One Piece: Blue Scale Admiral

The lark, her eyes blurred with tears, knelt on the ground, her legs weak, staring blankly at the figure that was gradually flying towards her.
"Brother Luo Xia."
Before Akainu and Dragon, the four Satans, who had been lying like limp mud, also collapsed and died with the arrival of the newcomers.
All of this seemed to indicate that the person had achieved final victory.
However, Akainu and Dragon's faces remained tense, and instead of smiling, their expressions became even more solemn.
They watched nervously as Rorschach flew in from the sea and slowly landed in front of them.
Before them, Luo Xia was dressed in a spotless white military uniform, his body completely unharmed.
His long hair was still silver-white, casually draped over his shoulders, but what horrified Akainu and Dragon was that Rorschach's eyes had changed from their original azure blue to swirling, overlapping pupils.
"You...are you really Rorschach?" Dragon asked with difficulty, his voice stunning everyone who was immersed in the joy of victory and Rorschach's return.
Hibari, who had been happily running towards Luo Xia, gradually slowed down, and worry and fear began to grow in her eyes as she looked at Luo Xia.
Facing the gazes that gathered around him, Rorschach slowly curled up a gentle smile, but instead of answering Dragon's question, he looked at Akainu and said something that shocked everyone present.
"Uncle Sakazuki, kill me."
Akainu clenched his fist and stepped out from beside Dragon, whose body was shaking violently. He slowly walked up to Rorschach, looked at the boy he had rescued from the North Sea, his lips moved but he said nothing. Instead, amidst the horrified gazes of those around him, he slowly raised his fist, which emitted black smoke and lava.
"No! Don't!" Yun Que staggered over, letting out a heart-wrenching scream, desperately reaching out to stop him.
"Akainu! What are you trying to do? Stop right now!" Sengoku exclaimed in horror, rushing towards them.
At the same time, the naval officers standing around, and the people Rorschach knew, also rushed towards Akainu and Rorschach, trying to stop them.
But it was too late.
Akainu, his face as hard as iron, gritted his steel teeth and let out a beastly roar from deep in his throat. Under Rorschach's gratified, grateful, and apologetic gaze, he punched through Rorschach's defenseless chest, piercing through Rorschach's heart, and scalding magma shot out from behind him.
"Thank you, Uncle Sakazuki."
Luo Xia gave a grateful smile, his body slowly slumped down, falling into Yun Que's arms, and gently closed his eyes.
Chapter 846 A Belated Author's Closing Remarks
I originally planned to write some side stories before writing this closing remarks, but the latest chapter of the manga has given me some things I need to say, and I'd like to share them with you all.
This epilogue includes a summary of the book's content and achievements, answers to reader questions, plans for side stories, possible new books, and most importantly, a thank you message.
This book has reached over three million words, and that wouldn't have been possible without the support of all my fellow readers. Whether it's subscriptions, donations, votes, monthly tickets, comments, or even those who pointed out errors, I, Rong Daoren, would like to express my sincere gratitude to you all. Thank you everyone.
Especially those who subscribed to the entire book and many chapters—despite the many flaws in the plot, action sequences, and character development, many of you still subscribed and followed along. This touched and moved me deeply. Without your subscriptions, I might have given up halfway through. Although these subscriptions may seem insignificant compared to other books of the same genre, they are incredibly important to me, a newbie who has only written my second contracted book on Qidian, though it can truly be considered my first.
This book was first uploaded on June 10, 2023, and ended on July 31, 2024, totaling 410 days of serialization and 309 million words. During that time, I never took a day off or missed a single day of updates. Even including the free updates before it was officially released, the average daily update count exceeded 7500 words. This update volume is simply unbelievable for me, a poor student who couldn't even write an 800-word essay in high school.
At the same time, this is the book I have written with the most words, the longest serialization period, the best results, and the most readers since I started writing.
Although the results were really just average, I'm still very happy to be honest. Thanks again to my brothers for their support.

Speaking of results, at the beginning of this book, I even gave up because I was worried about not being able to get a contract.
As we all know, when writing a book on Qidian, there are two ways to get a contract: direct submission for review and internal submission. Neither method is better or worse, but the latter requires less time investment. You only need to write three chapters of 6,000 words and submit them through the editor's email address. The editor will then tell you whether your work is up to standard and whether it has commercial value on the Qidian website.
If it's rejected, the only price to pay is a 6,000-word opening paragraph, and you have plenty of time to continue writing after the rejection.
Direct submissions, on the other hand, take some time to be cross-reviewed by editors. If approved, you'll receive a private message from the website before signing a contract. However, during this process, you still need to consistently update at least four thousand words daily.
When I had updated to 50,000 words, there was still no sign of a contract, and I was very anxious. To be honest, I even considered giving up, but with the encouragement of some readers, I persevered. That's how I ended up being rescued by Bacon and having this One Piece fanfiction.
