Upon hearing Abernathy's words, the crowd immediately began to murmur amongst themselves.

A moment later, Austin Greengrass, who was standing next to Abernathy, seemed to have suddenly thought of something and tentatively asked:

"The wizard who ran away from the beginning?"

Upon hearing Austin Greengrass's answer, Abernathy slowly nodded, and the other sorcerers of the Sorcery Party also suddenly realized what he meant.

Before anyone else could react, Abernathy slammed his fist on the table and said sharply:

"You must find this guy for me. Not only in Britain, but also send letters to our partners in America to check if there is any information about him. I have a feeling we will soon find out their identities!"

Seeing everyone busy again, Abernathy stopped Austin Greengrass and asked:

"How's the new pub owner coming along? Get him out of London as soon as possible!"

Austin Greengrass quickly said:

“It’s already being arranged. Through my family’s connections, I’ve taken over a wizard’s bar in Paris, France, and I’m going to arrange for him to go there. In the future, he will be responsible for gathering intelligence for me in France.”

Upon hearing Austin Greengrass's reply, Abernathy nodded and then spoke again, offering his instructions:

"We have to be quick. So many wizards have seen him join the Basilisk Party. I don't want to have to go to Azkaban to bail him out!"

Seeing Austin Greengrass nod in agreement, Abernathy turned his gaze to the other side, where a stack of papers lay, the top one being Rozier's letter!

In the letter, Rozier agreed to Rita Skeeter's proposal, and in Rozier's reply...

Abernathy carefully flipped through the newspapers, and after a long while, he pulled one out and placed it on top. The newspaper prominently featured the words "Singing a Quixote".

The next morning, as Wentworth and Cedric continued their journey through the secret passage under the Beating Willow toward the Screaming Shack, Abernathy also arrived at the village of Autry-St. Catchbol with Austin Greengrass.

"There it is!"

Abernathy pointed to a huge, black, cylindrical house on a hill not far away and said.

So the two of them walked up the hill together, but when they were halfway up, their path was blocked.

Before the two of them stood a girl with silver eyes, dark golden-brown hair, and a pair of carrot-shaped earrings, who seemed to be searching for something on the hillside.

Upon seeing Abernathy and Austin Greengrass arrive, the girl spoke softly, asking the two men:

"Did you see my harassing horsefly?"

Abernathy and Austin Greengrass looked at each other, both puzzled.

Abernathy considered himself quite knowledgeable, but for a moment, he couldn't quite grasp what the little girl in front of him was saying.

Seeing that the two people in front of her didn't react at all, and the girl didn't seem to care, she skipped away, about to leave, when Abernathy quickly called her back and said gently:

"Excuse me, do you know where Mr. Xenophilius Lovegood is?"

Upon hearing Abernathy's question, the girl stopped and looked him over before asking:

Are you here to collect your royalties?

Abernathy: ? ? ?

Seeing this, Austin Greengrass quickly spoke up:

"No, you misunderstood. In fact, we're here to submit our work."

Upon hearing Austin Greengrass's answer, the girl pointed to the house behind her and said:

“My father works there. If your article is about goblins or horned snorts, I think my father would be very interested.”

As she spoke, the girl led the two bewildered individuals toward the house on the mountain.

As the three reached the house on the hill, Abernathy and Austin Greengrass quickly wiped the bewildered look off their faces. Just then, the door was opened from the inside.

"Luna, why do I hear more than one person's footsteps? Has Fudge sent his fire spirit army?"

Abernathy frowned as he sized up the editor-in-chief of Quixote. Abernathy disliked people who were sloppily dressed or somewhat disheveled.

The man in front of her had a head of messy white hair. As she continued to look down, Abernathy's gaze suddenly sharpened, and her eyes involuntarily fell on the man's chest.

The man in front of them, who looked somewhat crazy, had a pendant hanging from his chest. The pattern on it was all too familiar to Abernathy: a triangle with a circle trapped in the middle and a vertical line running through it.

Just then, Abernathy felt a gaze from Austin Greengrass beside him, as if asking what was going on.

Just then, after listening to the girl's story, the man in front of him quickly extended his hand to Abernathy and said in an exaggerated manner:

“Oh, I never expected someone to come to our door to submit a manuscript. It seems you must be a loyal reader of our ‘Sing the Quibbles’ magazine! Hello, my name is Xenophilius Lovegood! This is my daughter, Luna Lovegood.”

As Xenophilius Lovegood shook hands with Abernathy, he pointed to the girl beside him and began to introduce her.

However, after the two shook hands, Xenophilius was surprised to find that Abernathy did not let go of his hand, but still held it tightly.

Just as he showed a hint of doubt, Abernathy spoke up:

"Mr. Xenophilius Lovegood, could you tell me what this pendant represents?"

Upon hearing Abernathy's question, Xenophilius Lovegood replied with some confusion:

"You mean this? Oh, this is the symbol of the Deathly Hallows! Legend has it that in ancient times, Death possessed three treasures, which were..."

Upon hearing this, Abnersi frowned even more deeply. He certainly had no interest in hearing any stories about death; Abnersi was simply trying to ascertain one thing: whether the owner of the pendant was a member of the Malay Party or a descendant of the Malay Party.

The reason for the doubt is that Britain is a special case, and back then, the Malay Party swept across Europe and America with a large number of members. Many wizards even spontaneously wore this symbol and claimed to have joined the Malay Party. Abernathy was not sure if he knew every wizard.

