, and I will not make things difficult for them."

"The shares will be converted into US dollars according to their market value, which will be enough to guarantee a comfortable life for the rest of my life."

Frank walked slowly through the crowd, opened the banquet hall doors, and his gaze, sharp as a knife, swept across the faces of the people standing there.

"Mr. Willy Wonka's words are my orders. Leave now and you will not be troubled. If you want to leave again later, you'll have to ask the knife in my hand."

The scene was completely silent; no one spoke or made any move.

George glanced at Isabella, then stood firmly by his wife's side.

Willy Wonka was also observing from the stage, trying to discern from people's expressions who were staunch supporters and who were cowardly opportunists.

His Observation Haki filled the entire area, allowing him to perceive details invisible to the naked eye. Five minutes later, Willy Wonka clapped his hands in satisfaction:

"Now that everyone has made their decision, let's share the glory!"