I still clearly remember that when I signed my first contract on Qidian, it was also a One Piece fanfiction, One Piece: King of Kings. I was so excited and full of ambition that I wanted to write millions of words. But I had to give up because the novel only had 300 collections after 200,000 words.
A reader once tipped me 1000 coins, encouraging me to keep writing, but I gave up, and I've always felt guilty towards that reader.
But I digress. Let's get back to the book's achievements.
Although this book is a significant improvement over the previous one, it is still not considered good.
The recommended novel, "One Round of Travel," had just reached 5,000 favorites before its release and 382 initial subscriptions. Until its conclusion on the 31st, its average subscriptions never exceeded 1,000. If it weren't for the frequent updates, it would probably have had to rely on the minimum subscription every month, which was quite dismal.
But the Taoist is an easily satisfied newcomer. He said at the beginning that as long as there are still a hundred readers subscribing to this book, it will not be abandoned, it will not be interrupted, and he will continue to write it until it is finished.
[PS: Actually, at one point the number of subscribers had dropped to only around eighty per day...]
As a hardcore novel enthusiast who has been reading novels for over a decade, I wouldn't want the novel I'm following to suddenly stop updating for any reason. I know all too well the frustrating feeling of paying money to read a novel only to find that it suddenly stops being written.
At the same time, an author who frequently stops updating or abandons projects is likely to damage their reputation, which can lead to a significant loss of potential readers. This is especially true for someone like me who is a newbie in the industry. This is why many authors abandon projects and then switch to a different account. Therefore, I have always been very cautious about this. Even when I was hospitalized for half a month, I wrote on my phone in the hospital. Even though the writing wasn't very good because of my condition at the time, I still dared not stop updating.
Sorry for rambling, let's move on to the next part.
[Contents]
I divided this book into seven volumes, but there are actually only six volumes. The second and third volumes were separated due to the reasons for their release.
Volume One, The Qilin of the North Sea
Volume Two: God's Nemesis
Volume Three: The Fall of a Legend
Volume 4, Candidate for General
Volume 5, Marineford War
Volume 6, General Lan Lin
You can roughly tell what a volume is about just by looking at the title. Originally, I was thinking of reviewing each volume with my brothers, talking about the creative ideas at the time and the parts that were not well written, but considering that there will be new readers later, I will not spoil too much here.
However, there are still some things that can be said about the content and creative ideas, and this will not affect the spoiler.
First, there's the book's title, Blue Kirin General. It's a bit of a mouthful, but it's not complicated to understand; it simply means a blue Kirin (a mythical creature). The title was chosen to match the color and animal of the general's codename, as well as the protagonist's Kirin Fruit ability. Many people have said it's a bad name, but actually, I think it's alright…
Then comes the protagonist's name, Rorschach.
Some people have also said that the name is inappropriate and doesn't sound good.
Its inspiration comes from Rorschach, the superhero in the movie Watchmen. Rorschach is my favorite character in the Watchmen movies. He experienced a tragic childhood comparable to Guts, growing up in a world full of filth and dirt, which fostered a violent but not evil soul.
Unlike the Master, he lacked self-control when facing criminals. He believed that evildoers should be punished accordingly, resorting to violence with cruelty and showing no mercy. He didn't even bother with pretense, making him unpopular with both sides and rejected by both justice and evil. His actions appeared eccentric and brutal to others, yet he remained steadfast in his unwavering belief in justice until his death, preferring to be killed by Dr. Manhattan rather than accept the false lie of Ozymandias sacrificing a portion of his life for world peace.
He is like V from V for Vendetta, like Guts from Berserk, never compromising in the face of darkness and evil.
At the same time, the name Rorschach is applicable in both Chinese and English, which saves the need to use two names, one for the past life and one for the present life, like the Queen of Best Friends, or the name Ron, which is used so often in One Piece fanfiction but is used by even fewer people.
The story I wanted to write using the name Rorschach is one of someone who experiences various hardships, battles, eliminates pirates, ends the Great Pirate Era, destroys the World Government, and ultimately sacrifices his own life for justice.
This should be a suitable outline for most naval-themed novels.
Justice in the world of One Piece is a heavy burden, especially in the later stages of the manga, as more and more of the World Government's dark side is revealed, making the Navy's position increasingly awkward.
The World Government's practice of massacring a non-member nation every three years makes the justice upheld by veteran Marines like Sengoku and Garp seem like a joke.
Zephyr dedicated his life to the Navy, working diligently and conscientiously, only to have his wife and children die tragically, as did his students. The person who was responsible for all of this was invited by the World Government to become a Shichibukai, and in the end, he died at the hands of his own students.
