Su Mo and the others were taken by Doctor Fate to an outpost in a magical pocket—the Forgotten Bar.

The golden portal closed silently in the dim space, and everyone stepped onto the rough wooden floor, the surrounding light as if filtered through a layer of old gauze.

The liquor cabinet was filled with all kinds of liquor bottles, faded black and white portraits hung on the walls, and the air was filled with the mixed smell of malt and tobacco.

"Where is this?" Green Arrow and Nightwing asked simultaneously, their eyes scanning the dimly lit corners.

"This is the only safe place in the universe," said Dr. Fate, tapping his cane lightly on the ground with a dull thud.

Su Mo's gaze passed over several empty round tables and landed on the man wiping glasses behind the bar.

His hair was thinning, he was wearing an old-fashioned blue bodysuit, and he had a gentle smile on his face. Su Mo walked up to the bar and said, "Boss, you must be Master Dark Night. I've heard so much about you."

Master Darkness looked up, the wine bottle in his hand reflecting an amber light under the lamp, and laughed, "Haha, you flatter me, welcome."

The Forgotten Bar is filled with superheroes, all of whom were rescued by Doctor Fate from the giant power-generating pillars in various cities.

Those colossal pillars erode human bodies with dark energy, plunging them into endless nightmares and extracting crisis energy from them to nourish Barbatos.

The Flash took the unconscious Cyborg from Green Arrow's arms, Aquaman carried Raven, and the two quickly headed towards the treatment room on the second floor of the bar.

Su Mo was still chatting with Master Dark Night. The two talked about Master Dark Night's past, his adventures in the magic world when he was young, and how he grew from a wandering mage to the master of this space and another magic world.

A gorilla sat on a high stool at the bar, his glass half empty. He raised it, downed it in one gulp, smacked his lips, and turned to Su Mo: "Hey, buddy, want a drink?"

Su Mo smiled and shook his head. He didn't like the taste of alcohol, and he was allergic to it.

"Ha, I know, you must be allergic to alcohol." Bobo the gorilla put down his glass and tapped his temple with his index finger.

As the world's second smartest detective and the world's number one animal detective, he accurately deduced the result from Su Mo's expressions, micro-movements, and subconscious reactions when she refused.

Su Mo glanced at him. This gorilla must be Bobo.

In the original storyline, Polnareff and Master Darkness stayed behind at the Forgotten Bar to cover their retreat. Master Darkness heroically sacrificed himself, while Polnareff was rescued by the super gorilla hero from Earth-53.

He leaned close to Bobo's ear and whispered, "Bobo, it won't be long before Master Darkness sacrifices himself. Do you want to change all of this?"

Bobo's body stiffened abruptly. He quickly grabbed Su Mo's sleeve, leaned closer, and whispered, "What do we do?"

He didn't ask "why." As the second smartest detective in the world, he knew better than anyone that Barbatos's henchmen would find this place sooner or later, and that the Master of the Night would stay behind to cover their retreat.

Su Mo thought for a moment and said softly, "Bobo, trust me, when the time comes, you blindfold Master Dark Night, and I'll knock him out and take him away."

Bobo's eyes darted around, her hands unconsciously clutching the hem of her clothes, starting to rub them together without her noticing. "This...isn't this a bit inappropriate?"

"Do you want to see Master Dark Night die?" Su Mo asked seriously.

Bobo fell silent. He lowered his head, looking at the crumpled corner of his clothes. After a moment, he nodded heavily.

Su Mo smiled slightly, patted Bobo on the shoulder, and then turned and walked towards the guest rooms on the second floor of the bar.

To be honest, he had been traveling around Gotham for several days and hadn't slept much.

Doctor Fate hasn't rescued Superman and the others yet, so he's taking this opportunity to rest. He closes the door to his room behind him, shutting out the noisy whispers downstairs.

the next day.

Su Mo woke up, rubbed her eyes, and went downstairs. The bar was much livelier now. Steelbone sat at the bar, the indicator lights on his mechanical body flashing green rhythmically. Raven sat next to him, purple magical energy flickering at her fingertips.

"Mr. Su, thank you very much." Steelbone spoke first, his voice sincere.

Su Mo laughed, "No need to thank me, Cyborg. Your role is even more important than you imagined. Can you sense the Mother Box inside you? It's the key to defeating Barbatos. The Mother Box is the Genesis Metal—X Metal. Study it carefully."

