Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds: The Path of Evolution

The two steel blades spun rapidly, transforming into a black storm of sword blades that swept towards the monster that was the Kanpaku.

"Activate a Trap Card, Flip the World!"

"The ATK and DEF of all monsters on the field are swapped!"

"What?!"

Lunshan Qing's eyes were filled with disbelief and the frustration of being outmaneuvered!

Why would there be such a trap set for him?!

But the duel will not change according to his will.

The card from the Reverse World was raised, and a white light flashed throughout the entire duel arena. The powers of the Square Dragon, the Dual Blade Master, and the Ghoul Slave were all affected, undergoing incredible changes!

[Four-star] 2000/200→200/2000

[Nuclear-based Corpse-Eating Slave]

[Five-star] 2500/1800 → 1800/2500

Now, the dual-wielding Nuclear Blade Master has no way to break through the Square Dragon!

"Charge! Phalanx Dragon, shield parry!"

With a wave of his hand, Guan Bai immediately understood the implication of the formation of dragons.

The moment the dual-wielding swordsman drew his sword, he used his shield to knock the long sword in the sword's left hand away, sending it crashing directly into the D-Wheel of Rinyama Ao.

【Lunshanqing LP: 4000→3700】

"Cough... Damn it!"

Having suffered damage to his base score, Lun Shanqing's face hardened, and he immediately ordered the ghoul slaves to launch an attack.

"Damn it, you ghoul slaves, break through this phalanx dragon formation!"

The decaying bones emitted a plume of black smoke, which landed directly on the dragon formation, shattering it!

However, because it was a defensive role, the Kanpaku did not suffer any basic point loss.

Lun Shanqing originally wanted to kill the dueling assassin in one go, but after this round of fighting, he did not get the result he wanted at all!

He angrily stuffed a card into Wheel D.

"Activate High-Speed Spell - Downshift! Remove all six High-Speed Counters, and I draw two cards from my deck!"

[Kanpaku SPC: 3] [Wayama Ao SPC: 7→1]

Due to the reduction in highway indicators, Wheel Mountain Green's D-wheel, which was far ahead, slowed down!

"Then cover both cards to end the phase."

"The effect of the Nuclear Twinsword on the field is that I need to reveal the Nuclear Lord in my hand, otherwise it will be destroyed."

This is the second characteristic of core-based decks.

At the end of each turn, each monster requires its controller to discard the steel core of the nucleus or reveal a monster of the same species.

If the conditions are not met, they will automatically break!

"Because I don't have a Steel Core of the Nucleus Beast or a Zombie-type monster in my hand, I destroyed the Nucleus Ghoul Slave."

The core of the ghoul trembled erratically as it struggled to survive, but to no avail; it decayed along the way.

"My turn... is over..."

When he said this, Lunshan Qing's face was contorted with clenched teeth.

Originally, thanks to the high speed brought by the six indicators, his D-wheel had already widened the gap between him and the Duel Killer by two car lengths.

But now, the sharp drop in SPC has inevitably slowed down his D-wheel!

Meanwhile, Duel Killer D-Wheel has caught up!

"My turn, draw a card."

[Kanpaku SPC: 3→4] [Wayama Ao SPC: 1→2]

In Kanpaku's turn, due to the increase in high-speed indicators, his D-Wheel has caught up with Lunshan Qing's D-Wheel!

"Normal Summoning: Dragoon Legion!"

The Iron-Wrist Warrior, adorned with golden arm guards, flew out of the dimensional gate, flapping his emerald wings and soaring above Kanpaku.

"When a Legion is successfully summoned, you can choose to equip the Square Dragon from your Graveyard as an Equipment Card!"

"Then, activate the effect of Dragoon Legion! Send the equipped Phalanx Dragon to the Graveyard and destroy one face-up monster on the field."

"I'll destroy your nuclear dual-wielding hands!"

The dragon in the square formation leaped up and transformed into a thick spear in the hand of the legion's powerful arm.

The legion spun around, flicked its wrist, and its entire arm transformed into a long, whip-like phantom! The phalanx dragon shot out, directly piercing through the body of the dual-wielder!

boom!

