The Bizarre Adventure of the Warhammer Guard

Leon continued his search for the secret passage entrance. Finally, he reached the back of the police station from the second floor, climbed over the wall, and entered the marked room on the first floor. Using the answers in his notebook, he deciphered the special code for the secret room's entrance, opened the door, and stepped into the secret passage.

Following the secret passage forward, after opening a large door, Lyon found himself in a maze of interconnected passages. Looking down, he could vaguely see a cluster of buildings.

This is not a secret passage at all; it's more like an underground base, a secret base hidden inside the police station.

What secrets is hidden in Raccoon City's police department? Leon dared not think too much about it. He climbed out of a sewer pipe along the main road and looked around. He found himself in the police department's underground parking lot, with the only way out blocked by a wire mesh gate.

Lyon stood up and went to the door switch to try the button, but unfortunately, he needed to swipe a card to open it.

Suddenly, Leon heard some movement behind him. He quickly turned around and raised his pistol. A canine creature emerged from the shadows. It was a hunting dog, which also appeared to have mutated, with many rotting parts on its body, baring its teeth and staring at Leon.

The zombie dog suddenly pounced on Leon, knocking him to the ground before he could react, his pistol flying from his hand. In that critical moment, Leon gripped the zombie dog's head tightly with both hands to prevent it from biting him.

The zombie dogs were far stronger than ordinary people, and Leon's arms gradually went weak, and he was about to give way.

Two gunshots rang out, shattering the zombie dog's head. A woman in high heels, a pale yellow trench coat, and sunglasses approached. Leon quickly picked up his pistol and pointed it at the stranger.

"Put the gun down." The woman pointed the gun at Leon and showed an ID with her other hand. "Federal investigator. I didn't expect a police officer to find this place alive."

"Sorry, thank you for saving me." Leon holstered his gun and stood up. "FBI agent? What happened here? Why did people become like that?"

"No comment," came the woman's languid voice. "Alright, stop asking questions. It's dangerous here, get out of here quickly." With that, the woman pushed open a door and vanished in a flash.

"Hey, I'm not finished yet! Do you know where the key card to get out of the garage is?" Leon shouted, but no one answered him.

Leon shook his head and continued walking, surprised to find a prison next to the underground parking lot. Perhaps the key card was inside. Leon walked further in, searching for the key card, when suddenly he heard someone calling for help in the distance.

Leon followed the sound to the gate of a prison. Inside was a person, pale-faced, who looked like he hadn't eaten for days, but was unharmed and seemed like a normal person.

"How are you?"

"Oh God, please help me!" the man cried desperately to Leon as he saw someone approaching. "Quick, get me out of here! I have the key card to leave the parking lot; it's the only way out."

"How did you get locked up here?" Leon was unmoved by his words and asked.

"That damn police chief arrested me and locked me up." The man's voice suddenly rose.

"Chief?" Leon asked. "Why would our chief arrest you?"

"I found out about his dirty secrets, so he threatened me and locked me up. It's that simple. Get me out of here quickly."

"I'm sorry, I can't do that," Leon refused the man's request. "I need to talk to the chief first."

"Listen, it's come to this, we're all trapped in the police station." The man moved away from the fence, leaned against the wall, and became agitated, holding a key card in his hand. "So we can cooperate and get me out, otherwise you'll never get it..."

Before the man could finish speaking, a giant hand pierced through the wall he was leaning against, grabbed his head, and squeezed it hard. The man's head burst open like a popped balloon.

"My God," Leon exclaimed softly, pointing his pistol at the murderous figure.

The enormous monster burst through the wall and stood upright. It was nearly two and a half meters tall, wearing a black jumpsuit, and its exposed facial skin was grayish-white and cracked.

"Run!" The woman in the trench coat who had disappeared earlier reappeared in the distance and shouted to Leon.

Leon immediately turned and ran, while the giant monster crashed through the prison fence and chased after them.

"What's that?" Leon asked the woman as he ran. "My name is Leon Kennedy. What's yours?"

"At a time like this, you're still asking this?" Even in high heels, the woman ran just as fast as Lyon. "I have a plan. You'll distract the tyrant in the parking lot later, and I've prepared something to deal with him. Also, call me Ada."

"Wait, the tyrant? Should I lure him away?"

Leon and Ada returned to the parking lot, but what they saw filled Leon with despair.

A figure even taller than the tyrant who had just chased him stood at the entrance to the parking lot, behind him a broken barbed wire gate. The monster, over three meters tall, was completely shrouded in a huge black cloak, with only its crimson giant eyes and golden helmet visible. A massive silver weapon was held in its golden hand.

Lyon had a feeling that he was definitely going to die this time.

Standing before Lyon was Elpis. Elpis had previously driven his modified JFK van, using a special license plate, along the highway to the vicinity of the police station in Raccoon City.

He wandered around, reminiscing about the city scenery from his previous life. He casually found some fabric in a clothing store and made a black cloak to cover his armor.

He had overheard Leon and Claire's conversation earlier; his superhuman hearing system allowed him to clearly hear their conversation even from hundreds of meters away.

Elpis had sensed strange footsteps in the underground parking lot. He never expected that after tearing open the seemingly insignificant wire mesh door and entering the parking lot, he would run into Leon and Ada, who were fleeing.

He stood there, observing the two mortals before him with great interest.

Lyon was a rather robust young man; if he were in Terra, he would certainly be qualified to become an Astartes. As for Ada, Elpis glanced at the woman wearing sunglasses, a slight tremor running through his mind—she was a rare Untouchable.

Untouchables are a special type of mutant in the Warhammer universe. They possess a natural ability to counter psionic powers and are the bane of warp creatures. Even within the Imperium, they are extremely rare; the Emperor's Right Hand—the Sisters of Silence—are entirely composed of powerful Untouchables.

However, Ada's untouchable nature is a bit strange. I'll have to study it carefully later. Right now, I need to solve a small problem.

Seeing the Tyrant that had just crashed through the wall, resembling an unarmored Astartes, Elpis decided to test the Tyrant's strength.
