Marvel: Wonka's Chocolate Factory
Chapter 53 Your child, how come it's on me?
In Hulk's hazy understanding, the person who was so good to him was his father. Just like General Ross protected Betty, Hulk felt that Willy Wonka was like a "father," so he should call him that.
After Hulk finished speaking, he sat there obediently and waited. He couldn't quite explain what he was waiting for, but he had a secret sense of anticipation.
A strange emotion welled up in Willy Wonka's heart as he suddenly realized that his well-intentioned but purposeful kindness was the only kindness Hulk had ever encountered.
Like Willy Wonka, Hulk sat cross-legged on the grass, seemingly waiting patiently. Hulk's body is so enormous that even small movements become very noticeable.
Willy Wonka found it hilarious to see Hulk waving his fingers back and forth; he really was an impatient kid.
He stood up, took two steps forward, and patted Hulk on the head.
"Yes, Hulk. I am your father. My name is Charlotte Willy Wonka, and your name is Charlotte Hulk."
Hulk was excited and wanted to jump up, but he restrained himself when he thought of Willy Wonka beside him.
"Hulk~ Daddy~"
"Yes, I'll take care of you from now on, Hulk. You don't need to be afraid anymore."
Willy Wonka couldn't quite explain his own feelings; perhaps the Hulk reminded him of the time he took care of his younger siblings on Whole Cake Island.
Willy Wonka and Hulk sat on the grass in the chocolate factory, Willy Wonka trying to teach Hulk to speak, while Hulk would occasionally stuff food into his mouth while learning.
Time flew by, and Hulk began to doze off after studying for a while, eventually falling asleep again to Willy Wonka's soft whispers.
After Hulk fell asleep, his consciousness began to subside, while Banner's consciousness regained control of his body.
As consciousness shifted, Hulk's massive body shrank again, and the dark green color was replaced by white.
Banner rubbed his eyes, feeling that Hulk's appearance this time was much shorter than before. His vision was still blurry, but he felt a warm sensation all over his body.
When Banner opened his eyes, he found Willy Wonka looking at him.
Banner had seen Willy Wonka on television and had received sponsorship from the Totland Corporation for some of his experiments.
"Willy Wonka?"
Banner muttered something unconsciously. He didn't see the extensive damage to his surroundings; instead, he saw a man smiling and looking at him.
Banner immediately realized that this was Willy Wonka's territory.
"Mr. Willy Wonka, I trespassed on your territory by accident, and I will leave now."
Willy Wonka took out a coat and handed it to Banner. "Dr. Banner, put on this coat first, then we can talk about other things."
Banner was a little embarrassed, so he quickly put on his coat and wrapped it around himself to cover his bare upper body.
"Dr. Banner, how much do you know about the Hulk?"
Willy Wonka cut to the chase, revealing that he had Bruce Banner completely under his control. Dr. Banner was now like a duck already in his mouth, with no chance of escaping Willy Wonka's grasp.
Given this, it is perfectly normal to speed things up and save time for both parties.
"I knew it! I knew it!"
Banner covered his face with his hands, rubbing it back and forth. He didn't want all of this to be a dream, and he wanted to wake up from the dream right now.
Unfortunately, it wasn't him. Banner sat down on the ground, somewhat dejected.
"Hulk is the name of that monster. An accidental product of an experiment, a destructive maniac born from gamma radiation."
"He lives inside my body, watching me intently, ready to pounce. Hulk is keeping a close eye on me, waiting to take control of my body whenever I'm emotionally unstable."
Willy Wonka listened to Banner's words. Now the lurking Hulk had eaten and drunk his fill and was sleeping.
However, judging from Banner's symptoms of neurasthenia, he seems to be suffering quite a bit.
Indeed, Bruce Banner is inherently kind, but the Hulk inevitably causes immense destruction to his surroundings. Dr. Banner lives in constant fear and guilt, and his captivity by the military has left him living a life of hardship.
If Banner can maintain good physical and mental condition under these circumstances, then he is not Dr. Banner, but Captain Banner.
Willy Wonka waited patiently for Banner, who seemed to have not spoken properly to anyone in a long time; nine out of ten of his sentences involved the Hulk.
These things had been weighing on Banner's mind for a long time, causing his response to turn into a heartfelt outpouring, which he couldn't stop.
Banner didn't stop until his throat was dry, realizing he'd talked too much. But it felt good to get it all out.
"I'm Hulk's dad!"
Banner seemed to have heard something unbelievable, and his eyes widened instantly.
He looked suspiciously between Willy Wonka's legs, thinking that if the Hulk was indeed created through the same reproductive method as humans, then his father must have been a great warrior.
However, Banner dismissed the thought after a moment, immediately realizing it was impossible. He vividly remembered the accident that led to the Hulk's birth, as the Hulk was inside him.
Hulk was the product of an experimental accident! ×2
Banner silently repeated it twice in his mind; he already knew Willy Wonka's thoughts.
This despicable guy has the same goal as General Ross: to control the powerful Hulk, but his methods are different.
If he really is Hulk's father, then why ask himself how much he knows about Hulk?
Banner, with his seven doctoral degrees, has already shown that Willy Wonka is no ordinary person.
But Banner still wanted to try to persuade him; he wanted Willy Wonka to know that Hulk wasn't a puppy and wouldn't be so easily tamed.
Willy Wonka seemed to know what Banner was thinking. "Dr. Banner, come with me. There won't be any giant octopuses this time, so don't be afraid."
Banner was taken aback. How did Willy Wonka even know this? He must have been eyeing the Hulk for a long time and had been secretly watching him.
Willy Wonka led Banner a few steps forward and they arrived at the Milk River.
Then the milky white river surface began to change, and some images appeared. The first image was Hulk calling Willy Wonka "Dad".
The scene is changing little by little, from Hulk's initial attempt to speak, to learning to speak from Willy Wonka, and finally to falling asleep again after eating and drinking his fill.
When Willy Wonka first made the record, it was just to keep a memento for later, so that after Hulk "gains his intelligence," he could look back on his journey from complete illiteracy to becoming a normal person.
Unexpectedly, the record came in handy very soon.
Banner was petrified; he stared at Willy Wonka with horrified eyes. "No, you really are Hulk's father! Then how did your child come out of me?!"