The smoke and dust from the explosion spread between the two vehicles, leaving two long, narrow trails.

The opponent coughed awkwardly, but Kanpaku was definitely in high spirits!

"Then, activate the high-speed magic - Illusionary Wind!"

"I can activate this skill when I have two or more Speed Counters: Special Summon a Level 2 or lower monster from my Graveyard!"

"Resurrect, Phalanx Dragon!"

"I will combine the Tier 3 Dragon Rider Legion with the Tier 2 Dragon Rider Phalanx!"

"Steel beasts that vanquish the insect plague, cleave through evil, and spread justice throughout the planet!"

"Summon Synchro Summon, Allied Forces of Justice - Cataclysm!!"

A black beam of light descended from the sky, exploding into huge sparks on the road behind Lunshan Qing!

A golden iron blade emerged from the sparks, striking the ground and creating a huge crater.

As the smoke dissipated, the golden mechanical single eye of the entire calamity insect stared intently at Lunshan Qing, its four limbs moving rapidly, allowing this behemoth to pursue the enemy at an incredible speed!

The Planet leaped high up on a slope of an abandoned road. Kanpaku turned around and, from his vantage point, declared an attack on Rinzan Ao.

"Disaster Insects, direct attack! Absolute justice trampled!"

The giant iron worm chasing behind Lunshan Qing raised its double-bladed legs and stomped hard into the ground.

The earth trembled, and the destructive dark light followed the crack, instantly meeting Lunshan Qing's D-Wheel, and then exploding!

"Aaaaaah!!"

The huge loss of fundamental points caused D-Wheel to emit a violent electric shock, and Lun Shanqing screamed in agony, completely losing his composure!

The massive impact collided with the D-wheel, and the sudden deceleration and the pain coursing through his body tormented Lunshan Qing.

He looked at the dueling assassin who was about to completely surpass him, and his heart was filled with rage.

Instead of controlling the stalled D-wheel, he suddenly steered the dragon head towards Guan Bai!

Heh, wanna try out a Rash Motorbike ride before the speed drops?

Then the regent has no choice but to oblige!

Twist the grip to accelerate directly.

The Planet, with its agile maneuverability, quickly turned and narrowly avoided the dragon head of the Wheel Mountain.

"Damn it, you better fight back properly!"

Lunshan Qing still refused to give up, and forcibly used the last speed of his D-wheel to crash into Guan Bai once again!

Hmph, overestimating yourself!

Guan Bai simply presses the button on the left side of the D wheel.

The second cutting-edge technology equipped on the Planet is the counter-attack high-pressure fog!

The Planet's exhaust vents instantly increased pressure, spewing out a massive amount of impactful smoke. The straight white mist exploded into a blur on Lunshan Qing's face!

"What is that?!"

He couldn't see anything and was shouting uncontrollably.

"Ha, since you want violence, I'll give you violence in return!!"

Guan Bai kicked Lun Shanqing's D-wheel hard.

The force wasn't great, but for a D-wheel traveling at high speed and still decelerating, it was a huge disruption to its balance!

Unable to control the dragon's head, Lun Shanqing plunged headfirst into the scrap metal on the side of the street.

A series of collisions caused the scrap metal pile to explode like water being bombed, sending huge waves flying and various parts soaring into the sky!

Amidst the sickening creaking of twisting steel, Lun Shanqing struggled to emerge from the scrap metal and return to the road.

His shoulder was already bruised, and the D-wheel beneath him was scratched and damaged in several places by scrap metal.

Lunshan Qing roared angrily.

"Damn it... I'll teach you a lesson you won't forget!!"

Even at this point, he doesn't feel fear; he's truly a first-rate brute.

Hunting is much more interesting with prey like this!

Guan Bai laughed hoarsely as he turned the handle of the Planet.

"I'd be happy to oblige!!"

"Set one card down, my turn ends!"

The moment the two D-wheeled vehicles sped around the next bend, Lunshan Qing drew a card.

"My turn!"
