Warhammer: Starting with Industrial Revolution

Chapter 133: The cunning always comes out on top.

As Edward quietly advanced, Leon's gaze remained fixed on him.

He clung to the wall like a venomous snake, moving silently to get as close to it as possible, slowly circling around to Edward's side, poised to strike.

In a flash, Lyon made his move!

In a flash, he was right in front of Edward, and reached out to grab the note on Edward's chest.

But the next second, he found that Edward was looking right into his eyes.

That moment of surprise allowed Edward to seize the initiative and knock Leon to the ground.

Leon's face slammed heavily against the ground. In the instant of the pain, he tried to resist, but it was too late. The note on his back had already been torn off by Edward.

"Stop!"

Luo Ning shouted to stop them, and the lights came on again.

The boys, who had finally adjusted to the darkness, instinctively covered their eyes, and it took them a few seconds to adjust.

Meanwhile, Edward had already helped Leon, who had been pinned down, to his feet.

"You're really too dark-skinned. Was it necessary to use so much force?" It was clear that Leon wasn't angry. They had all been sent here as slaves, and their friendship was not something that could be easily broken.

Edward's face was full of apology, a completely different person from when he was facing Ronin. "Sorry, it's your fault for trying to hit me first, even though you have a lot of space."

Hearing Edward's words, Leon gave an awkward smile, "Strike first, right?" He laughed heartily and walked towards Ronin.

But only Luo Ning could see that when he turned his head, the boy's face showed obvious resentment. However, what was reassuring was that at least in this resentment, there was no sense of distance between them.

The light dimmed again, and with Leon's elimination, the balance of power in the room had shifted dramatically.

Originally, it was supposed to be a match between three defenders, two attackers, and three free agents. However, due to the attacks by Edward and Lucius, one attacker and one free agent have been eliminated, effectively turning it into a three-on-three situation.

But at that moment, the cunning Gil, who had been making no move until now, suddenly broke the silence in the darkness.

"Wait a minute! Listen to me!"

He clapped his hands, as if he wasn't afraid of revealing his location at all.

But in reality, he still stood cautiously in the corner, his face displaying a caution completely different from his relaxed voice.

The other teenagers also stopped and looked in Gil's direction, wondering what the smartest one among them was up to.

"We can't afford to fight like this anymore! The camp has actually shifted, haven't you guys noticed?"

Kiel spoke loudly, as if he were very emotional.

"Ed, you tore Leon apart! Do you know what status code will be next? Right now it looks like my teammates Lance and Voka are still here, but in reality, I'm the only one capable of attacking, while the three defenders are completely unharmed!"

"So here's the problem. Actually, the real team composition is like this: Lance and Woka are essentially on one team, I'm on another, and Edward and Lucius are also on their own teams. The people who actually have teammates are Roel, Bushis, and Finch."

"I'm definitely no match for them in a fight, but are the two of you really capable of taking on those three big guys? Besides, you also have to be wary of the other people around you!"

"More importantly, once any one of those three is eliminated, Lance and Woka will go to help them, making it a four-man team, which would be invincible."

"I don't care about winning or losing. You know I'm not one to talk about food, but games are more fun when they're evenly matched, right?"

Listening to Kiel's words, the big Finch finally figured it out, and he shouted:

"Kier, you're cheating! Why are you dragging your teammates into this?! Master didn't say we could play like this!"

"Yeah, yeah! Everyone has their own camp, what are you saying here, cheating!" Roll and Bush shouted along.

Hearing their words, Kiel retorted without backing down, "My master didn't say I was breaking the rules. There's no rule against teaming up with others, and besides, I was simply telling the truth!"

Luo Ning listened to the children's argument without interrupting.

What he wanted was for the children to be able to continuously think of solutions during this kind of practice.

Noticing Luo Ning's attitude, the children instantly understood.

Alliances are the hidden rule of this trial.

In that instant, the three defending children also realized that the situation was about to change.

They quickly devised a plan and moved together toward Kiel.

With three against one, they have an absolute advantage!

However, this action also exposed their weakness, as Lucius and Edward moved closer to them at the same time.

The children, who had already adapted to the darkness, also noticed the approach of the two figures who had been hiding themselves.

In the chaos, they had to defend themselves against Lucius and Edward while also pursuing Gil, while Lance and Voká constantly interfered with their actions.

The trio's iron triangle formation was finally torn apart. In the instant when they were on guard against Lucius and Edward and their attention was diverted, Gil made his move.

hiss!

The next second, the lights came on, Bush walked dejectedly toward Ronin, while Kiel held up the note with a smug look on his face.

As the lights went out again, Finch's roar echoed throughout the chamber:

"Lance! Woka! Hold off Lucius and Ed! We're going to take out Gil!"

That's right, the rule was triggered, the libero completely switched sides, and Lance and Woka officially became allies of the defensive team.

The two big guys, on the other hand, need to finish the fight as soon as possible before Kiel moves on.

Unfortunately, both Edward and Lucius vanished into the darkness the instant the lights were turned off.

Although Lance and Woka tried their best to stop the two, they couldn't find them at all.

The next second, the notes on the two unsuspecting individuals were torn off.

The two attacked simultaneously, clearly not intending to give Luo Ning a chance to stop, and eliminating both free agents at the same time.

Luo Ning turned on the light and looked at the children in front of him.

Their expressions varied, and each person's emotions were different.

Kiel wore a wicked grin of triumph, while Roll and Finch put on masks of pain.

Of course, the most disappointed were Lance and Woka, whose slips of paper had been torn off. They were still in shock at being suddenly eliminated.

Only Edward and Lucius remained expressionless throughout, their eyes fixed on Ronin's every move.

Clearly, they were preparing to launch a thunderous attack the instant the room lights were turned off and before everyone's eyes had adjusted to the darkness.
