Chapter 301 Good News: The Emperor's Angel Has Arrived; Bad News: The Gray Knight Has Arrived
Two flowers bloom.
Just as Ye Feng, Taylor, and Ouyang headed straight for the place of Apostle rebirth, a mysterious and powerful fleet was gathering outside the planet Catachan.
Deep in Qatar, in a human settlement, a large wooden stilt house, the sound of a telephone ringing incessantly.
"Reporting to the Elder, over a hundred combat ships have appeared directly opposite our planet! These ships are entirely gray with mysterious patterns; their chapter insignia and flags are illegible, and we cannot determine their origin!"
"Reporting to the elders! The other side refuses to disclose the purpose of their mission, and even slanders us as heretics, telling us to mind our own business!"
"Elder, what should we do?"
Inside the stilt house command center in Katachon, several robust elderly men dressed in simple coarse cloth sat in a group.
Between them was a miniature three-dimensional coordinate space map of the planet Katachon.
Katachon, one of the most dangerous planets in the Warhammer universe, is larger than the planetary level. It is no exaggeration to call it a supergiant. In fact, the combined mass of all the planets in the entire solar system is not as large as Katachon!
On this giant planet, less than one ten-thousandth of the area has traces of human activity, while the remaining nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine ten-thousandths is completely wild.
On such a planet, let alone maintaining a rule, it would be very difficult to even establish a foothold.
When faced with outsiders, the indigenous people of Katachan mostly adopt a "come on, everyone come and have fun!" attitude. Katachan's main focus is on warm hospitality and making guests feel right at home!
If you dare to come, we'll bury you alive in Qatar!
Where are the green hills that don't bury people? Let's all contribute to the fertile soil of Qatar!
At this moment, the faces of the old men showed no fear or worry, only a calm and indifferent attitude that came from having seen through life and death. They drank tea while looking at the second-hand monitors they had bought, on which the image of Ye Feng, the God of Platinum, was still repeating.
The elder with the thick white beard at the head of the group said, "The silver-gray spaceship has no markings whatsoever; it seems the Emperor's angels have arrived."
A tall, thin elder chuckled, "With the Platinum King appearing in Katachon and the Blood Ravens gathering here, how could the Inquisition possibly remain indifferent?"
At that moment, a loud and cheerful male voice came from outside the door: "Good news, the Emperor's angels have arrived, we are saved! Bad news, the Emperor sent the Grey Knights, everyone is saved!"
The door to the elders' command room was pushed open, and a tough-looking man walked in.
He wasn't very tall, just over 1.8 meters, with a square face and angry eyes. He had short hair, a bronze complexion, broad shoulders, a thick back, and a sturdy torso like a forged steel billet. His arm muscles, in particular, were muscular, with lines like coiled dragons and distinct bulges. His skin was covered with crisscrossing shallow scars, each scar like a medal showing off his past achievements.
He wore a black tight-fitting vest on his upper body, black tactical trousers and alligator boots commonly seen in the Empire on his lower body, and a short-barreled Ripper explosive gun hung at his waist. He looked like a ferocious king of beasts as he stood in front of the indigenous elders.
The Grand Elder looked at the tough man before him, rose to welcome him, and said, "Look who's back! Our hero, the one-man army, Sly Marbo, is back!"
Sly Marbo glanced at the map of the planet Katachon. "The Grey Knights of the Imperial Inquisition have appeared outside the planet. Are they targeting us? Or the Blood Ravens?"
The elder shook his head and said, "Neither."
Ma Bo looked at the Grand Elder. "Who is that?"
The Grand Elder paced back and forth, saying, "The King of Platinum, or rather, the Necromancer of Space."
Marbo's grey-blue pupils gleamed. "Don't the elders think that the Platinum King is a match for the Inquisition?"
The Grand Elder laughed, "I don't know, and neither does the Inquisition. That's why the Inquisition hovered above us instead of directly descending to the Blood Raven Legion's coordinates to declare war on them!"
Marbo paced back and forth. "Does the Elder mean the Inquisition wants to involve us in the fight against Blood Raven? Against the Platinum King?"
