"According to the prophecy, the one whose name cannot be spoken will soon return!"

Upon hearing this, Professor McGonagall seemed to suddenly understand something, and her mouth dropped open in surprise.

"You mean... Oh my god!"

Professor McGonagall looked at Dumbledore in disbelief, as if she didn't recognize the colleague and friend she had known for decades.

But Dumbledore's expression remained unchanged as he looked at Professor McGonagall with what appeared to be a startled look. Instead, he spoke earnestly:

"Wentworth and Harry Potter will become good friends, I firmly believe that."

“We’re all getting old, Professor McGonagall. We need younger talent! Rather than rejecting them, I’d much rather they grow under our guidance!”

Wentworth was unaware of what was happening in the headmaster's office at that moment. Led by the prefects, the Hufflepuff freshmen entered their common room for the first time.

Compared to the other three houses, Hufflepuff House's advantages became apparent at this point.

After leaving the auditorium where the opening banquet was held, I went downstairs, turned the corner, and arrived!

At the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room is a still painting near the kitchen. Inside, the common room is filled with yellow curtains and furnished with plush armchairs.

A male prefect stepped forward and said:

"This is our Hufflepuff common room, and the dormitories for all the new students. The names have already been written down, so you can find them yourselves."

"You're in luck. Tomorrow is the weekend, so you don't have classes. You can familiarize yourself with the campus, but remember, there are a few places you absolutely must not go! For example, the forbidden forest!"

"If any of you didn't eat enough just now, turn left after you go out, and you'll find Hogwarts' kitchen. The house-elves there will be very happy to serve you!"

"Alright, boys, come this way, girls, over there. Sweet dreams to you all!"

Wentworth waved goodbye to Cedric as the prefect walked by, and they agreed to have breakfast together the next day.

Upon arriving at his dormitory and meeting his roommates, Wentworth greeted them warmly and shared the snacks he had bought on the Hogwarts Express with everyone.

It must be said that Hufflepuff's students are indeed quite friendly. After receiving a large amount of snacks from Wentworth, the other three have already unanimously elected Wentworth as their leader.

While his roommates were enjoying snacks, Wentworth left his dormitory, crossed the common room, and went to the Hogwarts basement.

Without even looking, not far from the Hufflepuff common room, Wentworth smiled as he looked at the painting of a fruit platter hanging on the wall.

Chapter Nineteen: Preparing Ingredients

Wentworth gently scratched the pear in the fruit bowl in the painting, and the pear immediately turned into a green doorknob. With a gentle turn of the doorknob, the door to the Hogwarts kitchen opened.

As soon as Wentworth entered the Hogwarts kitchen, he was spotted by the house-elves, and many of them surrounded him.

"Sir, is there anything we can do for you? Would you like some dessert first? How about a chocolate lava cream puff?"

Wentworth took the chocolate lava puff from the elf, took a small bite, and the aroma of chocolate instantly exploded on his taste buds.

"It tastes delicious, thank you!"

Wentworth said sincerely, and felt that his decision to insist on attending Hogwarts was absolutely right, and was very satisfied with being sorted into Hufflepuff.

It's worth noting that Ravenclaw was originally one of the candidates in Wentworth's plans, but clearly, Wentworth preferred the image of a hard worker to that of a high achiever.

Upon hearing Wentworth's praise, the surrounding elves immediately danced with joy, appearing extremely excited.

Then, Wentworth pulled out a slip of paper from his pocket, on which he had just written down some ingredients.

"Gentlemen, could you help me prepare these ingredients? I need them for tomorrow."

A house-elf took the note from Wentworth's hand, and the other house-elves immediately swarmed around it, eager to see the note, while Wentworth leisurely ate a chocolate cream puff.

“Mr. Wentworth, the items on your list are not difficult to find, but many of them require us to purchase them from the Muggle world, because very few people at Hogwarts would eat these things.”

At this point, the house-elf seemed hesitant to speak, so another house-elf chimed in:

"So, Mr. Wentworth, these materials may not be ready until noon tomorrow."

Then, all the house-elves showed expressions of shame.

Wentworth was unimpressed by the house-elves' response; in fact, he felt that the house-elves had already been quite tactful in their answer.

The ingredients listed on Wentworth's note were not only rarely eaten at Hogwarts, but probably rarely tasted in the whole of England. Wentworth was already quite surprised that he could prepare these ingredients for tomorrow noon.

"It's alright. If some ingredients are really hard to find, it's okay to be missing one or two. Just make sure they're ready before lunch tomorrow."

Upon receiving Wentworth's reply, the house-elves visibly breathed a sigh of relief, and the somewhat ashamed house-elf from before regained his enthusiasm.

