"I'll participate."

"I've pretty much explored the current map, so let's go check out the new one together."

"Pfft, pfft, pfft, I love all kinds of activities, how could I possibly miss such an important first event?"

As Shiroe looked at each person one by one, those being looked at by Shiroe also expressed their opinions. In the end, the first event of the libertines' tea party was attended by all members.

"Oh! Since we've already decided to participate, let's hurry up and go."

As she spoke, Kanami pulled a key-like object from her backpack.

"Speaking of which, this new map is really strange. There is no specific entry point. As long as you have a key, you can teleport directly in."

"It's probably because the map needs to be completely cleared before the fixed entry point can be opened. There's nothing strange about that."

As she spoke, Shiroe also took out an identical key. After confirming that everyone around her had taken out their keys, she nodded and used the tool in her hand.

"Alright everyone, let's set off."

Then, a blinding light filled the computer screen in front of Cheng Hui, causing tears to involuntarily well up in his eyes.

"Hmm, the teleportation screen was really too glaring this time. I'll send an improvement suggestion to the game company afterwards."

Shiroe put down the mouse, rubbed her eyes vigorously, and muttered to herself in dissatisfaction. But before her eyes could recover, she heard her teammates' panicked shouts coming through her headphones.

"Holy crap, how did I get teleported straight into a monster horde?!"

"Monster levels confirmed: 40, 37, 42, 38, 45. This is bad! There are too many monsters, I can't keep up with the situation!"

"My God, what the hell is this?! The boss is right in front of me as soon as I teleported here, and it's a berserk boss at that!"

"Puppet Beast, level 59, in a cursed berserk state. Damn it, which brainless idiot did this? They didn't even clear the mobs before engaging the boss, and they even made the boss go berserk!"

"Shield Wall! Ah Cheng, what are you standing there for? While my skill is still active, hurry up and reposition yourself to refresh your buffs!"

Upon hearing his name, Shiro Kei realized what was happening and quickly put down his hand that was rubbing his eyes. After quickly assessing the battlefield situation, he began to demonstrate his abilities as the strongest strategist.

P.S. Regarding Puppetmon's strength, he was indeed a weakling in the original work. However, it was precisely because he was so weak that I felt something was off and wondered, "How did such a weakling become one of the Elite Four alongside Piedmon?" After researching his information in detail (though not that detailed), I discovered that he was created using the body of a cursed Jupiter/Zurimon. So, I had a sudden inspiration and enhanced (modified) him a bit.

PS2, um, this time it's "Log Horizon". I personally highly recommend that anyone who hasn't seen it check it out. I really love this anime.

Chapter Twenty-Three: The Developer's Intentions

"First squad, increase firepower and draw the BOSS's aggro. Second and third squads, clear out the mobs as soon as possible."

"First squad, retreat and recover your health as soon as possible. Fourth squad, take over."

Under Shiroe's command, the members of the tea party quickly regained their composure and began to clear out the mobs and hold off the boss in an orderly manner.

Although this was the first time the group had teamed up, their game sense was already very good, and some of them had even teamed up with Shiroe before, so they knew how strong Shiroe's abilities were. As a result, they didn't have a single problem in their first teamwork.

To the members of the tea party, Digimon are monsters, and Accelerators are naturally monsters as well.

However, compared to the Ultimate-level Digimon, which are mostly in their thirties or forties, the majority of Accelerators are only in their twenties, so their threat level is much lower. Even the King, who is at Accelerator level nine, is only in their early thirties, so there is no need to specifically eliminate him.

Therefore, after the Accelerators voluntarily withdrew from the battlefield under the command of several kings, Shiroe kept a slight eye on them to prevent a sneak attack, and then let them go.

Standing on the edge of the battlefield, the Accelerators were deathly silent; not a single person uttered a word. The fact that they were the weakest of the three forces filled them with shame, so shameful that they were speechless.

They had always been at the top of the Accelerator Pyramid, and had never encountered such a powerless situation before.

After a long silence, Yueyan broke it first.

"Leaving aside those guys who crashed in later, can you kings handle that ultimate form?"

Those questioned by Yueyan remained silent. After a moment, Zi Wang raised his head, a crazed light flashing in his eyes.

"Mind Technique! As long as I use the Mind Technique, I'm sure I can kill it!"

Upon hearing this, the other kings were all startled. The Blue King, who was more straightforward, grabbed the Purple King's shoulder and stared at her with the eyes of someone looking at a madwoman.

