Ancient Wizards Return to Hogwarts...

Chapter 322 Rice: I don't think Cornelius Fudge is fit for the position of Minister of Magic.

Chapter 322 Rice: I don't think Cornelius Fudge is fit for the position of Minister of Magic.

"Sister! The prefect is a very important position. They are responsible for assisting the professors in managing the school. Only students who are academically excellent, responsible, and dedicated can hold this position," Astoria glared at her sister with dissatisfaction. "Who would want to run for prefect just because their bathtub is bigger!"

"But think about it, it's a huge bath! After a long day, you can fill it with hot water and stretch out your limbs to release all the fatigue in your body—it can even give you a massage!" Daphne patted Astoria's bottom.

The scene her sister described made Astoria's heart flutter: she really couldn't resist the allure of the large public bath, and becoming a prefect was also a way to prove herself...

Daphne continued, "Besides, who else is qualified to be a prefect besides me and Rice? Malfoy?"

She let out a loud, sneer.

In her view, the selection of the prefect seemed like a multiple-choice question, but it was actually a fill-in-the-blank question. The only correct answers were herself and Rice; filling in anyone else would not earn her any points.

Looking at her confident older sister, Astoria fell silent once again: In this day and age, even someone like her sister can become a prefect; Slytherin has truly declined.

The two soaked in the bath for a long time, until the water got a little cold, before they crawled out and wrapped themselves in the bathrobes they had prepared in advance.

"That potion seems to really work! I feel like my arms have gotten a lot whiter," Daphne exclaimed in surprise after carefully observing the condition of her skin.

"Don't you think about how long you've been in the water!" Astoria couldn't help but complain, feeling that her sister had been taken advantage of.

After showering, the two used magic to dry their hair. Returning to their dorm room, they lay down on the soft, large bed and quickly drifted off to sleep.

While Daphne and Astoria enjoyed a hot bath, Rice finished cleaning up early and returned to her dormitory.

Instead of going to bed, he took out a roll of parchment, a quill pen, and a plate of desserts, placed a small table on the bed, and began to write a letter.

He was writing a letter to Henry Greengrass.

As for the content of the letter, it naturally relates to what just happened.

Dear Henry,

Hello. Today, Dementors attacked Hogwarts—don't worry, they've been buried, and no one was harmed. I need you to find out two things for me.

1. Did the Ministry of Magic actually send anyone to monitor the Dementors around Hogwarts? How strong was the Ministry of Magic's control over the Dementors?

2. Who insisted on using Dementors to lock down Hogwarts? If it was Minister Cornelius Fudge, I wonder why he would do it.

I look forward to your reply and wish you all the best.

[Les Lint]

Rice's letter was so short that it left large blank spaces on the parchment.

After writing the letter, he sent it out and then went back to bed for a nap. When he woke up, Henry's reply had already arrived.

He opened the letter, glanced at it, and then let out a cold laugh: The Ministry of Magic hadn't assigned anyone to control the Dementors, and even if they had, they couldn't effectively restrain them. Fudge had sent Dementors to surround Hogwarts to ambush and capture the escaped Sirius Black.

After reading Henry's reply, Rice took two deep breaths to calm himself down.

He then wrote a reply to Henry, which was even shorter than the last one, consisting of only one sentence.

I believe Cornelius Fudge is not fit to be Minister for Magic.

Upon receiving the reply, Henry Greengrass narrowed his eyes, pondered for a moment, and began writing letters to his friends.

Rice's letters were very short, but Henry's letters were extremely long, one after another, and he continued writing until late at night without stopping.

If that sir thinks Cornelius is unsuitable to be Minister for Magic, then Cornelius is unsuitable to be Minister for Magic.

……

Cornelius Fudge was unaware that he had inexplicably offended a group of people; he was currently preoccupied with other matters.

He received two messages after arriving at his office this morning.

The first message came from a Ministry of Magic employee responsible for delivering "supplies" to the Dementors, who reported that the Dementors around Hogwarts had disappeared.

Upon seeing the message, Fudge felt his scalp tingle: those were hundreds of Dementors, not a hundred stray cats! Could such things be thrown away so easily? Then he caught a glimpse of the Hogwarts crest on the letter below, and Fudge immediately sensed something was wrong.

Upon opening it, he discovered it was a letter from Dumbledore.

After reading the letter, he received both good news and bad news—

The good news is that the Dementors have been located.

The bad news is that they broke into Hogwarts.

Upon hearing Dumbledore's words, Fudge felt a cold sweat break out all over his body: if any student were harmed, he would be doomed!

After reading a few more lines, Fudge relaxed again—no one was hurt, and that old man Dumbledore was making a fuss over nothing. He would tell them later not to go into Hogwarts.

After reading Dumbledore's letter, Fudge was shocked because the Dementors he had sent around Hogwarts had all been wiped out!

According to Dumbledore, they were not banished by the Patronus Charm, but rather "buried".

When Fudge saw the message, his first reaction was that Dumbledore was probably just teasing him, but after calming down and thinking about it, he felt that Dumbledore had no motive for doing so, since the Dementors had indeed disappeared.

He was determined to go to Hogwarts no matter what.

Fudge put his silk hat back on and hurried out of the office. In his haste, he didn't notice that many familiar faces in the department were absent from work today.

At this moment, all the absent faces appeared at Greengrass Manor and were invited by Henry to the reception room.

The meeting room was packed with pure-blood family leaders, high-ranking officials from the Ministry of Magic, and other prominent figures in the wizarding world. They all had one thing in common: their children were currently attending Hogwarts.

Once everyone had arrived, Mr. Henry cleared his throat and addressed the assembled people: "I believe everyone here has read my letter, right? Yesterday, Hogwarts was attacked by a mass invasion of Dementors."

As soon as he finished speaking, Lucius raised his cane, interrupting Mr. Henry.

"Excuse me for being so bold, Mr. Henry, how did you know that Dementors had invaded Hogwarts yesterday? My son attends Hogwarts, and he didn't write to me about this earth-shattering event."

Henry glanced at him and said coldly, "That's because the Dementors triggered Hogwarts' defenses, and they've all been 'buried'."
