Alien invasion? Luckily, I'm Superman.

Chapter 75 Superb Enjoyment of Kryptonite

Seeing Cyborg lying on the ground, everyone involuntarily moved slightly away from Batman. Although Batman did all this for the safety of the Earth, the way he did it still sent chills down their spines.

Batman knelt down in front of Cyborg, reached out and lifted Cyborg's eyelids to check his pupil response, and then examined the still sparking interfaces on his mechanical body.

"Mars Manhunter, take Cyborg to Star Labs. Have his father, Dr. Stone, replace his mechanical body." Batman stood up, his voice deep and calm. He had it under control; Cyborg was only unconscious. Although his mechanical parts had been destroyed by the virus, Victor's physical body was still alive, just stunned by the intense electric current that had just erupted.

Martian Manhunter Jones shrugged, bent down, and hoisted Cyborg's unconscious body onto his shoulder. "Okay, Batman. I'll take him there."

Martian Manhunter paused, his red eyes fixed on Earth through the window, his tone growing more serious. "Be careful. I can sense that the Crime Syndicate has brought in a prisoner even more powerful than Superman. But for some reason, he seems to be imprisoned. I can feel intense resentment."

"A prisoner? A prisoner brought in by the Crime Syndicate... that must be Alexander Luthor, the Luthor counterpart from the other world. That guy can extract the superpowers of Death Heroes; his abilities are truly overpowered. If it weren't for his transformation phrase being 'Zanza,' and the fact that he can de-transform simply by matching the voice, it would have been really difficult to handle according to the original comic book storyline."

Su Mo recalled the plot of the comic "Eternal Evil," pondered for a moment, and then said, "Be careful of the prisoner that the Martian hunter mentioned. He can absorb the superpowers of killed heroes or criminals, so try not to be alone."

Su Mo paused, then continued, "Also, Superman's counterpart in that universe, Superman, can absorb Kryptonite to become stronger, but he's afraid of sunlight. We could try using artificial sunlight. Batman, you should have a device in your Batcave that can emit sunlight, right? As they say, Batman always has a plan."

Batman's signature disapproving gaze immediately shot towards Su Mo, but he did not deny it. Instead, he silently prepared to advance the plan to counter Su Mo's Bat Armor by a few levels.

Superman, standing to the side, couldn't help but smugly smile at Batman's discomfiture. But after Batman's gaze swept over him, he immediately straightened his expression.

"Ahem." Superman cleared his throat. "Alright, Justice League—let's go!"

Martian Manhunter immediately shouldered his steel skeleton, floated in the air, and headed towards the sonic boom tunnel of the watchtower. A flash of blue light, and he was teleported to Midtown, heading towards the Star Labs.

Batman rapidly scanned global signals using his satellites, monitoring the Crime Syndicate's movements. When the camera cut to Gotham City, his brow furrowed sharply. Without a word, he tossed his cape and strode towards the sonic boom tunnel. A flash of light, and Batman vanished in the direction of Gotham.

Su Mo noticed Batman's unusual reaction and made a mental calculation. In every major event, either Superman, Batman, or the Flash were sacrificed first; this time, he needed to take precautions. He quietly slipped to Superman's side and tugged at the corner of Superman's red cape.

"Superman, you go with Batman," Su Mo said in a low voice. "Leaving Bruce alone might cause problems. You know, this isn't the first time."

After a pause, Su Mo continued, "Also, you should have Lex Luthor's contact information, right? We might need him in the upcoming battle. No matter what method you use, you have to bring him here."

Superman was about to leave when he felt his cape being tugged. Turning around, he saw Su Mo moving stealthily and couldn't help but feel curious. After listening to Su Mo's words, he nodded and said seriously, "Okay, Su Mo, I'll keep up with Batman, don't worry. And Luthor—I'll ask him to come and help."

One by one, members of the Justice League left the Watchtower, forming various teams to stop the Crime Syndicate's global operations. Superman took one last look at Su Mo before flying out of the Watchtower as well. Su Mo was left alone in the vast Watchtower.

Su Mo silently took out a USB drive from his pocket, plugged it into the main control panel of the watchtower, and began to quickly copy various data and technologies stored on the space station. The progress bar on the holographic screen jumped rapidly, copying everything from the biological database to weapon blueprints to the sonic boom channel.

Just as Su Mo was copying the data, a figure that looked exactly like Superman suddenly appeared on the watchtower's surveillance screen—Superman.

In the scene, he is bursting into Lex Luthor's corporate building. His blue uniform has a dull sheen under the lights, and the logo on his chest is not an S, but a twisted U.

Luther's private forces reacted swiftly. They carried specially made rifles, magazines loaded with kryptonite shards. The green bullets gleamed eerily in the dimly lit corridor. They pulled the triggers, unleashing a dense barrage of bullets upon the Superpower.

Superpower didn't dodge. He swiftly reached out, his hands moving like a phantom, precisely catching each kryptonite bullet aimed at him. He crushed the green fragments one by one, bringing them to his nose and letting them pass deep into his lungs.

Green smoke billowed from his nostrils and mouth as he closed his eyes, a satisfied expression on his face. He shoved the remaining kryptonite fragments into his mouth, crunching and swallowing them like candy. Instantly, his muscles bulged, veins stood out, and his eyes emitted an even more intense red light.

"What a wonderful feeling." Superba slowly opened his eyes, a satisfied smile on his lips. Then that smile turned into a ferocious grin. "But you bunch of idiots, you actually thought you could stop me? Die!"

His blue figure transformed into a bolt of lightning, swiftly traversing the narrow corridor. Each person he passed exploded into a cloud of blood mist. In less than two seconds, Luther's entire private army vanished, leaving only dark red bloodstains on the ground and the lingering stench of blood in the air.

Superpower strode up to the safe. The metal door was like paper in front of him. He smashed the glass shield with a punch, reached inside with both hands, grabbed the heavy alloy safe door, and tore it apart with force.

The metal emitted a piercing groan as the safety door was torn in two and slammed to the ground with a crash. He casually tossed the remaining metal fragments aside, then, a greedy smile spread across his face as he looked at the piece of kryptonite glowing green inside the safe.

Superpower grabbed the kryptonite, stuffed the whole piece into his mouth, and swallowed it. His muscles bulged again, making a crackling sound, and veins throbbed on his forehead like earthworms. He roared to the sky, smashed through the ceiling of Luther Corporation, and shot into the night sky.

On the way, Superpower deliberately avoided the sunlight, flying along the dividing line between day and night, heading towards the moon, wanting to place it in his preferred position.