"Are you crazy? Fighting a public enemy of that level is bound to be a protracted battle. Do you want to use mental techniques for an extended period of time? Have you forgotten the consequences of overusing mental techniques?"

Of course, the Purple Queen could not forget the consequences of overusing Mind Techniques, after all, she was one of the first people to discover the flaws of Mind Techniques.

Mind-body techniques involve digging into one's own emotional scars, using negative emotions such as pain and sadness to stimulate oneself, and maximizing a certain obsession in order to rewrite game data and use abilities that are not allowed by the game program.

Using mental techniques can certainly grant immense power, making it virtually impossible to lose when fighting against other speedsters of the same level.

However, due to its usage mechanism, each use of the Mind Technique will intensify the negative emotions in one's heart, and prolonged use may even lead to mental illnesses such as schizophrenia.

Before becoming queen, Zi Wang had witnessed a fellow Accelerator from her time who, due to excessive use of mental abilities, went insane and completely lost his mind. Because of this, she has always been one of the most opposed to the use of mental abilities and was the first to propose banning their use in front of ordinary Accelerators.

But at this moment, she couldn't care less about all that. When she saw no hope, she could endure the loneliness and silently cherish the memory of her lover. But now that she had seen the opportunity to win him back, how could she possibly give it up?

Crimson Rain's eyes flashed with a blood-red light for a moment, then it nodded heavily.

"If I use mental techniques, I can kill that guy too."

Looking at the Red King and the Purple King in disbelief, the Blue King suddenly felt a sense of unreality. This feeling made him wonder if everyone except himself had gone mad, or... if he himself had gone mad?

Unlike the Blue King, the Purple King now looked at the Crimson Rain with a hint of approval.

Previously, the Purple Queen had always disliked the little girl who had taken the place of her lover, but now, seeing that the girl was willing to risk going insane to fight in order to revive someone important, she suddenly felt that the little red girl seemed much more pleasing to the eye.

Seeing the reactions of the others, Yueyan's eyes became somewhat strange. Although there was no clear evidence, he always felt that the purpose of the game developers releasing this map and the Ultimate Digital Core, a resurrection item, was to make these Accelerators use Mind Techniques extensively and actively explore Mind Techniques.

[Well, I don't know why the developers did this, but it suits me perfectly. Now it will be much easier for me to study Mind Techniques.]

Having made a decision with a clear conscience, Yueyan ignored the kings' quarrel and did not voice his guesses. Instead, he turned his attention to the battlefield at the tea party.

Although Puppetmon initially gained the upper hand and killed many Digimon in one go, it quickly found that while fighting against the first and second squads that were besieging it, it also directed the Digimon to form a simple defensive line.

When the group at the tea party first saw the boss, Puppetmon, loudly commanding the minions around him while fighting, they were all so surprised that they stopped what they were doing. As a result, two members of the first squad were almost killed by Puppetmon's infinitely exploding hammer.

Pushing up his slightly slipping glasses, Shiro quickly suppressed his surprise and sped up his instructions. Once the situation was finally under control, he turned to the priest standing beside him and asked incredulously, "..."

"In the two months I was busy practicing my alternate account and didn't read the news, artificial intelligence has developed to this extent?"

The priest gave a wry smile, healed a swordsman whose health was critically low, and then shook his head.

"How is that possible? This level of artificial intelligence probably won't appear for at least twenty or thirty years."

"Then what is this...?"

Looking at the obediently directing Puppetmon and the other Digimon beside him who were also quite intelligent, Shiro hesitated. He wasn't so far-fetched as to think that the game character he controlled on his computer had gone to another world; he just couldn't understand how the government wouldn't cause trouble for the game company if such advanced artificial intelligence appeared in a game.

"Ah Cheng, I'm surprised too, but we're still in the middle of a battle. Let's finish this first. You're our strategist, so don't slack off at a time like this."

Naotsugu, who had retreated to the rear to recover health, patted Shiroe on the shoulder forcefully, said those words, and then charged back to the front line.

Reminded by Naotsugu, Shiroe realized what was happening, put aside her doubts, and began to focus all her efforts on commanding the battle.

Having fought two groups of opponents—the Accelerators and the Tea Party members—Puppetmon has come to realize that the person who attacked him was not instigated by Mugendramon.

Since Mugendramon and the others haven't become enemies but remain allies, Puppetmon naturally has no reason to continue fighting alone.

He pulled a strangely shaped communicator from his pocket, turned it on, and as soon as the signal connection indicator lit up, the Puppet Beast roared into the speaker.

"My territory is under attack! Come help immediately!!!"

