Chapter 47 Arrival in London
Chapter 47 Arrival in London
Wes hadn't gone far from the pub when he fell into deep thought. He only knew that Jack Sparrow would appear in London, and he had to get there before the plot began; otherwise, with the vast ocean ahead, he wouldn't know where the Fountain of Youth was.
He sensed approaching footsteps and stared intently into the dark jungle. He said in a deep voice, "Come out."
A rustling sound was heard, and a sexy and beautiful woman with healthy brown skin came out.
Her long hair cascaded down her shoulders like a waterfall, exuding a sense of mystery and allure in the night.
Behind her, a burly, shirtless Black man followed closely behind, his muscles clearly defined, seemingly brimming with boundless power.
"Beautiful lady, are you a pirate too?" Wes squinted slightly as he sized up the woman.
"Mr. Wizard," Angelica bowed gracefully to Wes, her stunning figure on full display under Wes's gaze.
However, Weiss ignored her charm and instead focused his attention on the black man behind her.
"Interesting. I didn't expect to encounter a resurrected corpse here. Is this your doing, ma'am?"
Angelica was somewhat startled that Wes would recognize the reanimated corpse.
The resurrected corpse immediately shielded Angelica behind it, filled with vigilance and wariness.
"It seems it wasn't you. The resurrected corpse was just ordered to protect you. It seems you have a good relationship with the Voodoo sorcerers," Wes said, noticing at a glance that Angelica had no trace of magic.
Wes already knew the identity of the woman in front of him.
Angelica tried to calm herself and said softly, "Mr. Wizard..."
Her voice, though soft, carried a barely perceptible tremor in the slightly tense atmosphere.
"Madam, I'm very busy. Please state your purpose directly." Erwin's tone was firm and direct. His attitude was like a solid wall, leaving Angelica feeling somewhat at a loss.
She stared at Erwin, a strange, inexplicable panic welling up inside her.
She has a beautiful face and can easily win the favor of the opposite sex. Her exquisite features are like a work of art carefully sculpted by a master. Her bright eyes are as clear as lake water and her slightly upturned lips are as delicate as flower petals.
However, Erwin seemed unmoved; he belonged to the few who were immune to her charm.
"I just want to know why you're looking for Jack Sparrow," Angelica said, mustering her courage.
"This is none of your business, ma'am." Erwin's words were concise and cold, causing Angelica to tremble slightly.
Angelica instinctively placed her hand lightly on the gun at her waist; the cold metallic touch seemed to offer her a sense of comfort.
Her fingers lightly touched the gun handle.
"In that case, I was presumptuous." Angelica's voice carried a hint of helplessness and disappointment as she slowly stepped back.
"Wait a minute." Erwin's voice suddenly rang out, and Angelica's heart jumped into her throat.
[Is he going to make a move?] Countless thoughts flashed through her mind in an instant.
The resurrected corpse gripped an axe tightly with both hands, its muscles taut, ready to fight to protect Angelica at any moment.
However, Angelica stopped him in time.
She was unwilling to antagonize this mysterious wizard until the very last moment, as the consequences of a conflict would be unimaginable.
"Which direction is London?" Irwin's tone remained calm, as if the tense atmosphere from just moments ago had never existed.
"Go east, just keep going east and you'll get there." Angelica replied quickly, hoping the conversation would end soon.
"Thank you," Wes said briefly, and then, to Angelica's astonishment, his figure suddenly rose into the air.
"My God," she murmured, "we have to find Jack before him."
Unfortunately, Wes thought so too. He had already recognized the woman as Jack Sparrow's girlfriend, and he had to find Jack Sparrow before she did.

Wes sped towards London in his meticulously modified luxury flying car. He had painstakingly built the car after Christmas, with his twin brothers also contributing significantly to the modifications.
The interior is spacious, almost like a small apartment. Wes even put a comfortable bed inside, making it practically a small hotel in the air.
The flying car was extremely fast, like a bolt of lightning streaking across the sky.
As the sun just peeked over the horizon, Weiss could already see the outline of London. The vast city lay silently on the earth like a sleeping giant.
After crossing the Thames, Wes chose a secluded spot to land and cast an invisibility spell to ensure that no one could spot his flying car.
The appearance of 17th-century London unfolded before Weiss's eyes.
The streets are narrow and winding, paved with cobblestones. Walking on them, the crisp sound of footsteps echoes, like the whispers of history, telling the story of this city's past.
The road is lined with closely packed wooden houses, which look slightly weathered by time, with mottled colors on their walls.
The roof tiles shimmered faintly in the sunlight, and a few pigeons occasionally perched on them, adding a touch of life to this ancient city.
The silhouettes of those pigeons, like dancing musical notes, add a touch of vibrancy to the city.
Not a single mistake, not a single poem, not a single post, not a single piece of content, not a single look!
London's commercial districts are bustling with activity, lined with shops and signs displaying a dazzling array of goods, from fabrics and spices to books and all sorts of trinkets.
Merchants stood at their shop entrances, enthusiastically beckoning customers with bright smiles on their faces. Their voices rose and fell, creating a lively symphony.
The women, dressed in long skirts and hats, carried baskets and carefully selected fresh vegetables and fruits. The men, in robes and top hats, were either discussing business or exchanging political views.
The port of London was bustling with activity.
Huge sailboats were moored on the shore, their masts soaring into the clouds, their sails billowing in the wind.
The sailors busily moved cargo, chests of treasure and bundles of goods were transported from afar and then shipped to all parts of the world.
The air in the harbor was filled with the salty smell of the sea and the aroma of goods, and seagulls soared in the sky, making clear calls.
The calls, like joyful songs, added a touch of vibrancy to the bustling port.
At this time, Britain, with its powerful navy and the East India Company, plundered wealth from all over the world and was known as the "Empire on which the sun never sets." However, none of this concerned Weiss.
He was concerned about whether he had missed the deadline.
After some investigation, Wes realized that he had arrived a bit too early; there hadn't been any major disturbances in London recently.
He settled comfortably in London, intending to sample the cuisine of the era.
Wes was soon disappointed. As expected of Britain, known as a "culinary desert," the various bizarre dishes almost gave him psychological trauma.
The food tasted strange and was difficult to swallow; it was a complete disaster for the sense of taste.
Even those desserts that look exquisite are so sweet they're cloying, as if they've been soaked in syrup, making them hard to enjoy.
Several days passed quickly, and Wes finally received news from Jack Sparrow.
