Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds: The Path of Evolution

"Activate a Trap Card, Flip the World!"

"Exchange the ATK and DEF of all face-up monsters on the field!"

The white light overwhelmed the golden divine light of the sun and shone on the core of the Epsilon machine.

Its parts changed, and the golden ring on its back rotated 180 degrees.

【Epsilon Grand Sun】

[Eight Stars] 3400/1200 → 1800/2800

Inoue Maki continued to operate, as if all the changes on the field were irrelevant to him.

"Battle Phase"

"Epsilon the Great Sun, a direct attack on the enemy."

"The great sun purifies the light."

【Epsilon Grand Sun】

[Eight Stars] 1800/2800 → 2800/1800

Epsilon raised its arms, and the golden ring behind it rose up and began to spin rapidly along with its movement.

A golden light flashed and instantly arrived in front of Guan Bai!

Kanpaku got into position, supporting himself with his right leg and using his right hand to brace against the duel disk on his left arm!

"boom!!"

……

A golden beam of light shot into the sky, completely destroying the top floor of the building.

The shockwave from the explosion sent rubble and bricks flying in all directions, turning into a rain of stones that fell across the entire stronghold.

Izayoi quickly unleashed her power to withstand the crisis that was descending from the sky.

A rose-red, transparent ripple spread out above her head, deflecting all the flying stones.

Even so, she was still amazed by the power of this force.

This power is clearly of the same origin as the power that manipulates the minions before me!

And it's definitely stronger than a duel of one's own will.

Unless she uses the power of the forbidden mark on her arm, she simply cannot match him!

The duel above has actually gotten this intense!

Can the person who got there first withstand such an offensive?

……

Grey Snake Studio.

Top floor.

Joel was sweating profusely as he stared at the beam of light in the direction of the Gear Gang.

"Can't get in touch... No way, could something have happened to Kanpaku?!"

She quickly contacted Alan and Yanwuxin.

He hurriedly went downstairs, running towards the garage while contacting Allen and the others to discuss the current situation.

"You absolutely can't get hurt..."

He hurriedly got into the car and stepped on the gas.

……

Duel arena.

Guan Bai was thrown out by the enormous impact and slammed hard into the light wall at the boundary of the barrier.

Fortunately, he adjusted his posture in mid-air, otherwise he would probably have fallen and coughed up blood by now.

Even so, he still feels terrible.

A dull ache emanated from his internal organs, and the creaking of his bones reached his ears, making Guan Bai feel even more dizzy.

The power of the Epsilon Sun is too great; even after removing the impact of energy damage, it still possesses immense power.

[Kanpaku LP: 3400 → 600]

Ultimately, the recluse's body was transmigrated.

His physique is no match for the Iron Men of the Yu-Gi-Oh! world!

He almost couldn't withstand the attack and was nearly eliminated from the game due to the damage from the Dark Game!

But in the end, they pulled through.

Next up is the Kanpaku's turn!

"My turn... draw a card!"

Taking a deep breath, Guan Bai managed to pull his attention away from the pain and soreness in his body.

He put the card he drew into the duel disk.

"Normal Summoning, Dragoon Regiment - Commander!"

This is one of the earliest core cards of the Dragoon, the starting point of Synchro Summoning!

"Activate the Commander's effect to equip the Phalanx Dragon from the Graveyard!"

"Its attack power will increase by 200 times the number of Dragon Knight cards on the field."

White wings unfurled from the dimensional gate, and the commander, clad in a battle skirt, wielded a command whip, swiftly landing on the battlefield.

The emerald on his chest was particularly striking, and his red eyes beneath his helmet shone with sharpness.

【Dragon Rider Regiment - Commander】

【Effect】

[Birds and Beasts/Wind]

[Four-star] 1500/1000→1900/1000

"Then there's the effect of the Square Dragon; as an Equip Card, it can be Special Summoned directly onto the field."

【Dragon Riders - Phalanx Dragon Formation】

[Effects/Adjustments]

【Dragon/Phoenix】

[Two-star] 500/1100

Now, it's time for Synchro Summoning!

Guan Bai pointed his full attention to the sky, and the commander and the square dragons soared into the heavens at his command!

"I'll add a level four Dragon Rider Regiment Commander to my level two Phalanx Dragon Formation!"

"Synchronized Summon, Dragon Rider Knight - Thunder Lancer Dragon Knight!"

The dragon formation transformed into two cyan halos in the air. The commander flapped his wings, passed through them, and became a bolt of cyan lightning!

A deafening burst of lightning exploded in the sky, and a crimson dragon emerged from the green pillar of light.

Dragon claws, wings, and a dragon head—the knight rides a raging crimson dragon as it swoops down from the sky!

【Dragon Rider Knight - Thunder Lance Dragon Knight】

【Effect/Synchronization】

【Dragon/Phoenix】

[Six-star] 1900/1200

"I activate the effect of Thunderlance Dragon Knight, equipping the Small Javelin Dragon from the graveyard!"

Guan Bai waved his right hand.

"Then, he activates his second special ability, sending his equipped Javelin Dragon to the graveyard, where its attack power is doubled until the end of the turn!!"

The azure lightning that was wrapped around the Thunder Spear Dragon Knight instantly expanded, transforming into thousands of crimson electric snakes that coiled around the tip of the knight's spear, forming a giant spiral!

【Dragon Rider Knight - Thunder Lance Dragon Knight】

[Six-Star] 1900/1200 → 3800/1200

A mechanical shock finally appeared on Inoue Masayuki's stiff face.

The thunder of this powerful dragon knight surprised even the Great Sun Spirit who was controlling Inoue from behind!

Even that mechanized mind was subdued by the crimson lightning wrapped around the thunder spear!

"Finally, there's the effect of the Small Javelin Dragon: when you send it to the graveyard as equipment, it can directly destroy your Epsilon's Great Sun!"

The phantom of the Little Javelin Dragon flew out from the ground, transforming into a transparent bolt of lightning that pierced directly through the body of the Epsilon Sun!

The powerful force within Epsilon was no longer restrained and exploded, transforming into countless stars in the sky.

Controlled by the Great Sun Spirit, Inoue Maki even forgot to calculate the Great Sun equipment and stared blankly at the lightning spear about to land in the sky!

All obstacles have been removed; the moment of execution has arrived!

"Battle Phase!"

Guan Bai waved his hand.

"Thunder Spear Dragon Knight, direct attack! Crimson Lightning Pierce!"

The thunder that resounded through the sky transformed into the sharp cries of thousands of birds. The Thunder Spear Dragon Knight swooped down at top speed, his body stretched into a long, narrow thunder spear!

"boom!!"

Lightning exploded above Inoue Maki's head, colliding with the golden light barrier and instantly causing a secondary impact on everything around!

[Inoue Machi LP: 2400→0]

This building will never have a fifth floor again.

Guan Bai wiped away a bead of cold sweat.

As expected of a dark game, the realistic impact is truly terrifying...

Fortunately, the ground was protected by a barrier, and it did not collapse due to the explosion.

Kanpaku walked over to Inoue Maki and, as usual, pulled out his deck.

He looked through the deck of cards in the well.

Most of the cards are from a component deck configuration, with only a few large Japanese cards.

Unfortunately, he used all of these techniques in this game.

As expected of a duel controlled by a spirit.

Kanpaku picked up the Epsilon Great Sun card from the Inoue Duel Disk and was about to put it in his bag and leave.

A sudden change has occurred!

Golden light emanated from the card, and a strange fantasy unfolded before Kanpaku!

He saw the satellite district's coastline littered with scrap metal, and the turbulent sea with its rolling waves!
