Hearing Lu Yi's gentle words, Li nodded involuntarily and agreed.
"See? Why didn't you just talk it out? Why resort to violence? Alright, you guys should leave now. If I'm not mistaken, the whole school might riot in a bit. Then it'll be difficult for you to leave. Yong, Komuro, protect Xiaoli. It's your responsibility as men." Lu Yi said with a smile, releasing Komuro's hand.
"Aren't you going to escape with us?" Komuro nodded firmly, but then asked with a hint of doubt.
"No, I need to go see someone in a bit," Lu Yi said, shaking his head.
"Take care." Komuro gave Lu Yi a deep look and said in a deep voice. After saying that, he led Rei and Yong out of the classroom.
"Zombies? How interesting." Lu Yi thought to himself after watching them disappear, and then walked out of the classroom in the opposite direction from the small room.

Chapter Four: Long Time No See
Not long after Lu Yi stepped out of the classroom, an alarm sounded over the school's loudspeaker, and sirens blared throughout the school, warning everyone to be on guard. The intention was good, but the reality was cruel. The students in this school were all pampered rich kids who had never seen anything like this before. In an instant, fear spread in everyone's hearts. As time went by, the students could no longer bear the shadow of death, and all of them rushed out of the school. When fear reaches an unbearable level, people will inevitably face a cruel choice—life or death.
Humans are selfish creatures; no one wants to die. So, they can only let others face death in their place. Therefore, during the escape of all the students, the ugliness deep in the human heart was inevitably revealed. In order to be the first to escape and to live, they finally showed their ferocious faces, pulling hair, tugging, crowding, and trampling. They did everything they could. For a time, the whole school was in chaos. Their goal was simple: to live.
However, what they didn't know was that the more they acted this way, the faster death came. In just a few minutes, the school became a veritable hell, with blood, severed limbs, bits of flesh, and corpses everywhere—a scene of utter devastation and horror. Even more terrifying was that those who were already dead staggered to their feet and pounced on those still fleeing, still living in panic.
. . . .
Lu Yi was walking down the corridor. It was eerily quiet, completely deserted. The "clatter" of his footsteps echoed throughout the corridor. Just as Lu Yi reached a staircase, a "person" lunged at him. However, Lu Yi easily dodged it. The "person" missed its target and fell face-first to the ground. But it quickly and unsteadily got back to its feet and lunged at Lu Yi again.
Behind that "person," several other "people" appeared and pounced on Lu Yi.
What are zombies?
Now Lu Yi truly witnessed it. Looking at the "people" slowly approaching him—all students, uniformly dressed in school uniforms—their movements were stiff, their bodies resembling corpses. Watching the zombies slowly but resolutely walk towards him, Lu Yi vanished in a flash, reappearing behind them. Without even glancing at them, he continued walking forward. Not long after, several soft sounds came from behind Lu Yi. Anyone present would have been horrified to discover that the zombies that had just pounced on Lu Yi had all been instantly blown off their heads. Blood and brain matter sprayed from their heads like rain. Then, the zombies fell to the ground, becoming true corpses.
Lu Yi didn't turn around, but continued walking forward. Soon, he found the infirmary. The door to the infirmary had been damaged, and several zombies were slowly walking inside. However, soon, a soft sound came from inside the infirmary, and then two people quickly came out. Upon closer inspection, one of the people who came out was the person Lu Yi was looking for—Saeko Busujima. Beside Saeko Busujima was a woman with long blonde hair whose voluptuous figure was simply unimaginable. Her breasts and buttocks swayed violently as she walked, dazzling the eyes.
"Hai, it's been a long time, Saeko." Lu Yi stepped forward and greeted Saeko Busujima.
"Huh, Lu Yi? What are you doing here?" Saeko Busujima asked, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes as she saw Lu Yi.
"Ah, that's a long story. Let's not talk about it now. I'll tell you all about it after we escape from here." Lu Yi then looked at the woman next to Saeko Busujima and asked, feigning confusion, "And who is this?"
“She’s the school doctor, her name is Shizuka Marikawa,” Saeko Busujima said.
"Ah, Shizuka-sensei, hello." Lu Yi extended his hand and smiled at Shizuka Marikawa.
