Chapter 10 The Elf Kingdom

Amberlie entered the palace of the Elf Kingdom and met Her Majesty the Queen on a clock tower covered with lush vines in the castle.

She was sitting in a chair engraved with magical patterns, her back to the door and her face to the window, lost in thought.

Although she couldn't see the Queen's expression, Amberley could sense her weariness and confusion—she wasn't wearing makeup, her thick black hair was loose, and she was wearing a simple nightgown.

In other words, the Queen did not go downstairs after getting up today, and also refused visitors.

Today, however, two delegations, one of orcs and one of humans, have arrived.

After a while, seeing that the Queen had not noticed the princess's arrival, a servant in the room stepped forward to remind her, "Your Majesty, Lil has arrived."

The Elf Queen turned to look at her, and seeing Amberel had arrived, she smiled and beckoned her to come forward: "Why didn't you say anything when you came, Amberel?"

"His Majesty."

Amberlie clasped her hands together in front of her chest and bowed to the queen who had led the Elven race for over five hundred years.

The Queen smiled and said, "It's rare for Lily to return to the capital in the middle of the month. Did she come specifically because she knew two princes would be visiting today?"

An ordinary young girl would be embarrassed by such teasing, but Amberley simply shook her head and said, "I've come today because I have something important to report to His Majesty."

She briefly recounted how Lin An had summoned her to Earth.

The Elf Queen's gaze, initially filled with care and affection, gradually turned serious as she asked, "Have you tested for any traces of hallucinogenic magic?"

Amberlie wasn't angry. She said earnestly, "I believe I haven't been deceived, but to ensure Your Majesty will believe me, please have me tested."

It includes not only psychedelic magic, but also mental enslavement, transfiguration, and other forms of magic.

The Queen's meaning was simple: because Amberley had said many unbelievable things, the Queen suspected that she might be being misled.

The Elf Queen stared at her for a while before suddenly laughing, "Let's forget it. The elven bloodline that Lily possesses was extremely pure and powerful even in ancient times. It would be difficult for even a god to bewitch or enslave you."

After thinking for a moment, he said, "Your experience is quite bizarre. I'd like to go to the council hall with you later to discuss it with the elders. What do you think?"

Amberley agreed, sat down in the chair, her expression softening, and smiled at the Queen, "Flora hasn't come downstairs today?"

Flora is the name of the Elf Queen.

She sighed, "When you returned to the capital, you didn't see either of the diplomatic corps?"

Lil tilted her head and thought for a moment, "When I entered the palace, I saw about a dozen humans on the steps leading up the mountain, and several orcs in front of the palace's reception hall."

The Queen said, "The elders are receiving them. You've come at the right time. Come with me to greet them later."

Amberley hesitated.

"Don't you want to be a princess?" the Queen asked her.

If Amberley wants to be an elf princess, she should actively participate in the affairs of the elf kingdom and gain more recognition.

Lil was silent for a moment before answering, "I don't know, Flora. Do you want me to be a princess?"

She was some distance away from the Queen, who was sitting by the window, but the distance did not affect their relationship.

Flora gazed at the holy and beautiful Lil before her, knowing in her heart that she was well-suited to be the leader of the elven race, but not the next queen of the elven kingdom.

On the contrary, Dewyn is suited to be the king of the elven kingdom, but not to lead the elven race.

"Your Majesty, the delegation from the Orc Kingdom and the delegation from the Turan Empire are arguing!"

An elven attendant rushed to report.

Flora stood up and said to Lil, "Let's go, I'll take you to see them."

……

In the reception hall, Amberley met with the delegations from both countries.

The two sides sat separately on the left and right. On the left was the delegation from the Orc Kingdom. Most of them had thick hair and their burly bodies required them to sit in the large chairs that were made for them.

On the right is the Turan Empire, which has a larger population.

Upon seeing the Elf Queen enter with a strange elf, the orc prince Zanes' eyes blazed with greed. He first looked at the Queen, then stared intently at the beautiful elf behind her, his head turning as she walked, his lust for women written all over his face.

"snort!"

In the Turan Empire, someone sneered, "The orcs truly live up to their reputation as the most uncouth and filthy race on the continent. Even in the renownedly elegant and noble Elven Kingdom, and before the beautiful Miss Amberriel, you cannot conceal your lewd nature!"

The speaker was Zea Graham, the fourth prince of the Turan Empire.

To his surprise, even though he praised Miss Amberley, she didn't even glance at him. She simply followed the Elf Queen in and stood behind her, listening silently.

The group of orcs were enraged by the insults and retaliated.

"Dear guests who have come from afar."

The Queen's voice reached everyone's ears, and the hall quickly returned to silence.

After a moment, Queen Flora smiled and said, "Welcome to the Elf Kingdom."

"Your Majesty the Queen!" Prince Zea stood up, bowed, and then glanced at the elf Amberriel, who stood behind the Elf Queen, appearing even more noble and pure, before pointing to the orc delegation and saying, "If our guests include them, then I believe that all of humanity regards the Elf Kingdom as an enemy!"

The enmity between orcs and humans has a long history. Although the Turan Empire and the orc kingdoms do not border each other, they still harbor hostility towards each other.

Prince Zanes retorted with a cold laugh, "Aren't humans and elves enemies now? Human nobles take pride in enslaving and raising elves, and revel in slaughtering and destroying orcs, dwarves, and dragons. All these races you have driven away should unite, or there will be no place for us on the continent!"

Are you kidding me?

Zeya retorted, "Whether it's the Turan Empire, the Kingdom of Saint Anca, or any other country, there's a long-standing consensus that servants must not be treated cruelly. Nobles don't take pride in enslaving elves; rather, they consider marrying a beautiful elf as a source of family pride and a legacy!"

The elven bloodline is very powerful, and many illegitimate children, because they show some elven blood, are officially brought back to the family by nobles.

"Furthermore," Zeya pointed at them and replied, "now that magic is waning and the gods have retreated, you orcs, lacking the protection of numerous mythical creatures, have turned around and accused humans of cruelty. Have you forgotten how you orcs attacked humans in the past?!"

Both sides have their own version of events.

Even the orcs, known for their recklessness, were all eloquent and articulate in their mission to the elves, explaining the advantages and disadvantages and attempting to win over the elven kingdom.

Amberley disliked such conflicts.

After hearing the reasons for their respective missions, he left first, while Dewyn, who had been chosen as a prince by many elves, continued to listen in.