The Grand Elder did not speak, but simply raised his hand in a gesture.
Marbo's ears twitched slightly as he keenly heard footsteps outside the door.
Ma Bo walked to a side seat, sat down quietly, and waited patiently for the arrival of the distinguished guest.
A short while later, a solemn and dignified voice came from outside the door: "Alvan Stern, Acting Grand Master of the Holy Hammer Association and Knights of Judgment of the Imperial Inquisition, pays respects to the Grand Elder, leader of the native people of Katachon!"
The Grand Elder waved his sleeve and said, "Please come in!"
The door opened, and two giant gray cans, each five meters tall, walked in. They were dressed in silver-gray ceramic armor, with anti-demon runes engraved on the armor in obscure inscriptions. They were equipped with Holy Shield Power Armor on the outside and Terminator Armor inside. They also carried Nemesis Power Axe on their backs and Storm Bomb Guns at their waists.
Behind the two large gray cans stood a man dressed in a silver-gray robe.
The Grey Knights Chapter, a star chapter selected from millions, differs from the Golden Guard only in that they are mass-produced and operate in the grey area, making their combat power unimaginable.
The chapter leader of the Grey Knights was Kaldor Draigo, but unfortunately he was banished to the warp and his whereabouts remain unknown.
The Grey Knights only has an acting commander, Arvann Stern, the Brotherhood's Company Commander. He is a powerful psionicist skilled in psionic combat and command.
Stern walked into the conference room, his eyes sweeping over Sleimabo, who was sitting to the side.
Sleimabo glanced at Stern out of the corner of his eye with a mixture of warning and mockery.
Stern didn't interact much with the legendary hero, but instead looked at the Grand Elder and said, "It's been a long time. It's a pleasure to see that the Grand Elder is still so healthy."
The Grand Elder laughed, "In Katachon, if you're not strong, you'll become nourishment! What brings the Empire's angels to Katachon? I remember the Empire exempts Katachon from taxes!"
"Of course," Stern said. "The Empire treats Katachon as a tax-free star region, and I'm not here for tax matters. As for why I'm here, the Grand Elder should understand."
The elder said, "If you only want to capture the Platinum King, you've come to the wrong place. We have no grudges against Blood Raven or the Platinum King, and we will not deploy our forces to deal with them because of you."
Beneath the psionic cloak, Stern chuckled, "I understand, but I must tell the Grand Elder that the Platinum King is about to destroy Katachon, destroy your homeland. Do you want to watch your homeland be destroyed?"
The Elder said coldly, "Stern, you are a psionicist, and psionicists are cunning individuals. Are you plotting against Katachon?"
“No, I didn’t have any schemes,” Stern said. “I’m just telling the Grand Elder and Slymabo a fact: the Platinum King somehow got involved with the space necromancer Taylor.”
"The reason why Taylor, as a space necromancer, did not stay in the graveyard but appeared in Katachon is because there is a Star God in Katachon, a powerful Star God, who has merged with the original will of Katachon."
"Taylor is carrying out the orders of the Silent King Szalak to destroy the Star God, and the Platinum King will be his assistant."
"If the Star God is destroyed, Katachon's primordial will will be erased, and then this planet will cease to exist!"
"The Grey Knights came to Catachan to help you, to help you fight against the invasion and destruction by the Platinum King and the Space Necromancers!"
The elder asked warily, "Why should I believe what you're saying is true?"
Stern stood up. "You may not believe it, or you may stand idly by and watch Katachon's destruction, but the Grey Knights don't care whether Katachon exists or not. We will patiently wait in outer space until Katachon is destroyed, then we will descend to slay the Blood Ravens, the Platinum King, and even the Space Necromancers!"
"That's all, my message has been delivered."
"The choice is up to you, Elders."
Stern turned to leave, and the two five-meter-tall gray cans turned and followed him away.
The Grand Elder said, "Please wait. For the sake of Katachon, perhaps we can discuss how to deal with the Platinum King and the Space Necromancer."
