Taking advantage of their high spirits, Luo Ning led the children directly to the national football team's church in the Nest City.

The appearance here is exactly the same as the chapel of Vatos VII.

The local priest was all alone, with only two apprentices under his command. He could only make a living by performing Mass for nobles in exchange for meager supplies. He was destitute and pitiful.

But after Bishop Moraes arrived, a large number of clergy moved in, and the small church was instantly overcrowded.

A temporary hospital was even set up next to the church.

Local doctors were mobilized to treat the wounded soldiers day and night.

"Lord Luo Ning, I was unable to help you in time when you had a conflict with the nobles. I am truly ashamed."

Bishop Moraes came forward, his face full of apology.

Ronin patted him on the shoulder and smiled reassuringly, "Bishop, there's no need to blame yourself. You have more important things to do. I've already taken care of all those nobles."

Ronin was serious; he knew all too well how busy Bishop Moraes had been lately.

These days, Moraes is extremely busy:

On one hand, a sanctification ritual must be performed on the entire nest to cleanse it of the filth left by the green skin;

On one hand, they had to treat the endless stream of wounded soldiers. Even though most of the seriously wounded had been transported back to Vatos VII, new wounded soldiers continued to arrive.

What made Ronin even more grateful was that Morath had also single-handedly organized the Imperial Holy Soul Ceremony.

In the square between the State Church and the Governor's Palace stands a huge obsidian monument, almost entirely covered with the names of soldiers who died in the battle against the Greenskins. This place has become a holy site of the Empire.

All the remains of the martyrs were placed in military alloy coffins and buried in the martyrs' cemetery. Moraes personally blessed each coffin with a national religious amulet to prevent any heresy or alien desecration.

Moraes handled all of this silently, without making the exhausted Ronning worry about a thing.

All the credit and honors will naturally be shared with Luo Ning.

Ronin was extremely grateful, but he still had to tell Bishop Moras the purpose of his visit. He said solemnly, "Bishop, there is one more thing I would like to ask you."

Seeing Ronin's approving expression, even Bishop Moras, whose friendship with Ronin was extremely deep, became serious. "Lord Ronin, please speak freely."

"These children are slaves given to me by Viscount Walker, and I plan to train them into elite warriors under my command." Ronin looked at the boy behind him. "I will arrange for people to hone their physique and killing skills, but I do not want them to become weapons of slaughter without faith. I implore you to perform a state baptism for them at the level of an episcopal priest."

Looking at the group of determined young men, Moraes' aged face revealed a heartfelt sense of satisfaction.

Ronin's unwavering devotion to the Empire and the state religion was what moved him the most.

Without the slightest hesitation, Moraes immediately summoned the battle nuns and core clergy to conduct the most formal bishop-level baptism for the boys.

This baptism will temper their minds and strengthen their faith, not only making them immune to the spiritual corruption of the green-skinned WAAAGH!, but also resisting the whispers and seduction of the Chaos God.

Led by Luo Ning, the boys knelt before the imperial statue and prayed devoutly.

The moment the emblem was branded onto their skin, a piercing pain shot through them, but not a single child cried out or backed down. They all gritted their teeth and persevered, displaying remarkable courage.

After the baptism, Ronin finalized the training plan for the boys with the new captain of the battle nuns.

The morning hours were handed over to the defense forces for extreme physical and military-style training, pushing their strength, speed, and endurance to their full potential.

In the afternoon, these combat nuns, whose combat power is at the pinnacle of mortals, would spend two hours teaching the Imperial standard elite combat techniques, while simultaneously reinforcing the Emperor's faith.

In the evenings, Luo Ning would personally review the day's progress and conduct final training sessions, imparting to Luo Ning all his unparalleled combat skills.

Now that the plan had been set, Luo Ning didn't intend to waste a single second.

He bid farewell to Father Moraes, and Ronning led several boys to the military camp.

After several days of rest and reorganization, Garan has completed the preparation of the entire army.

The lightly wounded are gradually returning to their units, and the entire security and perimeter patrol system of Chaodu is now fully operational.

Upon seeing Luo Ning, Garan quickly approached, a relaxed smile on his face that he only showed in front of him, the usual coldness of a ruthless general gone.

"Well, it's finally over." Luo Ning nodded, looking at the troops training in the distance, his eyes full of heartache. "Thank you for your hard work, brothers."

The brothers I brought from Vatos VII fought and died on Caron II, suffering heavy casualties.

They must have been homesick, but they carried out their work of guarding and patrolling the city of Karon II and its surroundings perfectly these past few days without a single complaint.

"You worry too much, sir," Garan laughed heartily. "The brothers are in high spirits! We have completed the takeover of Fisher's Legion, the hive city's security and the entire area's reconnaissance are all in place, and everyone is working with great enthusiasm!"

"You guys are all great. We'll have to figure out how to treat you all when we get there." Luo Ning smiled with satisfaction and waved to the kids behind him, beckoning them over.

As Garland looked at the children and questioned Ronin's plan, Ronin spoke first.

"These kids will be yours every morning from now on. I want them to undergo the most rigorous training."

Luo Ning spoke slowly, his expression extremely serious.

"They grew up in the mines, their endurance far exceeds that of ordinary people, and they are the perfect age. I want to train them into a special elite force."

Garland immediately nodded in agreement, "Don't worry, sir, I'll arrange for the top scouts to personally train you, and I guarantee you won't be disappointed."

Luo Ning turned around, his icy gaze sweeping over all the teenagers, his words sharp and unwavering:

"From this day forward, your limits will be broken time and time again. Strength, speed, and will must be etched into your very bones! Those who can endure and learn to master these skills will become my trusted confidants, the sharpest blades of the empire! Those who cannot will go back to the mines and be slaves for the rest of their lives."

"It's an adult!"

The most robust boy responded first, his loud voice startling his companions.

Immediately afterward, the clever and cunning boy puffed out his chest and shouted, "We will never let Lord Luo Ning down!"

The other teenagers responded in unison, each one holding their head high and chest out like true warriors, loudly swearing allegiance.

Ronin was very satisfied with their condition and nodded, saying, "You've all done a great job. I'm giving you a chance to turn your lives around and free you and your families from slavery. I believe you won't let me down."

"yes!"

The boys shouted in unison, full of vigor.

Luo Ning nodded in satisfaction, turned and left, while Garan led the group of hopeful youths on their own path of tempering.