T. Penn, a tough and resolute man who cherished his subordinates, was killed by the Cross Guild with a bounty on his head, and the Navy made no comment, completely tarnishing the powerful image that the Navy Headquarters had built up in the early stages.
Smoker's early character development was excellent, but his later marginalization due to Coby made the Navy increasingly lackluster. Garp's departure, Aokiji's defection, and Akainu becoming Fleet Admiral and being sealed in Mary Geoise left the New World without a single Navy force capable of standing alone and directly confronting the Four Emperors.
The portrayal of Koby is, in a way, hard to describe.
Our protagonist, Rorschach, emerged from this predicament. He carries the dreams of many of the Marines' commanders: to change the Navy, make up for its shortcomings, end the Great Pirate Era, break the shackles, and overthrow the World Government's rule.
He was rescued by Akainu from the North Blue, and then killed by Akainu in the end. This is a cycle, an end, and also a new beginning.
Speaking of comics, the recent Egg Point Island storyline has completely brought down the prestige of the Five Elders and Im.
I originally thought that the mysterious Im, after all, had defeated Joy Boy, destroyed a massive kingdom, ruled over nineteen kings, sat atop the Empty Throne, and was worshipped by the Five Elders as the King of the World, the God of the Celestial Dragons. His prestige couldn't be lower than Shanks', right? At the very least, he should be on par with Joy Boy, otherwise how could he be a match for Luffy, the Sun God?
But as soon as the latest chapter was released, the overwhelming aura that Joy Boy had sealed within an ancient robot eight hundred years ago terrified Im, causing him to tremble all over and scream on his knees. This…
Judging from Im's performance, I don't know how Joey Boy lost back then.
I used to not believe people who said Blackbeard was the final boss, but now I'm starting to believe it.
[Q&A]
What is my pen name, Shuigong Daoren?
Because my name contains the character "Jiang," when I first registered my account, I really wanted to write fantasy novels, so I chose this simple and straightforward name. But I didn't expect that writing One Piece fanfiction would seem a bit out of place. Fortunately, I'm a newbie, so it doesn't matter what my pen name is.
Did Rorschach really die in the end?
He is indeed dead, but this is the world of One Piece, a world full of fantasy, so anything is possible, and he cannot be considered completely dead.
For example, there is a rainbow mist in this world that allows people to travel back in time. Although this plot is original to the anime, in this book, whether it is the movie, the game character [Red Earl], anything related to One Piece, or even the official novel, can be connected together and considered as something in the same world.
There is also the concept of the inheritance of will.
As the quack doctor Hiluluk said, when does a person truly die? When they are completely forgotten.
Someone like Rorschach, with his fascinating past, countless friends, enemies, admirers, haters, and ultimately the one who ended it all, is destined to be remembered for a long time in this book.
To be honest, I originally wanted to write an ending similar to ascension, where Luo Xia becomes a god and becomes the mythical beast Qilin that protects the world. But after thinking about it carefully, wouldn't that contradict his actions all along?
The world of One Piece doesn't need gods, whether they are evil or good.
Speaking of which, I have to mention the line in the manga that D is the natural enemy of God. Now that Luffy himself has become the sun god, it seems a bit... well...
It would be more accurate to say that D is the Celestial Dragons' natural enemy.
【Extras】
I'll be writing some side stories soon, but not many, because the main storyline is already finished. Although it was a bit rushed, Luo Xia has indeed lived up to his beliefs.
But it's not like there's nothing to write about.
For example, after the World Government is destroyed, the sea rises and the world sinks. What will happen to the world after it sinks?
For example, Zoro's path to becoming the world's greatest swordsman, the development of the G5 Navy, the NEO Navy, the Navy Headquarters, and the Revolutionary Army, etc.
I will write the first chapter of the extra tomorrow night, and I may post it that night. Since the book is already finished, there is no need to schedule it for 7 a.m. I will post it whenever I finish writing it.
【new book】
As I mentioned in my previous chapter notes, after finishing this book, I did feel a serious lack of cultural knowledge and saw a huge gap between myself and other authors. However, this lack of knowledge accumulation cannot be made up for in a short period of time, and I really enjoy writing, even though I am not good at it.
To eliminate these negative emotions that do nothing to improve my writing, I will definitely continue to write, read more books, learn from others, and strive to write better things.
The new book is still a One Piece fanfiction, but the faction will change from the Marines to pirates or bounty hunters. I already have some ideas for this, but I'm still considering where to focus the story, and thinking about details like the plot, outline, protagonist, and factions. I'll definitely let you know in advance if it's released. If you like this style of writing, please follow me. Please wait a little while; it will be released by the end of the month at the latest, depending on whether the editor approves it. After all, even though I'm a seasoned writer who has written millions of words, I'm still unsure if I'll get a contract...