"Ah...ah, hello there, you're so handsome!" Shizuka Marikawa exclaimed, gazing at Lu Yi's devilishly handsome face.
"Uh... she really is a natural airhead." Lu Yi thought with a wry smile as he looked at Shizuka Marikawa's confused expression.
"Alright, this isn't the time to chat, let's go." Saeko Busujima said, and then left first, with Lu Yi and Shizuka Marikawa following behind.
Along the way, the three encountered many zombies, but with Lu Yi and Saeko Busujima as experts, they made their way through without any obstacles. Soon, the three arrived at the entrance of the teaching building. Just then, a terrified scream came from inside the teaching building. The three exchanged a glance and quickly rushed towards the source of the sound.
When Lu Yi and his two companions arrived at the location, Komuro and Rei also rushed over and witnessed a shocking scene: Takagi Saya was wielding a chainsaw at a zombie in front of her, repeatedly shouting, "Don't come any closer, don't come any closer..."
Blood flew everywhere as a head was tossed high into the air, its blood cascading down in the confined space, creating a brief shower of blood.
After Saya Takagi killed the zombie, she collapsed to the ground, utterly exhausted, tears streaming down her face, looking as pitiful as a girl abandoned by her boyfriend.
Lu Yi and his group couldn't care less about Takagi Saya right now, because the loud noise had attracted several more zombies. Seeing the zombies slowly but steadily walking towards them, the group exchanged glances and then charged into the horde of zombies at the same time.

Chapter Four: Escaping School
The four quickly dealt with the zombies swarming from all sides. The fight between Komuro and Rei was nothing special, just two ordinary people with weapons fighting. But the fight between Lu Yi and Saeko Busujima was worth mentioning.
Saeko Busujima's method of killing zombies was decent. She simply moved quickly in front of the zombies, raised her wooden sword, and swung it down rapidly. A little blood mist floated from the heads of each zombie, and then the zombies stopped moving and fell to the ground, never to rise again, becoming real corpses. Saeko Busujima's movements were fluid and seamless, without the slightest pause, and she instantly dealt with the several zombies in front of her.
Lu Yi's methods of killing zombies were far too gruesome in the eyes of these ordinary people. No zombie that Lu Yi caught was intact. Some had their heads crushed by Lu Yi, while others were torn apart by Lu Yi's violence. In an instant, blood, limbs, and bits of flesh flew everywhere. This scene stunned Komuro, Rei, and Saeko Busujima, who had stopped after the battle, as well as the few spectators who had been standing there. They were all terrified by Lu Yi's cruel and bloody killing methods. Looking at Lu Yi's smiling face after killing people, their hearts felt as cold as if they had been hit by a cold wind in September.
However, although a hint of horror flashed in Saeko Busujima's eyes, there was more fanaticism. Saeko Busujima had lived with Lu Yi for four years and had never discovered that such a cruel and bloody side was hidden beneath Lu Yi's gentle and kind smile.
"What's wrong? Is there something on my face?" After dealing with the zombies, Lu Yi turned around and saw everyone staring at him in fear. Lu Yi knew they were frightened by his methods of killing, so he sighed inwardly and asked, feigning confusion. He even reached out and touched his face as he spoke.
"N-nothing...it's nothing." Komuro, having regained consciousness, suppressed the fear in her heart and said in a trembling voice.
Lu Yi said nothing more and walked towards them. Seeing Lu Yi's action, everyone except Saeko Busujima took a step back, as if they were avoiding a ferocious beast. A hint of disappointment flashed in Lu Yi's eyes when he saw them, but he did not stop and continued walking forward until he reached Saeko Busujima. He reached out and touched her soft hair. Seeing that Saeko Busujima did not dodge, Lu Yi's eyes flashed with surprise and he said with a smile, "Saeko, it seems that you haven't slacked off during this time. Your swordsmanship has improved quite a bit."
Saeko Busujima blushed instantly upon seeing Lu Yi's ambiguous actions, but a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes when she heard Lu Yi's praise. She murmured "Mm," and said nothing more.
Lu Yi laughed at Saeko Busujima's shy expression, then said seriously to the people in front of him, "Alright, you don't need to be afraid. I'm not that cruel. Those were just some lifeless 'people.' If I didn't kill them, I would have been the one to die. If you keep looking at me like that, I will leave with Saeko."
