"Iron Empire, Infinite Dragon Beasts!"

Chapter Twenty-One: Despair

In the Digital World, there are many types of modified Digimon, and they are found in various races, including Virus, Vaccine, and Ancient species.

Their most distinctive feature is their mechanical organs, unlike those of other Digimon, and even their completely mechanized bodies. Because of these modified organs, they are generally much stronger than Digimon of the same level.

Digimon equipped with the dream metal [Chrono Alloy] have an overwhelming advantage when facing opponents of the same level.

The one who commands the numerous and powerful modified Digimon is the emperor of the Steel Empire, InfiniteDragon.

Mugendramon possesses the strongest body, the most powerful weapons, and the most powerful energy of all cyborg Digimon. There are even rumors that all the cyborg Digimon that have appeared so far were prototypes created to complete Mugendramon.

Because of Mugendramon's power and uniqueness, all modified Digimon are automatically assigned to the "Metal Empire" at birth. Only a very few exceptionally powerful Digimon, such as MetalSeadramon, who is also one of the Dark Masters, are able to break free from Mugendramon's rule.

Of course, some relatively weak modified Digimon were not qualified to join the Steel Empire and were ruled by Mugendramon.

Therefore, upon seeing that all the Accelerators were mechanical, Puppetmon immediately assumed they were subordinates sent by Mugendramon to provoke him.

Upon encountering the enemy, the usually mischievous Puppet Beast didn't rush forward. Instead, he slowly walked towards the Accelerators, carrying his large iron hammer, muttering something like a demonic whisper.

"Well done, Infinitedramon, you really are something else. You don't dare to provoke the Nightmare Legion led by Piedmon, and you don't dare to attack the Deep Sea Saviors commanded by MetalSeadramon, but you dare to take on my Jungle Cavalry?"

A strange crimson light began to flicker in the pitch-black glass eyes, and the puppet beast's mouth slowly split open, revealing a sinister and eerie smile.

"Infinitedramon broke the peace agreement, and neither of you, Piedmon or MetalSeadramon, stood up to punish him or support me. It seems you also think I'm easy to bully."

Without resentment or bitterness, this member of the Four Heavenly Kings, who disliked war and fighting and preferred to hide in his mansion playing games, now felt only boundless rage.

"It seems I've been too low-key. So low-key that you've all forgotten that I earned my position as one of the Four Heavenly Kings bit by bit; so low-key that you've all forgotten that I forced you to sign this torn-up peace agreement by stepping over the corpses of three Ultimate-level beings; so low-key that you've all forgotten the terror of the Jungle Riders."

As he whispered, Puppet Beast had already walked out of the forest and stood in front of hundreds of Accelerators. He showed no fear, but simply raised the iron hammer in his hand high and then brought it down heavily.

"Jungle cavalry, all troops, march on!!"

The earth trembled the moment the hammer hit the ground.

The burning, devastated, and tragically ravaged forest came to life in an instant.

Etemon, Fairymon, DigiEggmon, Minotaurmon, Mammothmon, Atlasbegmon, Triceratopsmon, and hundreds of other members of the Jungle Cavalry who once stormed the core of the Steel Empire under Puppetmon's leadership, opened their eyes once more.

The data scattered after the Digimon that were burned to death, blown up by artillery shells, or crushed by falling trees spontaneously flowed into the bodies of these awakened beings.

The data, brimming with hatred, resentment, envy, and murderous intent, compelled these warriors to turn their gazes toward the hateful invaders without the Puppet Beasts' command.

Upon seeing the appearance of hundreds of fully-equipped Accelerators, the Kings of the Accelerated Worlds panicked. A single fully-equipped Accelerator could restrain four to seven high-level Accelerators, while they had brought fewer than a hundred Accelerators. Even with these level nine Kings present, the disparity in numbers suggested a complete defeat.

We are now in a desperate situation.

"Jungle cavalry, slaughter them all! Destroy their data completely, I want them to never even have the chance to return to Genesis Village and be reborn!!"

Looking at the enemy before him, the Puppet Beast's smile grew even more bloodthirsty.

Puppetmon's body was created from the bodies of countless Tree Spirits that died with resentment. Possessing such a cursed body, the dark thoughts deep within his heart are even more profound than those of Devimon and Piedmon.

His usual naive demeanor was merely a deliberate act to suppress the surging evil thoughts within him.

Puppetmon, whose evil thoughts have not been awakened, is just an ordinary Ultimate-level monster, much weaker than the other three Elite Four. In this state, even a group of children could kill him.

However, once the evil thoughts in his heart are awakened, he, who was born under countless curses, will make his enemies understand what true terror is.