However, just hearing this, Abernathy was already certain that the editor-in-chief of The Quibbles was not a member of the UMNO party, and had no connection with the party whatsoever.

Thinking this through, Abernathy had lost all interest in talking to him, let alone hearing any stories. Although the man in front of him might be innocent, it was his own fault for wearing the UMNO insignia without permission! He could only blame his bad luck!

Chapter Ninety-Nine: The Origin of the Pendant

Abernathy, looking bored, waved to Austin Greengrass beside him. Austin instantly understood what Abernathy meant. Just as Austin reached for his wand, the girl who had been standing to the side suddenly spoke up:

“This pendant is my mother’s keepsake. After my mother passed away, my father wore it with him.”

Upon hearing the girl's words, the three people present were simultaneously taken aback, and Xenophilius Lovegood also stopped his incessant rambling, remaining silent for a moment before speaking:

"That's right, even this story was told to me by my late wife."

Hearing this, Abernathy couldn't help but ask curiously:

"May I ask what your wife's name is?"

Although he found it strange that Abernathy would ask such a question, and even though Xenophilius Lovegood's gaze towards Abernathy now carried a hint of suspicion, he still answered:

“Pandora, Pandora Lovegood.”

Abernathy ignored Xenophilius Lovegood's deliberate use of his husband's surname when reciting his wife's name. At that moment, Abernathy was recalling the name Pandora, seemingly lost in thought.

Do you know my mother?

At this moment, Luna suddenly spoke up and asked a question.

Upon hearing Luna's question, Abernathy slowly nodded, stroking Luna's blonde hair as he said:

"Of course, when I met your mother, she wasn't much older than you, but she was already a very good witch. I remember she always liked to pester me with questions about all sorts of spells. She was a very clever witch."

Upon hearing Abernathy's answer, Xenophilius Lovegood, who was standing to the side, showed a hint of surprise and delight, and quickly welcomed Abernathy and Austin into the room. This time, Abernathy did not hold onto his hand and refuse to let go.

After the four entered the house, Xenophilius first asked Abernathy and his companion to sit down, then went into the inner room. A moment later, he brought out a pot of tea. Xenophilius was about to introduce it when Abernathy suddenly spoke up:

"Gordigen tea, the kind of tea Pandora loved back in the day."

Hearing this, Xenophius no longer doubted the two people in front of him and said with a smile:

“That’s right, it’s Gordigen tea, which is now Luna’s favorite tea.”

Immediately, Xenophilius poured a cup for everyone. Abernathy picked up his teacup, took a small sip, remained silent for a moment, and then suddenly asked Luna beside him:

"Did your mother tell you about this pendant? And the story behind it?"

Upon hearing Abernathy's question, Luna was taken aback at first, then shook her head and replied:

"No, in fact, my mother died in a major accident caused by a curse. Before that, although I often saw her alone, holding the pendant and staring blankly, she never told me the story of the pendant."

Hearing this, Abernaisi couldn't help but sigh inwardly. Cases like Luna's mother's were common within the UMNO party.

Perhaps out of despair, or perhaps because they never received another call from the UMNO, many people chose to go into hiding. Many others had already started families, and for the safety of their descendants, they hid their past and their former glory.

But now, the Grindelwald name will surely shine again in the wizarding world; it's time to rekindle their former pride!

Thinking of this, Abernathy straightened his back, looked at the Lovegood father and daughter in front of him, and slowly said in a proud tone:

"It's alright, now I'll tell you what this pendant represents. It represents an era, an era called Grindelwald, an era called the Masonic Party!"

Upon hearing Abernathy's words, Xenophilius Lovegood instinctively held his breath, then exchanged a glance with Luna, only to see her expression blank as she calmly asked:

"Father, what is the UMNO?"

Before Xenophilius Lovegood could answer, Abernathy asked incredulously:

"Haven't you ever heard of this name before?"

Faced with Abernathy's doubts, Xenophilius Lovegood quickly explained:

"In fact, I consciously didn't tell Luna about the wizarding world. I felt that children should have things that interest them. After all, every wizard grows up, but there is no potion that can make a wizard return to childhood."

After hearing Xenophilius Lovegood's explanation, Abernathy nodded in agreement.

Abernais then explained the origins of the Malay Party to Luna, and concluded by saying:

"Luna, your mother was once one of us, and not only your mother, but your grandfather was too! Although you haven't joined the UMNO party yet, and perhaps you won't in the future, you were born a child of the UMNO party!"

At this point, Abernathy suddenly pulled out a new pendant from his pocket. The pendant was almost identical in shape to the one worn by Xenophilius Lovegood, but it appeared to be more exquisite.

Then, Abernathy handed the pendant to Luna and said:

"I'm giving you this pendant. If you ever encounter any trouble you can't solve in the future, you can use this pendant to come to me, or find a wizard who also has this kind of pendant. I think they will lend a helping hand."

Luna curiously examined the pendant in her hand, a hint of fondness in her eyes, and casually asked:

"What kind of people are the sorcerers of the Malay Party?"

Abernathy paused for a moment, then smiled kindly:

"Most of the old Mafia members were old men like me. As for what the future Mafia will look like, when you arrive at Hogwarts and meet that wizard who also wears this symbol, his appearance will be the future of the Mafia."

Luna seemed to understand something, her gaze still fixed on the pendant in her hand, but she slowly nodded.
