Fairy Tail: This Healing Mage's hits hurt so much!

Early in the morning, Riyao came to wake them up and kicked the door open.

The wooden door slammed against the wall with a loud bang, and dust fell in a flurry.

Lucy truly deserves to be called the main character of Fairy Tail, the chosen one.

She lay between the two idiots, with Natsu snoring loudly on her left and Gray, who had somehow taken off his clothes again, on her right. She was living the life of having someone on her left and someone on her right, although they weren't actually hugging each other.

Her face was marked with the wrinkles from the pillow, her hair was a mess like a bird's nest, and there was a trace of drool at the corner of her mouth.

Riyo Asahi gave Lucy a thumbs up, her eyes full of mischievous "I get it, I get it" vibes.

Lucy sat up abruptly, waving her hands frantically, her face flushed red.

"It's not what you think! We're just crammed together because there aren't enough rooms!"

Harpy was thrown off balance by her sitting up, tumbling twice in the air before crashing into the wall.

Lucy nudged the two sleeping gods on either side.

"Natsu! Gray! Wake up!"

Gray, Natsu, and Happy rubbed their eyes and sat up groggily.

Natsu's hair was turned into a pink spiky ball, while Gray looked down blankly, searching for his clothes.

Riyao leaned against the doorway, arms crossed, a smile on his lips, deliberately speaking in a respectful tone.

"My Lord Mage, get up and have breakfast."

The moment Natsu and Happy heard the word "eat," their eyes lit up instantly, as if a power button had been pressed, and they were launched off the ground.

"Oh! Where's breakfast? Where is it?"

Natsu grabbed Sunrise's shoulder and shook him violently.

"Do you have any fish? I want to eat boiled black-backed sea bass!"

Harpy flapped its wings and flew to the top of Sunbeam's head.

After having breakfast with them, Riyao set off.

Walking on the road to the ruins, the sea breeze carried a salty, fishy smell, and the roadside weeds grew wildly to waist height.

Riyao was looking for some fun, since the trip couldn't be too boring.

He saw that Gray was shirtless again, and Sunshine said in an admiring tone, his hands clasped together, his eyes sparkling.

"Why does Lord Gray like to go shirtless so much? Is it some kind of advanced magical skill? That's amazing!"

Gray scratched his head sheepishly, a slight smile creeping onto his face; he was feeling a little giddy from the compliment.

"Indeed, I took it off to be closer to nature. Ice-type mages need to feel the breath of nature, after all."

He became more and more serious as he spoke, even puffing out his chest, completely unaware that he was being fooled.

Sunlight ran over to Harpy, squatted down, and stared in shock at it flapping its wings.

"Lord Harpy can fly! This...this...this is so hot!"

Harpy was so praised that he seemed to float away without wings, his two short legs kicking proudly in the air, his little head held high.

"Aye! If there's any danger, stay behind me. I'll protect you!"

Sunlight looked at Natsu with shining eyes, leaned close to him, and stared at the sparks dancing between his fingers.

"Wow! Lord Natsu's flames look incredibly powerful! They must make fighting dragons a breeze!"

Natsu patted his chest, making a loud thud that echoed through the empty road.

"You have a good eye! If I encountered a dragon, I'd blast it away in a heartbeat!"

As he spoke, he waved his fist, flames dancing between his fingers, his whole being radiating excitement like a peacock spreading its tail.

Sunlight stroked his chin, looking Lucy up and down, his gaze sweeping from head to toe, then back up again, finally settling on some uncertain spot, where he hesitated for a long time.

"Lady Lucy...is really...good."

Lucy's eye twitched, then two streams of tears flowed down her cheeks as she clenched her fists and shouted.

"Hey! If you can't think of something to say, don't talk! It hurts me!"

Happy, who had flown onto Sunbeam's shoulder, covered his mouth and chuckled, his shoulder twitching. Lucy turned and called out, reaching out to grab Happy.

"Stinky cat! Don't laugh!"

Happy nimbly dodged, flapped his wings, and flew to Natsu's head, continuing to chuckle.

As they walked, a huge shadow loomed over them. The ground trembled slightly, and their footsteps sounded heavy and powerful.

Looking up, I saw a huge rat, still wearing clothes. The rat was at least two stories tall, its gray fur gleaming eerily in the purple moonlight, its small eyes gleaming with ferocity, and it squeaked.

Sunlight hurriedly lifted Harpy in front of him, like holding up a shield.

"Lord Happy, you're a cat! Catch this mouse!"

The hobby, lifted to the front, wiggled its short legs, looking terrified.

"I don't like eating mice! Besides, this mouse is so much bigger than me! I'm only as small as its toes!"

Gray, standing nearby, pressed his hands to the ground, and icy blue magic instantly spread out: "Ice Design - Ice Floor!"

A smooth surface of ice stretched out from Gray's feet, lying right under the giant rat's feet.

The giant rat slipped and its massive body crashed to the ground, shaking the earth.

Natsu charged forward and kicked the giant rat in the head: "Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

Although it was done with feet, the momentum was in no way inferior.

Gray followed up with a kick, his cold foot landing on the giant rat's face.

Riyao also joined in the fun, kicking someone and then pretending to catch his breath.

"Wow, you two are amazing! You've really got me fired up!"

"This rat must have mutated due to the influence of the Purple Moon," Gray analyzed.

"Who cares! Kick it!" Natsu added another kick.

Riyao then kicked it again, yelling, "Yes! Kick it!"

Lucy, who was behind them, sighed and rubbed her forehead, "This Claes is surprisingly compatible with them."

After knocking down the rat by the roadside, the group went into the ruins.

Huge stone pillars stood on both sides, the walls were covered with incomprehensible runes, and the air was filled with an ancient and decaying atmosphere.

Footsteps echoed in the empty hall, as if something was lurking in the shadows.

Riyao gave a pretentious introduction to the site, with his hands behind his back, shaking his head and acting as if he were a well-informed person.

"According to the older generation, this site dates back to ancient times. I can't remember exactly when, but it's been a very, very long time."

Natsu wasn't listening at all; he was already exploring the ruins in his own way, such as testing the sturdiness of the floor.

"Ahhhhhhh..." This was Lucy's cry, sharp and long, echoing in the shaft.

Upon seeing Deliora, Gray immediately felt uneasy.

His face turned pale instantly, his pupils contracted sharply, and he seemed to have lost his soul, sinking into a deep depression.

His hands trembled slightly, his breathing became rapid and heavy, and his icy blue eyes churned with complex emotions: fear, anger, and something else that was hard to describe.

Natsu, completely oblivious to Gray's strange behavior, kept shouting that he would defeat Deliora, his fist bursting into flames.

"Wow! This big guy looks really tough! Let me beat it!"

He had barely taken a step when Gray punched Natsu, sending him flying with such force that it seemed as if he were slamming in over a decade's worth of pent-up anger. Natsu was sent flying sideways, crashing into a stone pillar with a dull thud.

"You fire-playing brat, stay away from Deliora!"

Gray's voice was hoarse and furious, his eyes were slightly red, and his fists were still trembling.

Lucy didn't understand why they suddenly started fighting, and she was even more confused about what was wrong with Gray. She quickly ran between the two of them, spreading her arms to shield Natsu.

"Grey, let's talk this out, don't resort to violence!"

Natsu slid down from the stone pillar, rubbing his slapped face, looking completely bewildered.

Sunlight stood to one side, frowning as he analyzed the massive block of ice, his gaze sweeping over the frozen Deliora.
