Why bother with dating when you already have a cat?

In the future, fathers-in-law who have their testicles removed will most likely sing a song of tears behind bars here.

Behind the operating room was a place where various testing instruments were placed. Ai Qing had never been to the instrument room of another pet hospital before, and today she learned something new.

If you go further in, you'll find storage rooms, changing rooms, and staff lounges.

This pet hospital doesn't look big, but it's small yet has everything you need. From what I've seen so far, it seems pretty good.

Xiao Youqian scheduled interviews with this group of job applicants for a time between 1:30 pm and 3 pm.

But it wasn't even 1:30 yet, and people were already waiting in the lobby.

Ai Qing estimated that there were already seven or eight people.

Ai Qing, who was quite curious about this kind of interview, did not refuse Xiao Youqian's invitation and voluntarily followed Sister Qian into the consultation room that was temporarily used as the interview venue, and sat next to her to "keep the show".

Xiao Youqian graduated with a master's degree this year and is already 26 years old. Today, she specially wore a more mature style of makeup, and it's hard to see the pink and innocent charm that is unique to young girls.

As for Ai Qing, if she doesn't speak and just sits there with a stern face, she still has a certain intimidating presence.

This caused the first young woman to enter to be quite nervous, and her arm trembled slightly when she handed her resume to Ai Qing.

Sigh... If my online novel flops, I might have to go out and find a job like this in the future.

Ai Qing thought to herself.

His mother could make it easier for him to get a job at the company, but she was only the deputy director of a branch office, not the company owner. Ai Qing was still naive and didn't really want to rely on connections.

If he really can't support himself by writing online novels after graduation, he will definitely try to find a job first.

"Xu Wenjing, right?" Xiao Youqian took the resume Ai Qing handed her and glanced at it briefly. "You worked at a pet hospital in the main urban area for four months before?"

“That’s right.” Xu Wenjing nodded repeatedly.

Xiao Youqian asked some questions according to the procedure.

A few minutes later, she nodded and said, "Okay, you can go out now. Go back and wait for our notification. You should hear back in three days at most."

"Okay, thank you." Xu Wenjing stood up, bowed to express her gratitude, and left the consultation room.

……

For the next hour or so, Xiao Youqian interviewed about ten people.

Most of them are just applying for assistant or receptionist positions, which can be done in a few minutes.

Among the applicants for the veterinary doctor position, only one male and one female doctor had surgical experience, both of whom were formally trained veterinary graduates.

The former has been a veterinarian for ten years, which is considered senior and he has relatively rich experience.

The latter graduated three years ago, and for the first two years he was a veterinary assistant. He only has one year of experience as a veterinarian. He can handle spaying and neutering surgery without much problem, but he has performed relatively few major surgeries, such as fractures or internal organ surgeries.

"Phew~ I'm so tired."

After the interview, Xiao Youqian leaned back in her chair and stretched, revealing her alluring curves.

Ai Qing ignored this and focused intently on the two doctors' resumes in front of her, curious about Xiao Youqian's choice: "Which one are you planning to hire?"

"What do you think?" Xiao Youqian asked with a smile.

"The man?" Although she was reluctant, Ai Qing still chose to answer, "After all, he's more experienced."

Actually, he preferred the female doctor.

It's not that Ai Qing has any improper thoughts because she's beautiful.

He simply felt that if the doctor was a woman, then even if something went wrong when he brought Xiaoyu to see a doctor or have a check-up, it would be within acceptable limits.

If a male doctor in his thirties or forties were present, Ai Qing would feel quite uncomfortable.

No matter how well-behaved Xiaoyu is, after what happened these past two days, Ai Qing is unlikely to let another man touch Xiaoyu.

That damn possessiveness and controlling nature of theirs...

"They're definitely choosing female doctors." Xiao Youqian picked up the resume of the girl named "Jia Zhenqian" and said with a grin, "Didn't you notice? This is my senior, okay?"

"You graduated from the same school?" Ai Qing asked in surprise.

“Yes, he’s three years older than me.” Xiao Youqian nodded. “As for experience, as long as he can perform sterilization surgery, that’s enough. Such special major surgeries are rarely seen. There’s no need to spend a lot of money to hire that male doctor for such special circumstances.”

"Besides, if there's a major surgery I'm not confident about, I can ask for outside help," Xiao Youqian chuckled.

She graduated from a local school in Hangzhou, so she's not worried about having outside help.

Hearing her say that, Ai Qing stopped worrying.