Cyborg closed his eyes and began to sense the Mother Box within his body. To be honest, he had never figured out anything about the Mother Box, and he fell into deep thought.

Su Mo nodded and turned to Raven.

Raven clasped his hands in front of him, his purple hood obscuring half his face, and asked politely, "Mr. Su Mo, is there anything you want to say to me?"

Su Mo pondered for a moment before speaking, "Raven, the Bat of Laughter likely wants the Dark Trinity magic within you. Be careful."

He paused, then asked, "And how did so many of you get captured by the Bat Who Laughs?"

Raven's face flushed slightly. She lowered her head, her purple hair falling down to obscure her eyes. She said softly, "The others from the Laughing Gas Bomb Titan were captured instantly, except for me and Mr. Killer Croc. But Barbatos's power kept interfering with me, so we were captured."

Su Mo sighed, "So that's how it is? The invincible Raven has fallen. Oh well, Raven's still a teenager, it's understandable."

He looked up at Bobo, who was wiping the table at the bar, and asked, "Where's Doctor Fate? And the Flash and Wonder Woman?"

Bobo stopped wiping the cloth he was wiping, looked up and said, "They went to rescue Superman."

As soon as he finished speaking, a golden bolt of lightning flashed through the bar, exploding into a ring of tiny sparks in the air.

The Flash, Barry, bursts out of the light, carrying on his back a man in a blue bodysuit—Superman.

Superman had blood trickling from the corner of his mouth, and the skin around his mouth was bruised and purple, clearly indicating that he had been injured.

"Barry, where is this?" Superman got off the Flash's back, his feet making a soft thud on the wooden floor, and looked around at the unfamiliar faces in confusion.

The Flash, Barry, quickly explained: This is the Forgotten Bar, a safe outpost in the Magic Pocket. Doctor Fate and Mr. Excellence worked together to open a portal using the N-metal link, summoning heroes scattered across the land here.

"I still don't understand, Aquaman." Superman turned to Aquaman, who was standing in the corner, his brows furrowed. "I've only been unconscious for a few days, but you all look completely defeated, and the outside is a mess. How did you all end up like this?"

Aquaman Arthur stood leaning against the wall, his beard unkempt, hair disheveled, and face etched with exhaustion. His voice was low and hoarse: "Superman, it's simple. We lost. Barbatos and his Dark Legion were too strong."

Su Mo took over, his tone tinged with helplessness: "Although I had already dealt with the Dawn Lantern, the Destroyer, and the Red Death Demon on my own, there are just too many worlds in the Dark Multiverse."

The Batman Who Laughs has added three more Nightmare Batmen, and we are being pushed back by the endless army of darkness.

He spread his hands, having barely managed to save Cyborg from them with all his might, but he had done virtually no harm to them. And since X-metal couldn't be exposed prematurely, Earth fell.

"More cities may fall tonight." Nightwing stepped out from the crowd, a bandage still wrapped around his forehead. "Every time the Nightmare Knights conquer a place, they build a human tower, using the living as conductors of dark energy."

Superman clenched his fist, his knuckles cracking, and said in a deep, powerful voice, "We need to fight back!"

"That's right! Resist!" Green Arrow drew an arrow from his waist and stuck it on the bar counter, the dark silver patterns on the arrowhead gleaming slightly under the light.

He pointed to the bloodstains left on the arrowhead, "We need to collect N metal; only N metal can fight them."

Doctor Fate raised his hands, and golden magical light overflowed from his palms, condensing into a three-dimensional star map in the air.

The points of light slowly rotated in the darkness, outlining the shape of the Earth and several shimmering marks.

"I can sense that there are still the last N metal deposits remaining, through Steel Bone's hammer, my helmet, and Rubber Man's eggshell. Dark energy seems to have created a connection, linking the remaining N metal with other reactive metals on Earth."

Mr. Zhuoyue squatted on the ground, holding a rubber doll's eggshell in his hands. The surface of the eggshell was covered with fine golden patterns and was vibrating slightly.

"Fate is right, the rubber man's eggshell is vibrating, transmitting coordinates." He put his ear to the eggshell, listened carefully, and wrote it down.

Superman walked to the bar, his gaze sweeping over everyone present. The bewilderment he had felt when he first woke up from his coma was gone from his face; instead, there was a familiar, reassuring determination on his face.

He slammed his fist on the table, his voice booming and clear like the tolling of a bell: "Then let's go collect N metal."