The war broke out in an instant, and in the eleventh second of the war, the first victim appeared, an Accelerator from the Red Legion's solar prominence.

The red imaginary creature, already weak in defense and low in health, couldn't even mount a proper counterattack in this battle where no one could afford to look after anyone else. Its chest armor was shattered by a gorilla beast, and its health was reduced to zero.

When a Digimon dies, it becomes a pile of data, or is absorbed by another Digimon, becoming a stepping stone on its path to evolution, or returns to Genesis Village as a Digi-Egg, reborn, and begins to grow again from its infancy.

When an Accelerator dies, no data appears. Instead, a beam of light corresponding to the color of the virtual body rises at the place of death, and a countdown to resurrection is displayed in the beam. An hour later, the Accelerator who died is destroyed in the beam and resurrected.

The puppet beast, shrouded in cursed black mist, immediately noticed the red pillar of light shooting into the sky. A violent glint flashed in its eyes, and an iron hammer with countless terrifying black patterns that had appeared in its hand suddenly smashed down on the pillar of light.

In the Accelerated World, the pillar of light representing the resurrection coordinates cannot be destroyed. No matter what kind of attack, it cannot damage the pillar of light, nor can it damage the Accelerator who has already died.

However, after the iron hammer in the puppet beast's hand fell, the beam of light actually trembled in front of all the Accelerators' shocked gazes.

Meanwhile, the already dead Accelerator was horrified to discover that his acceleration points had dropped by a full five points due to the Puppet Beast's attack.

With a sinister smile, the Puppet Beast's hammer fell again, but this time, it wasn't an ordinary hammer blow; rather...

"Hehehe, explosive hammer!!"

Instantly, the hammer, whose head resembled a revolver cylinder, began to spin wildly. In its normal form, the hammer could only explode once, but under the enhancement of the curse, it seemed to have become an infinite source of bullets, exploding wildly dozens of times in less than a minute.

That brief minute felt like hell for the deceased speedster. In that minute, he first exhausted all his speed points, then his level dropped from seven to six, and after using up all the speed points needed to level up from six to seven, he dropped to level five.

He desperately tried to escape, to flee this terrifying puppet, but in his dead state, he couldn't move an inch and could only futilely scream in terror.

Although they couldn't communicate with the deceased Accelerator, they could tell from the trembling of the beam of light, which resembled ripples on water, and the dimming of its color, that his condition was far from optimistic.

However, surrounded by hundreds of fully-fledged beings, they were simply unable to support the victim, and during this time, two more Accelerators died.

With malice flashing wildly in its eyes, the puppet beast laughed maniacally and raised its hammer once more.

"Exploding Hammer!!"

Amidst the despairing explosion, a faint cracking sound rang out, and the beam of light, like a piece of glass falling from the sky, turned into a pile of light fragments that drifted into the air.

Seeing this, all the Accelerators' eyes showed fear.

There are only two possibilities when the beam of light shatters: either the deceased Accelerator has been resurrected, or the Accelerator has run out of acceleration points, is forced to uninstall the acceleration program, and leaves the Acceleration World forever.

It takes an hour to revive, and a few minutes is obviously not enough for the accelerator to revive, so there is only one possibility.

In an instant, all the Accelerators understood a cruel truth: Digimon possessed the ability to attack deceased Accelerators, and could even kill them during their death period when they had no way to resist, causing them to be completely removed from the Accelerator world.

For a moment, looking at the hundreds of fully-formed beings around them, despair appeared in the eyes of the Accelerators.

However, even these light-dust puppet beasts were not spared. He suddenly jumped up and swung his iron hammer down again, causing another explosion that sent chills down the spines of the Accelerators.

Despair deepened.

In the void, Yuan Yuan watched this unequal battle and couldn't help but shake his head.

"One is creating worlds to maximize the combat power of Digimon for their own future development. The other is creating worlds simply to awaken their madness, limiting the Accelerators' combat power to a playful level. In a real fight, the difference is naturally huge."

Reaching out, Yuan Yuan pulled the world he had created over, his eyes narrowing, a smile that was definitely not benevolent curling at the corner of his mouth.

"There's no other way but to use these little guys I created to balance out the gap between the two sides."

Selectively, Yuan Yuan ignored the option of directly increasing the Accelerator's strength level through the [Genesis] Staff.

P.S. I originally wanted to end the chapter at 2,000 words, but it would have been too unpleasant to stop there, so I forced myself to write 3,000 words. It's exhausting.

PS2, no one provided us with any extras, so for the extras later on, we could only make things up.

