Stop giving me bad reviews, or I'll become the richest person in the world!

Chapter 3 Where did all these orders come from? I didn't want any!

"This life is wonderful! Three bad reviews a day, four to six thousand yuan a month. After deducting rent and utilities, I net ten thousand yuan a month. It doesn't attract attention, I can live a very relaxed life, and I can stay away from my parents. This kind of life is just too good! After saving up for another six months, I'll buy a house in this small city, and then I'll have absolutely no worries!"

Wang Aiguo sat in a recliner, happily dreaming about the future. Although Haicheng was a small third-tier city, far inferior to Shanghai, Wang Aiguo felt it was quite nice here. There was little social interaction, few people knew him, he was far away from his parents, and he had money and leisure time. Wasn't this a good life?

In contrast, buying a house would be a huge problem in Shanghai, and his parents are constantly pressuring him to get married. What's even more frightening is what kind of good match his parents could find? The woman they introduced him to, Qiao Lili, immediately asked for a dowry of 880,000 yuan and a fully furnished apartment.

More importantly, he had been in seven relationships, had two miscarriages, liked going to bars, and had a large group of male best friends. His parents introduced Qiao Lili to him simply because Qiao Lili's mother was a friend of theirs, and with a simple "her daughter is very well-behaved," they passed the buck to Wang Aiguo.

Wang Aiguo was actually quite confused as to why parents these days had become like this, as if their children's marriage was a task, and they were desperately trying to make their children complete this task, regardless of whether the children were happy or not after marriage.

Wang Aiguo felt that he was a relatively filial person, so he didn't want to talk about these topics in person, and thus he went to another place to find some peace and quiet.

Seeing that it was almost ten o'clock, Wang Aiguo decisively pulled down the roller shutter. Small places have their advantages; an 8,000 yuan shop can not only be used to open a store, but the second floor can also be converted into living quarters, saving both money and worry.

Today, Wang Aiguo left four negative reviews, totaling six thousand yuan, which made him very happy. He even slept soundly at that moment.

The next day, Wang Aiguo was awakened by a "ding-ding-ding" sound. After being awakened, Wang Aiguo went downstairs in confusion to see what the sound was.

As soon as Wang Aiguo got downstairs, he was dumbfounded. At that moment, takeout orders were popping up like snowflakes on the takeout printer.

"You have a new takeout order!"

"You have a new takeout order!"

"You have..."

"What the hell?! What's going on? What time is it? Nine in the morning? Nine o'clock? I just opened for business! Where did all these orders come from? My little shop has terrible reviews. Are so many people going to eat my snacks this early in the morning?!"

Wang Aiguo looked bewildered and quickly went downstairs in his slippers to see what was going on with these orders. But when he got downstairs and picked up one of the takeout orders, he was stunned.

"Boss, I want sugar in my cold noodles, extra sugar, please!"

"Boss, I heard you're pretty arrogant. Come on, make me a scallion pancake and see if I give you a bad review."

"Boss, add yogurt to the scallion pancake. I want to use it as a face mask."

"Boss, I want to eat your potato scallion pancake!"

"Boss, I challenge you! If you're so capable, put stinky tofu in my scallion pancake!"

Looking at the orders, Wang Aiguo suddenly felt a headache coming on; he felt like something was not quite right.

Just then, Wang Aiguo's roller shutter door was banged on loudly.

"Boss, are you up yet? Orders! Orders! So many orders! I've already accepted them all, hurry up and prepare the food!"

It was obvious that the person knocking on the door was a food delivery driver.

"Okay, okay, I just woke up. I'm really confused, how come there are so many orders out of the blue? What happened?"

Wang Aiguo looked puzzled, but he immediately opened the door and welcomed the deliveryman in. As for himself, he hurried into the kitchen.

Fortunately, he sells cold noodles and hand-pulled pancakes. Except for the grilled sausages which need to be grilled fresh, the other items can be used after being taken out of the refrigerator and heated up slightly.

The delivery drivers were already sitting impatiently in the lobby. They were also surprised to receive so many orders early that morning, all from Wang Aiguo. As delivery drivers based here, the area was usually quite quiet, with only two or three orders a day at most. But today, inexplicably, they had over twenty orders before nine o'clock. This caused all three delivery drivers stationed here to rush over.

"Boss, hurry up and speed up! There are so many orders!" a deliveryman shouted to Wang Aiguo.

Wang Aiguo glared at him irritably and said, "I'm doing it, I'm doing it! I'm the only one in this little shop, didn't you see?"

"Boss, if you can't handle this, you should hire someone. Besides, your orders are still piling up. Maybe you should temporarily stop online delivery; you can't manage it all by yourself!"

The deliveryman's words reminded Wang Aiguo, and without hesitation, Wang Aiguo quickly turned off online food delivery.

If he didn't shut it down, Wang Aiguo was afraid someone would target him.

"Alright, it's closed now. Why don't you three stop sitting around and come in and pack this up for me?"

"Alright!"

Seeing Wang Aiguo so busy and flustered, the three deliverymen softened and went outside the kitchen to pack the food for him.

However, when they were packing the food, the three deliverymen noticed something was wrong. The items Wang Aiguo delivered were mostly strange.

One of the delivery guys, holding a sheet of liangpi (cold skin noodles) that was covered in sugar and contained only two strands, asked with a puzzled look, "Hey bro, is this liangpi? Who puts so much sugar in their liangpi?"

Wang Aiguo offered no explanation and simply tossed a takeout order to the man.

The delivery driver took the order, glanced at it, and immediately rolled his eyes: "They told you to add more sugar, but they didn't tell you to fill the entire bowl of cold noodles with sugar! Are you crazy?"

"That's how I do things here. Take it or leave it. But then again, look at these orders, isn't everyone asking for these weird things?"

After Wang Aiguo finished speaking, the remaining two deliverymen packed the food while looking at the notes. They then discovered that all the orders had one thing in common—almost every order had a note.

For example, some people insist on eating raw potato pancakes, while others demand a large amount of chili peppers in their cold noodles. Others are quite blunt: no matter how good Wang Aiguo's food is, they're going to give it a bad review; they're there to give a bad review, and the taste doesn't matter.

The three delivery drivers were stunned by the jumbled notes on the orders. What? What's going on?

"Did you offend someone? Is this a professional negative review team ordering food?"

"I don't know, I don't know. Oh well, never mind that. Let's finish this first, and then deliver it right away!"

"Alright!"

The three deliverymen worked with Wang Aiguo for a full half hour to complete all the orders. After finishing, the three deliverymen carried the orders and ran off.

After these people left, Wang Aiguo still didn't open the online order system, but sat back down in the center of the shop with a puzzled look on his face.

"Something's not right, something's definitely not right. For the first two days after opening, we only had three or four orders a day, and all of them were negative reviews. How come we have over twenty orders this morning? Something must have happened that I don't know about!"

"System, could you help me figure out why my shop suddenly became so popular?"

"We've detected a surge in public opinion!"
