Paying The Price

Fiona couldn't believe what her ears just heard. Diana was serving what she had been working frantically to get in a platter of gold.

Unless she was just pulling her legs.

"You think I'm stupid?" Fiona raised her brow at Diana, she wasn't going to fall for her trap.

Diana casually replied as she looked at her finger nails "For a woman who would wait on a married man for five years? Yes, yes you are."

Fiona was furious, Diana had grown some balls and she had to pop them.

"Look, am gonna say this and I'll say it once. It's my court, my game, my rules. End whatever madness you're doing today and get me my lawyer by tomorrow. OK."

Dian picked up her purse, stood up and was about to leave.

"Oh! And if you think of doing things your way, I'll resort to plan B. Wayne may not love me like he loves you but I have a card, a triumph card. My daughter. He would do anything for his blood, wouldn't he? So choose wisely." After concluding, Diana left Fiona dumbstruck.

The proposal of getting a lawyer was too good to miss, but Fiona didn't want to directly drive a wedge between them, she still wanted the sheep mask on. Who knew Diana was a step ahead, threatening to use her to make her do her bidding. If the former Diana asked Wayne to stop the building from being bought, he was most likely to listen to Fiona, now his daughter got majority of his attention and love, even Madam Edna spoke favourably of her yesterday at a Tea Party.

Left with no chose, Fiona complied with extreme hatred for both mother and daughter, if things went her way, she would definitely not let them off.