PS3, I have an exam tomorrow, so there will definitely be no updates. Like I said, I'll be able to resume stable updates on the 13th.

Chapter Twenty-Two: The Libertine's Tea Party

"So, I hereby declare the Libertines' Tea Party officially established. All of you, please give us your guidance!"

The girl, dressed in martial arts attire, slammed her hand on the wooden table in front of her and shouted excitedly. Even the most dislike-noisy person would likely feel cheerful and forgive her rudeness upon hearing her cheerful voice, which seemed to be free of any worries.

Strangely, despite her cheerful voice and exaggerated movements, the girl's face was expressionless, like an emotionless puppet, and the people sitting with her were the same.

Sitting next to the girl was a young man with outdated round glasses perched on his nose. Although his face was expressionless, anyone could understand his helplessness from the helpless laugh coming from his mouth.

After pulling the girl's hand and helping her sit down again, the young man glanced at everyone sitting around the table, his voice, though seemingly gentle, unexpectedly gave off a cunning and scheming tone.

"Just like Kanami said, the libertines' tea party has been established. Although I've said it before, I'll repeat it again."

As he spoke, the young man pushed up his glasses, causing them to flash with a cold light, before continuing.

"The Libertines' Tea Party is not a guild, but simply an organization where everyone can get together to play games. There are no restrictions on members, and no one is allowed to force any member to participate in activities they do not want to participate in. If you all have no objections, then I would like to say, 'Welcome to the Libertines' Tea Party!'"

The atmosphere immediately turned cold. Bringing up something that had been agreed upon long ago again at this point was clearly a sign of distrust, and naturally, everyone was not in a good mood.

However, it's clear that the atmosphere can't be relaxed when Kanami is around.

She wrapped her arms around the young man beside her and said in her unique voice, with a high-pitched, cheerful tone, "..."

"Wow, Shiro-kun is so cute! He's not a bad person at all, but he pretends to be one. It's so adorable!"

Kanami's antics instantly dispelled the heavy atmosphere created by Shiroe, and everyone burst into laughter again.

Seeing this, Shirohime could only smile helplessly to herself. The reason this group of top players, each with their own arrogance, were able to gather together was entirely due to Kanami's personal charm; everyone felt comfortable and happy being around her.

Even Shiroe herself was sitting here because of Kanami's unique personal charm.

Although she joined the tea party, Shiroe still felt uncomfortable when she remembered being used as a human search engine in the past. In order to prevent the same thing from happening again, she deliberately stepped forward and played the role of the villain.

[Now it seems that as long as Kanami is around, the situation I was worried about is impossible. It's really nice to not have to be so careful or pretend to be a villain.]

While Shiroe was still churning with various thoughts, Kanami, who couldn't sit still, slammed her hand on the table and stood up again.

"Everyone, let me introduce myself. I'm Kanami, my profession is a martial artist, my current level is 47, my hobby is gaming, my dream is to play games with my own children in the future!"

The introductions were fairly standard, since everyone gathered here was a gamer and their hobbies were all games, which wasn't strange. However, the dream she mentioned later made the group feel a bit strange, so much so that after Kanami finished her self-introduction, no one followed along.

Fortunately, Shiroe had already recovered his senses. Having already heard about Kanami's dream, he wasn't too surprised. He first smiled and said, "I guess that's typical of Kanami? It's such a strange dream, but thinking about it, it's not surprising if it were you," which brought everyone back to their senses. Then he introduced himself.

"I am Shiroe, my profession is Enchanter, currently level 45, and I don't have any particular hobbies. Also, if anything I said earlier made you uncomfortable, please let me know and I will apologize."

"Haha, Acheng, you're too serious. Why don't you come with me to look at women's panties? It'll definitely liven you up!"

While letting out a hearty laugh and vigorously patting Shiroe's shoulder, the plate-armored guardian warrior uttered the word "panties" without the slightest embarrassment.

"Oh, right, let me introduce myself. My name is Naotsugu, my profession is Guardian Warrior, level 48. Nice to meet you."

"My name is Sojiro, and my occupation is..."

"..."

"..."

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the self-introduction segment concluded.

"Alright, everyone, now that the self-introductions are over, let's get started on our first activity!"

Considering that the table in front of them was nearing its breaking point, Shiroe reluctantly pulled Kanami back, who seemed about to slam her hand on the table again, and explained,

"The first event that Kanami mentioned refers to is exploring the new map [Tyrannosaurus Realm] in this update. Raise your hand if you want to join."

"Reclaiming wasteland? The thought of being the first to conquer that land, the first to witness its beauty, fills me with excitement!"
