Paying The Price

Chapter 60 - Too Bad She Never Did Try To Find Her Family.

"Diana's parents didn't have the same last name with her. Plus they also had convincing backgrounds like a next of kin, although he died before they did."

"Maybe they left her with her real last name so that she could use it to trace her origin." Leon said. He also took part in investing about Diana, her parents really took their time forging their identities, it was so convincing and that may be the reason her grandfathers couldn't find her. Until now.

"Too bad she never did try to find her family. After realizing her parents had a different surname from her, she felt it was useless to find someone who may not even care she existed."

Nikki knew this for as long as she could remember she had always been by Diana's side, sharing everything with each other, belongings, dreams, problems, secrets and even inner thoughts.

Diana was everything to Nikki, a sister, a friend also a mother. Thinking back about their favourably and troublesome seasons together, Nikki found absolutely no reason to let Diana face this situation alone. She didn't care how dangerous or demanding the task ahead may be, she was ready to help out in every way possible she could.

"So should we just call Henry and ask him to hand over the girls or else...?" Gabriel may not have completed his statement but the others were aware of what 'or else' meant.

But Wayne perceived something out of the ordinary "Henry doesn't reside in Spain, even if he's there presently he would most likely take Diana straight to his home in London."

Anything could crop up that may lead to unexpected decisions, but whatever the case they shouldn't rush. Every action and every choice should be taken with caution and accurate planning. Diana and Pearl's future were at stake, even his "We should head to Spain first before taking any decisions."

The red dot on the tab representing the hair pin on Pearl caught Wayne's attention, he resolved in his heart to protect them at all cost.

......

Zach pulled over, he got down from the car and looked around, this didn't go unnoticed by Diana "What is it?" She asked.

"I think we're been followed."

"By who?"

"I don't know, whoever it is is really good, I can't see him but I just feel it."

Diana examined her surroundings, things seemed fine but from her recent experience she knew better than to take things lightly "Let's just go in." She held Pearl's hands and followed Zach inside the house before them.

It was a really big house almost like a mansion, the environment was especially quiet and peaceful. It was designed beautifully probably for a large family.

"Welcome, it's good to finally see you Diana." A man walked up to them with his arms opened wide, his physical appearance were very similar to Zach's, his aura was fiercely cold and intimidating but yet he had a smiley face on.

With a slight nod she answered. Grey's eyes suddenly landed on little sugar "You must be....."

"Pearl." Pearl stretched out her hand for a handshake as she interrupted him.
