Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 321 I'll become a prefect for the sake of the big public bath!

Often, people are unaware that what they have within their grasp is something others desperately crave, such as a private bathtub or the largest dormitory room per person. This is especially true for children like Daphne and Astoria, whose families own manors. For them, attending Hogwarts is nothing short of a miserable experience.

"What was the school thinking? Would it kill them to build a bigger bathtub?" Daphne complained, looking at the bathtub in front of her, which was barely bigger than a regular bathtub.

"Sister, after all, there are so many people in the house. If a small cubicle takes up ten square meters, a hundred people would take up a thousand square meters. The house lounge is even built under the Black Lake. Lord Slytherin must have had his reasons." Astoria thought about it from Salazar Slytherin's perspective and realized that his best solution was actually to build those shower rooms, or rather, large public baths for multiple people. These individual small baths were the most thankless task—but they were also the most comfortable and clean.

"I wouldn't go into one of those huge public baths that can accommodate dozens of people," she added.

Upon hearing her sister's words, Daphne imagined the scene and couldn't help but shudder—it was disgusting to even think about! She didn't want to share a bath with other people; how filthy!

"Then just admit fewer students. Anyway, I think most idiots don't deserve to be here." Daphne rolled her eyes: Slytherin House is like a garbage can now, housing too much scum from pure-blood families.

As she spoke, she lifted her foot, grabbed the heel tab with her index finger and thumb, and gently pulled off her shoe, revealing black cotton stockings underneath.

"Where else could they go if not here?" Astoria followed suit, taking off her boots and gently pulling down her silk socks, which had already slipped down to her heels, and stuffing them into her boots.

"Want to shower with me?" Daphne glanced at her sister, hoping to persuade her to stay so someone could scrub her back and massage her.

Astoria blinked, glanced at the rather cramped bathtub, and finally agreed to her sister's request. She guessed what her sister was thinking, but she also wanted someone to give her a massage!

Seeing that her sister had "fallen for it," Daphne was overjoyed. Fearing that her sister might change her mind, she immediately ran to the door and locked the bathroom door from the inside. Then she took off her stockings, tossed them aside, and ran barefoot to the edge of the bathtub to turn on the water.

The design of the bath is quite ingenious. A large, coiled, golden snake is carved around the edge of the bath, and the snake's body perfectly encloses the bath. The snake's head is the faucet for water. Turning the snake's tongue to the left will bring out hot water, while turning it to the right will bring out cold water.

Daphne quickly filled the bath with hot water. In no time, she took off her robe, shirt, trousers, and undershirt, and with a cheer, jumped into the white water.

Astoria frowned: Sister, this is too much... Everyone is eating the same thing!

Then, recalling the question her sister had raised during their previous conversation, Astoria's furrowed brows gradually relaxed: It's just that the nutrients didn't go where they were supposed to; her sister paid a heavy price for it.

Daphne stretched her body in the water like a large white fish, and then let out a joyful sound.

She leaned against the golden snake's body, closed her eyes, and lazily beckoned her younger sister to come in and take a bath together.

Astoria slowly took off her clothes and placed them on the shelf next to the bathtub along with her sister's clothes.

The dirty clothes would then be stuffed into the laundry baskets labeled with their names, and the school's house-elves would collect them, wash and dry them, and then place them by their beds.

Astoria didn't rush into the bath. She took out several small glass bottles from her bath bag and poured the liquid from the bottles into the bath one by one.

These are all fragrances and skin-care elixirs they brought from home.

"Please put that bottle of 'Dream Witch' in here for me. I placed the order before school started, and it was just delivered a couple of days ago. It's supposedly a skincare potion made from a potion recipe left behind by Slytherin." Daphne sniffed, smelling the fragrance. She opened her eyes and asked her sister to put the good stuff she had ordered in.

Astoria raised an eyebrow: "That legendary wizard is in charge of this kind of business?"

"Of course," Daphne said, glancing at her sister with a smug look. "It's said that when the four founders were traveling the world, they came to a bustling town. The town was incredibly lively, filled with people and noise, and various food stalls were everywhere, their aromas filling the air. The gluttonous Hufflepuff was attracted by the lively scene and decided to try the local snacks for himself. As a result, he spent all four of their travel money, and now they don't even have money for lodging."

At this point, Slytherin stepped forward. He found an innkeeper and got him a potion recipe. It was said that after taking a bath with this potion, one's skin would become as white as milk, as smooth as cream, and as elastic as egg white.

The innkeeper concocted a potion according to the recipe and had his daughter try it. She found it to be just as magical as Slytherin had described. He immediately waived the travel expenses for the four founders and offered them a generous reward for their use on their remaining journey.

The news reached the ears of a wealthy wizard, who immediately rushed to the inn and bought the recipe from the owner for a large sum of money, thus ensuring the preservation of this magical potion recipe within his family. Now, a descendant of this family has improved the recipe and is selling it to the general public.

Astoria fell silent.

Does anyone actually believe this?! It's so easy to make money from pure-blood families... So, as a descendant of the Greengrass family, wouldn't the story I make up be even more convincing?

She silently poured the liquid from the snake-shaped bottle into the bathtub, then slid into the tub.

After Astoria joined them, the previously empty bath became somewhat crowded. With the two girls squeezed together, some physical contact was inevitable, and after a few rounds, they started playing around.

After playing for a while, Astoria lay panting by the pool and tossed a bath towel into her sister's arms.

"Sister, can you rub my back for me?" She took the initiative.

Daphne frowned, sensing that something was amiss, yet she couldn't refuse.

So she sighed, pressed herself against her sister, wrapped one arm around her waist, and picked up a bath towel with the other, rubbing her smooth back.

Astoria closed her eyes comfortably, but a few seconds later, her small nose twitched twice, and she opened her eyes, her gaze falling on her sister's dirty socks.

She raised her hand with a look of disdain, and with a gentle push of her magic, the socks were tossed into the corner.

"The flow of magic from the Rice Cult is truly usable!" she exclaimed inwardly.

After scrubbing for a while, Daphne felt tired. She couldn't help but complain again: This lousy pool doesn't even have a massage function! It's so lame!

Astoria looked up, a thoughtful glint in her eyes: "I've heard that the prefects' private baths are not only very large, but also equipped with all sorts of magical spells, including a massage function."

Hearing her sister's words, Daphne said from the bottom of her heart, "Then I'd have to become a class leader to have such a big bath!"
