Cyberpunk: I didn't cheat.

Although Jack Wells was a legend in Night City, he wasn't an inexhaustible old man. Vito told him to take a good rest and to take his time finding the man.

Vito called Jack a taxi to the Wild Wolf Bar, while he himself needed to properly study, uh, no, properly repair Little Cha.

Vito called Chal out of the warehouse and told him to wait in the operating room. Chal looked around the strange place with curiosity.

Just as Cha sat down in the operating chair, Vito entered and called out, startling Cha so much that she immediately stood up, thinking that Vito was upset that she had made the operating chair dirty.

"I'll disinfect the operating chair again, so that no blood clots that haven't been cleaned properly will rust your precious parts."

Vito carefully cleaned the chair with an automated robotic arm, then dried it and let Cha lie down on it.

"Relax, it'll be over soon. By the way, are you in pain?"

Xiao Cha shook his head, then nodded.

"If Cha's parts break, Cha will feel uncomfortable; that's probably what pain is."

Vito first found Cha's interface, connected his personal connection, and ran a check on Cha.

Two minutes later.

"Little Cha, it seems like your core is just your head. Did your dad put your chip in your head?"

Little Cha himself didn't know that he had never paid much attention to his body since he was born.

"Little Cha doesn't know, but Little Cha's dad said to protect his head, because that's where he thinks."

"Okay, then I can go all out to repair your body. After you're fixed up, how about you work for me? I'll pay you your regular salary."

As Vito spoke, he helped Cha clean the mixture of sand and oil off his body.

"As long as people don't beat up Xiaocha, Xiaocha will give people jobs."

"I'm not a born violent maniac, why would I hit you? As long as you don't talk like a ghost, we're good friends. My name is Vito, and that big guy is Jack Wells."

Vito's personal connection was attached to the operating chair, and the four robotic arms started simultaneously to repair Cha's damaged body. Vito's own hands also moved up and down, attaching prosthetics to Cha.

"Little Cha, would you like to get a better pair of legs? How about I give you a pair of lynx claws as a gift?"

Little Cha nodded blankly. As long as it didn't get hit, it was fine. Vito's punches and kicks felt like being hit by a sledgehammer.

They worked until almost dawn. Xiao Cha's body was completely transformed. Although his original body was made of new materials, it was badly damaged. Xiao Cha probably blocked a lot of bullets for the Night Wanderer, but the Night Wanderer had no interest in repairing a robot he had picked up.

"Cha, why are all the other robots charging, but you're on patrol?"

Xiao Cha jumped around on the spot, as if she was getting used to her new body.

"Little Cha is saving electricity. The boss told Little Cha to keep watch downstairs at the boss's building and not let anyone who doesn't know their place come up. But Little Cha looked carefully and realized that everyone has eyes."

"All right."

Vito looked at the happy little Cha and suddenly asked a question.

"Little Cha, do you have a gender?"

Xiao Cha stopped, as if he was thinking.

"Yes, Dad said that Cha is his son."

Vito shook his arm, lit a cigarette, took two puffs, looked at the expectant little Cha, lit one for him, and even offered him a light.

"How about I make you a bionic face?"

Cha took a drag on the entire cigarette, his chest steaming as if it were on fire.

"Great, Cha wants a new face."

Vito brought out a tablet and showed Xiao a few photos, letting him choose which one he wanted to look at.

"How about this one? It's a bit old, but it brings wealth."

"No, no, he's a decrepit old man! Little Cha wants to be a young man!"

Vito was somewhat disappointed; it turned out that in Cha's eyes, Saburo Arasaka was just a decrepit old man.

"How about this one? This one is young, and this one will bring wealth."

"No, no, this doesn't look good. I want a face like Vito's."

"Chak, you need to think long-term. My handsomeness is only temporary; this guy named Arasaka Yorinobu's face can bring in money!"

Xiao Cha shook his head again. He was like Sun Wukong seeking instruction on Fangcun Mountain, always saying he wouldn't learn.

Vito handed the tablet to Chase so he could browse the internet and choose his own skin. He then went to the warehouse to see if there were any synthetic skins left to make Chase's face and, while he was at it, to put a layer of skin on him.

When Vito returned carrying a box of synthetic leather, Chapman skipped and hopped as he handed Vito the tablet.

"Little Cha wants this!"

Vito glanced at Chapman, then at the tablet.

Are you sure?

Little Cha chose a poster of Brad Pitt from when he starred in Fight Club; such old items are only found in Vito's tablet.

"You little brat, always calling him 'Little Cha' this and 'Little Cha' that, and you look so out of place with Brad Pitt's face. How about I get you another Pitt, the Pitt from Round Clam Town?"

Finally, at Cha's insistence, Vito replaced his face with that of Brad Pitt at thirty-five.

While the two of them were still busy, Gloria arrived at the clinic. She pushed open the operating room door, saw someone inside, and immediately closed the door.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know there was a patient undergoing surgery."

Vito called out from outside the door.

"It's alright, Gloria, come in. Cha is a robot, and although he's a boy, he won't mind."

Gloria found it strange that a robot would be performing surgery.

Vito helped Chase put on the last piece of synthetic leather, then patted his chest to indicate that he could get up.

"Let me introduce you. This is Chappie, you can call him Chappie. And this lady is Gloria Martinez, you should call her Mrs. Martinez."

Little Cha nodded.

"It's alright, just call me Gloria. Vito, what's wrong?"

Vito briefly told Gloria about recent events, and Gloria marveled at them.

"Alright, Cha, I'm going out to run some errands. Connect to the clinic's computer and download how to fix a car."

After saying goodbye to Gloria, Vito contacted Romano and the two arranged to meet in the old apartment area on South Pine Street.

Upon meeting, Romano eagerly asked for the data, and Vito handed him the external disk chip along with its box.

"Honestly, Vito, I really think you're a genius!"

He excitedly read the data.

"For the people of Night City to know the truth, I'm willing to endure hardship, toil in this barren land, eat sand, take bullets from night owls, and be hit by stun grenades from government-wanted criminals—it's nothing!"

Romano put away the external drive.

"I understand, Vito, your efforts have not been in vain!"

After saying that, Romano transferred an extra 10,000 euros to Vito in addition to the commission fee.

Vito whistled.

"Wuhu, to be honest, Romano, are you neighbors with Steel Dragon or something? Your orders are much better than the market average."

Romano ignored Vito's teasing, hurriedly said goodbye, got into his car, and went home to analyze the data.

Vito also sent a message to Liying, asking her to come downstairs.
