HP: Wizards at Hogwarts

Chapter 95 Night Raid

Chapter 95 Night Raid

Back in the common room, the young wizards continued the Halloween feast as expected.

Elaine was unaware of the situation at the other houses, but the Hufflepuff badger wizards had asked the house-elves for some food and drinks in the kitchen. Some members of the Gourmet Research Society even cooked themselves, and the group prepared a large amount of food, singing and dancing happily in the common room.

A few playful little wizards modified bed sheets into ghost costumes, wore them, and carried homemade pumpkin lanterns as they wandered back and forth through the crowd.

Some people dressed up as giant bees, knocked on other people's dorm doors one by one, and said, "Trick or treat!" while tightly clutching the prank props they had bought from the Weasley twins.

Some people dressed up as the Headless Horseman, sitting in a corner of the lounge, constantly sneaking snacks from the table.

Elaine also unusually chose to join in the fun with the people and did not go out for a night out.

He sat on the large sofa in the middle of the common room with Ernie, Justin, Hannah, Susan, and others, playing their newly acquired musical instruments.

These musical instruments were the items that Elaine applied to Hogwarts to purchase when he applied to establish the "Arts Society".

Dumbledore had bought them back a month earlier.

However, Elivin himself was not very good at playing musical instruments, and he had been busy ripening herbs and developing new potions for some time, so the "Art Society" was delayed in being established.

Having some free time tonight, he called over his friends to try and tinker with it.

Musical instruments include both Western and Chinese styles, including but not limited to drum kits, violins, cellos, pianos, harmonicas, accordions, guzheng, guqin, suonas, erhu, xiao, and dizi.

Elaine led everyone in the academy to try them all.

Unfortunately, either their fingers were not nimble enough to play, or they lacked breath and could not play for long.

After fiddling with these instruments for more than three hours, none of them turned out well, and instead, they made quite a few laughable mistakes.

While Elaine was playing with his friends, things were not so peaceful at Hogwarts.

It was past midnight, on the right side of the fourth-floor corridor.

Under Voldemort's instructions, Quirrell disguised himself and quietly arrived at the location.

Although his feint during the dinner party failed, it did put Dumbledore and the young wizards on their guard, so much so that not a single person went out for a night stroll.

This gave Quirrell a perfect opportunity to steal the Philosopher's Stone.

"Master, do we really have to do this?"

Quirrell simply couldn't muster the courage to steal it right under Dumbledore's nose. "The first obstacle guarding the Philosopher's Stone is a three-headed dog, a magical creature of XXXX level!"

The trap to hide the Philosopher's Stone was commissioned by Dumbledore and carried out by the professors, which is why Quirrell knew of Fluffy's existence.

"Shut up, Quirrell!"

"Just do as I say!"

Voldemort's voice rang out from the back of Quirrell's head: "You should know that you have very little life force left in your body, and the only thing that can save you is the Philosopher's Stone!"

Quirrell was so angry he wanted to grind his teeth.

Why is there so little life force left in my body?

You've absorbed it all!

"If I can't get the magic stone, I'll just find someone else to possess later. Although the process is a bit troublesome, it's nothing to me."

"But for you, the situation is far different!"

Are you willing to die like this?

"We're stealing the Philosopher's Stone not to save me, but to save you!"

"You should be thanking me!"

Voldemort is indeed as legendary as they say, the most evil, ruthless, and terrifying being in the wizarding world!

Quirrell clenched his fists tightly, wishing he could punch himself in the back of the head.

But in the end, he abandoned this reckless idea.

His life was completely in the hands of the other party, and he was utterly powerless to do anything about it!

With a long sigh, Quirrell slowly pushed open the door to the right-hand corridor on the fourth floor and saw a huge three-headed dog.

Lou Williams!

It was lying on the trapdoor, fast asleep.

"Great, the beast is asleep!"

Quirrell was overjoyed. "Then this is my chance!"

Just as he was about to take action, he saw a beam of light shining from behind him!

"Who's there!"

Oops!

It's Snape!

Luckily, I was dressed in black and disguised, otherwise I would have been recognized.

Quirrell secretly rejoiced.

But the next moment, a low growl made his expression change instantly.

He then noticed that the beam of light not only shone on him, but also aroused the sleeping three-headed dog!

"roar----"

Lou Williams woke up.

It has been in this place for two months.

During this time, it not only had no freedom, but also had very little food. So when it woke up from its sleep, the first thing it did was look for food.

Just then, there was a pastry that looked quite nice right in front of me.

"roar--!!"

Lou Williams roared and slammed his paw down hard.

"Ironclad Protection!"

"Obstacles are numerous!"

Without a second thought, Quirrell cast two spells to block Lou Williams's large claws, then turned and ran.

He didn't run backwards, he ran forwards.

Since Snape has caught up from behind, if they run backwards, a battle between them is inevitable.

Quirrell knew he was no match for Snape, and even if Voldemort fought in his place, he might not be able to escape before Dumbledore arrived once the commotion got out.

Moreover, he had no intention of revealing Voldemort's existence.

After all, if that were the case, Voldemort would be sent to Azkaban regardless of whether he succeeded or failed in the end!

Quirrell didn't want to spend the rest of his days in a dark and hopeless prison!

"Legs stiffen and he dies!"

A curse came from behind.

It was Snape who, seeing the thief fleeing, used a spell to stop him.

But Quirrell's reputation as a Defense Against the Dark Arts professor was well-deserved.

Sensing the attack from behind, he immediately jumped to the side to dodge it.

At that moment, Snape also rushed into the corridor. He raised his wand and attacked the mysterious man in the hooded robe deep in the corridor.

He collapsed to the ground, completely unconscious!

"They'll all be petrified!"

"Disarm you!"

Quirrell dodged all three spells with his agile movements.

Even more surprisingly, Quirrell seized an opening and counterattacked, knocking the opponent unconscious.

Snape also dodged to the side, but couldn't help feeling a little surprised.

Such movement and combat skills are definitely beyond the reach of students!

Just as Snape was about to continue the pursuit, a rough growl sounded from behind him, followed by the stench of breath and saliva hitting him.

Oops!

Snape then realized that the curse had not been aimed at him, but at Fluffy!

He wanted to provoke this ferocious beast that had just woken up!

Snape turned around quickly, and three huge heads came into view.

His expression finally changed.