P.S., here's the second update. I should be able to guarantee two updates a day for over a month until the holiday ends, so please vote for me! Please give me tips!! Please give me death threats!!!

Chapter Twenty-Four: Absolutely Not

"I understand. Hold on for ten minutes, the Nightmare Legion will be here soon."

"Understood. The Steel Empire will arrive on the battlefield in thirteen minutes and forty-one seconds."

"The members of Deep Sea Savior are not suited for land combat, so I will not be taking them with me this time. I will arrive myself in twenty minutes."

Piedmon's voice was flippant and malicious, Mugendramon's voice was mechanical and ruthless, and MetalSeadramon's voice was cold and indifferent. None of them sounded like trustworthy people.

But upon hearing their voices, Puppetmon felt relieved, crushed the communicator in his hand, and laughed wildly as he resumed fighting the enemy.

Puppetmon trusted the three not because of unreliable friendship, but because he understood his own importance. Infinity Mountain was the collective effort of the four of them; if any one of them died, a quarter of Infinity Mountain would collapse, and more than half of its functions would be lost.

Although the other three could find other Ultimate-level Digimon to replace Puppetmon after his death and rebuild Infinity Mountain, his position is not something that just any ordinary Ultimate-level Digimon can fill. At least so far, in the entire Digital World, only these four Digimon are capable of supporting Infinity Mountain.

Puppetmon didn't ask the three for help earlier because he thought it was Mugendramon attacking him. If Mugendramon dared to break the peace agreement and attack him, it would mean that Mugendramon had found a Digimon to replace him and had completed a deal with the other two Masters.

In this situation, it's no use for the puppet to ask anyone for help.

But now that Puppetmon understands that it wasn't Mugendramon attacking him, he can confidently call for allies.

The puppet beast made no attempt to hide its search for help, which was clearly seen by the members of the tea party. Instantly, their expressions turned as ugly as if they had swallowed flies.

Having played the game for so long, they've seen bosses that summon allies before; after all, this element is one of the great joys of the game.

But in the past, when BOSSes summoned allies, they would either let out a couple of powerful roars or throw a super dazzling spell into the sky. Who has ever seen a BOSS that looks like a street thug calling for help, shouting and yelling while holding a communicator to summon allies?

When playing sword and magic RPGs, most players will put themselves in the shoes of a hero challenging a demon king/demon, yearning to fight powerful monsters with all their might like a hero, overcome numerous difficulties, slay the enemy, stand in front of the spoils, and enjoy the joy of success.

The members of the tea party were no exception, since the greatest fun of this kind of game was precisely that. However, after seeing the puppet beast's complete lack of grace and domineering presence, the group of people at the tea party suddenly felt like they had gone from being heroes challenging the Demon King to street thugs getting into brawls, and for a moment they lost all desire to continue fighting.

The most headstrong Kanami leaped out of the fighting range and landed beside Shiroe, complaining with dissatisfaction.

"Ah, even if this kind of BOSS drops the best equipment, I have no interest in fighting it. Shiro-kun, let's go look somewhere else."

Hearing Kanami's complaint, the pastor beside her also spoke up in a resentful tone.

"That's what I mean. Even if you successfully kill this kind of BOSS, you don't feel any sense of accomplishment at all."

Although the members of the tea party have different personalities, they all have the pride of being top players. How could they possibly be willing to fight like thugs?

Therefore, upon hearing Kanami and the pastor's words, the group immediately erupted in a clamor.

"Yeah, let's go check out other places. I refuse to believe that all the bosses on such a big map are this bad!"

"Although giving up halfway is not good, I am unwilling to fight with such a vulgar person."

"Fighting this monster, I feel like I don't even have the strength to throw a punch!"

"In my humble opinion, it is a disgrace for a samurai to fight against such an opponent."

A group of people shouted without any restraint, completely disregarding the fact that the puppet beast was right next to them and could hear their conversation clearly.

After all, their long-standing gaming habits have made them accustomed to discussing things in front of the BOSS, since the BOSS can't understand anyway.

The ordinary members overlooked the intelligence that Puppetmon had consistently displayed, intelligence that was in no way inferior to that of humans, but Shiroe, as the strongest strategist, would not forget. He looked at Puppetmon, its head bowed, the black mist around it growing ever thicker, and gave a wry smile.

“We originally had a chance to escape the battle, but now that you've said that, it's really impossible.”

The tea party members were immediately taken aback, not understanding what Shiroe meant by that. However, the puppet beast's immediate reaction made them understand why Shiroe had said that.