"If there's nothing else, I'll head back now?" Ai Qing had intended to ask about precautions for girls taking measurements and buying clothes, but she changed her mind before she could finish her sentence.

hateful!

You're not thick-skinned enough to ask that kind of question face-to-face!

I'll ask you on WeChat later...

"Okay, I'm still busy. I'll treat you to a meal once things settle down!"

"Okay, I'll be going now."

Ai Qing quickly got up to say goodbye. Before leaving, Xiao Youqian stuffed two bags of cat food and cat litter, as well as a bunch of cat treats and freeze-dried food, as a gift for Xiao Yu.

However, just as Ai Qing walked into the house carrying two large bags of things, wanting to share his joy with Xiao Yu, he heard some strange noises coming from the bedroom.

Bang! Clang!

I don't know what's causing this sound.

Ai Qing looked puzzled. After temporarily putting her things in the living room, she opened the door and went into the bedroom.

Then he froze instantly.

A girl wearing only a blue coat was kneeling on the floor with her buttocks sticking up high, her back to him, and her head and half of her shoulder were stuck in the entrance of the enclosed litter box.

Ai Qing watched this scene, her lips slightly parted, lost in thought, unsure how to comment on it.

Chapter 11 is such a familiar plot.

For some reason, seeing this comical yet erotic scene before her, Ai Qing couldn't help but think of a few things she had seen before.

However, in those videos, the woman was not stuck in the litter box, but in places like under the washing machine or bed.

Looking at the little fish on the ground with its buttocks sticking up high because its head and half an arm were stuck, Ai Qing forced herself to look away.

He was only thankful that his coat was big enough, and that the little fish was small enough after it turned into a human.

So even in this position, the hem of the coat is still at the mid-thigh level.

From Ai Qing's current height, she definitely wouldn't be able to see any specific beautiful scenery.

Even so, seeing the pure white cat tail peeking out from under the coat hem, swaying back and forth in mid-air, Ai Qing automatically imagined all sorts of scenes.

It's hard.

The fist has hardened!

Ai Qing clenched her fists, trying to calm herself down and forcing herself to think about what she should do now.

First of all.

If you don't care about anything, that's actually fine too.

Anyway, I estimate that in a few minutes at most, the little fish will change back into its cat form from its human form, and then everything will be resolved.

However, Ai Qing wouldn't be that heartless.

He sighed and walked over to the litter box to observe it.

"Ugh... Ahh..."

Whoosh whoosh~

From inside came the incomprehensible chirping of small fish and the sound of a hand constantly digging in the cat litter.

Her toes were still kicking and struggling outside, she looked really anxious.

Although the body has become human, the brain is still that of a cat.

After Ai Qing got closer to see the situation clearly, she scanned the bedroom again and found a trash can lying on its side, a blanket half lying on the floor, and a small lamp that was originally on the bedside table but was now lying sadly on the floor.

The lights were still on.

What a masterpiece!

Ai Qing was used to this, chuckled, squatted down next to Xiao Yu, and carefully examined the entrance to the litter box.

how to say……

If it's just a head sticking in, given the size of the litter box entrance, it certainly wouldn't get stuck.

But the little fish clearly climbed in with one arm first, and then forced its head in, which caused it to get stuck.

Ai Qing wasn't worried about her getting stuck, since the outer shell of the litter box was made of soft, flexible plastic, which wasn't very hard. At most, it would just hurt a little if she got stuck.

He patted her on the back to comfort her, but Ai Qing was now more worried about something else.

Since Xiaoyu wanted to climb into the litter box when she became human, does that mean she will also have the need to go to the toilet after she becomes human?

Or did she simply want to sneak in and play in the cat litter box?

Although the litter box is a place for kittens to go to the toilet, Xiaoyu sometimes gets bored and will run in to simply dig in the litter box.

I don't know what kind of quirk it is.

Ai Qing's current concern is that the little fish, now transformed into a human, still has a cat-like mindset and has no idea how to use the toilet.

Does this mean we'll have to make her squat in the litter box to relieve herself from now on?

Depend on!

The scene is so beautiful I almost dare not look.

Moreover, what's the mechanism behind this?

After all, kittens only eat a small amount each day, which is obviously not much when converted to human food intake.

The energy required to transform into human form is definitely insufficient.

Ai Qing, thinking rationally with a scientific mindset, suddenly realized that this might be the reason why the little fish couldn't maintain its human form for too long each day.