"No problem, Mr. Wentworth, we will definitely have all the ingredients ready before lunch tomorrow!"

"Would you like to use these ingredients to make a few dishes? If so, you can leave the recipes with us, and we will prepare them for you and deliver them to you precisely at your lunch tomorrow."

But this time, Wentworth cruelly rejected the house-elf's offer, saying:

"No need, this dish is more fun to make yourself. See you tomorrow at noon!"

Although the house-elves were a little disappointed that Wentworth refused their offer to help with the cooking, they still happily said goodbye to Wentworth.

The next morning, Wentworth had just finished getting ready and stepped out of his dorm room when he ran into Cedric, who was already waiting for him in Hufflepuff's common room.

"Hi, good morning Wentworth, wanna go for breakfast? I'll show you around Hogwarts afterwards."

Wentworth readily accepted Cedric's invitation, and the two walked together toward the Great Hall where Hogwarts ate.

“You know what? Last night when I wrote to my father to let him know you were safe and sound, and told him you were assigned to Hufflepuff, I received a reply from my father this morning delivered by an owl. He was very happy about it and told me to take good care of you.”

On the way to the auditorium, Cedric spoke to Wentworth with a beaming smile.

"Really? Mr. Diggory is such a kind man."

It was only then that Wentworth realized he hadn't bought an owl, and Rozier hadn't reminded him. It seemed he needed to get himself a pet at the right time, Wentworth thought to himself.

After breakfast, Wentworth, led by Cedric, began to wander around Hogwarts Castle.

Cedric led Wentworth to see the classrooms they would be using this semester, so that Wentworth wouldn't be scrambling to find them later.

But as he passed a small, windowless room with only a single oil lamp hanging forlornly from the low ceiling, Cedric suddenly lowered his voice and said:

"Remember, stay away from this room, don't go near it!"

Cedric's mysterious demeanor instantly piqued Wentworth's curiosity.

You see, a big reason why I insisted on coming to Hogwarts was that I wanted to experience the mystery of Hogwarts.

Seeing Cedric's reaction, Wentworth suppressed his excitement, feeling both nervous and curious, and asked softly:

"Cedric, what's in here? Is it something Hogwarts uses to store Dark Magic items?"

Cedric shook his head.

"Could it be that some kind of magical creature is being imprisoned here?"

Cedric shook his head again.

This completely piqued Wentworth's curiosity.

"Or perhaps something tragic happened here?"

This time, Cedric nodded with utmost seriousness.

How tragic was it?

"Absolutely horrific!"

Wentworth never imagined that, besides the Myrtle incident that happened in the girls' lavatory on the third floor, there was another room at Hogwarts where a tragic event had occurred!

Looking back at the room, Wentworth felt a chill creep down his spine and couldn't help but ask:

"What exactly is that room used for?"

Cedric replied solemnly:

“That’s the room of Filch, the Hogwarts doorman!”

Wentworth: "..."

Seeing that Wentworth seemed somewhat uninterested, Cedric couldn't help but ask:

"Aren't you curious about what Filch does?"

"I think I can guess."

Wentworth replied.

Soon, the morning was about to pass, and just as Cedric was about to have lunch with Wentworth in the auditorium, Wentworth suddenly grabbed Cedric's arm.

"Cedric, thank you for the steak last night. For lunch today, I've prepared a special meal that I made myself!"

After saying that, Wentworth pulled Cedric toward the Hufflepuff common room.

Chapter Twenty: Hot Pot

Cedric allowed Wentworth to pull him to the Hufflepuff common room, which was empty at the time.

After all, as a Hufflepuff, one would never miss mealtime, so by this time, most of the little badgers had already gone to the Great Hall of Hogwarts for their meal.

"What's going on? Why are you being so secretive?"

Upon arriving at the common lounge, Cedric couldn't help but ask curiously.

Wentworth, however, did not answer Cedric directly, but instead said:

"Wait here for me, I'll be right back!"

Without waiting for Cedric's reply, Wentworth ran out of Hufflepuff's common room.

So Cedric could only wait there alone, helpless.

Just as Cedric was wondering if Wentworth had gotten lost in Hogwarts and was about to go out to look for him, Wentworth finally returned. Not only that, but Wentworth was also followed by several house-elves carrying many things in their hands.

"Okay, put this big basin here, and put the charcoal in the basin. Thank you very much. These things can be placed to the side."

Cedric stared in disbelief as Wentworth directed the house-elves to place various items around him. Only then did Cedric realize that the house-elves had been holding food.

"Wentworth, what are you doing?"

Cedric couldn't help but ask out of curiosity.