The group of people were taken aback by Lu Yi's words, their eyes filled with shame. They all lowered their heads, and a silent oppressive atmosphere filled the air between them.
"Alright, there's no need for you to feel so guilty. In this situation, we must unite to escape, otherwise we'll all die here." Lu Yi smiled and comforted them when he saw their guilty looks, but his tone became serious again at the end.
Hearing Lu Yi's words, everyone nodded firmly. They knew that the current situation was not the time for internal strife.
. . . .
On a deserted highway.
At this time, Lu Yi and the others had already escaped the school in the school bus and had even managed to rescue all the surviving students. As for the teachers, only Zi Teng from Class 3A survived.
"Saeko, there's no need to hide anymore for the battle to come. Take out the sword I gave you and fight!" Lu Yi said, sitting down next to Saeko Busujima as she wiped the wooden sword in her hand.
Saeko Busujima hesitated for a moment, but finally nodded in agreement.
"We're finally saved! Is Captain Busujima?" At that moment, Ms. Fujito approached Saeko Busujima and asked.
“No one is the captain; we’re just helping each other to survive,” Saeko Busujima said, glancing at Fujiwara.
“That won’t do. We definitely need a captain to survive,” Wisteria said.
However, no one paid any more attention to him, and Zi Teng could only walk to the back of the car with a gloomy expression and sit down.
Night fell quickly.
The car was still moving slowly in Shizuka Marikawa's hands, and the sound it made made the already oppressive atmosphere even more oppressive, making it hard to breathe.
"I can't take it anymore. Why do we have to stay with them? Driving like this will only lead to danger. Besides, why should we follow Lu Yi and the others?" Finally, someone couldn't stand the pressure anymore and broke down.
Hearing that the extra dared to speak to him like that, Lu Yi stood up and walked over to him, speaking gently, "Tell me, what have I done to offend you?" Lu Yi's voice was soft and gentle, as if he were talking to himself, but those who witnessed Lu Yi's cruel side felt a chill run down their spines, shivering in unison. Their gazes towards the extra were clearly those of someone looking at a dead man, and they muttered under their breath, "Idiot."
"I'm not happy. Ever since you came to this school, I've disliked you." The extra said jealously, looking at Lu Yi's handsome, almost otherworldly face.
"Heh...you really are trash." Lu Yi said with a sneer, looking at the extra with jealous eyes.
"You... what did you say? You're despicable!" Hearing Lu Yi's sarcastic words, the extra clenched his fist and angrily swung it at Lu Yi.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chapter Five: Those who walk different paths cannot make plans together.
Without any suspense, the extra was kicked in the stomach by Lu Yi. He was in so much pain that he clutched his stomach and rolled around on the ground, seemingly unable to get up for the time being.
"Pah. Trash." Lu Yi spat at the incompetent extra and said with a look of disdain.
"Clap clap clap... That's really good, Lu Yi. But the fact that we're arguing proves my point is right." At this moment, Zifang, who was sitting in the back of the car, stood up and walked up to Lu Yi, saying, "We really do need a captain, don't we?"
"Oh??? Then who do you think is qualified to be the captain?" Lu Yi looked at Zi Teng and asked with interest, his eyes narrowing.
"I'm your teacher, Lu Yi, and you're all students," Zi Teng said, looking at everyone in the car. "That alone clearly shows whether someone is qualified or not. I'll take measures to prevent problems from happening. What do you all think?"
Hearing Zi Teng's impassioned speech, all the students except Lu Yi and a few others stood up and applauded with admiration. Seeing the effect of her speech, Zi Teng looked at Lu Yi and the others with great pride and said, "Therefore, by majority vote, I have been elected captain."
Just then, the car door opened, and Lu Yi and the others turned around to see Li jump out of the car with a weapon in her hand. Seeing Li go out alone, Komuro anxiously called out, "Li!"
"No, even if you kill me, I won't stay with that guy." Komuro's anxious tone made Rei stop in her tracks, and she turned around and yelled at Komuro.
"Oh... there's nothing we can do if we can't act together," Wisteria said, feigning helplessness.
"You... what did you say?" Komuro said, looking at Fuji with an angry expression.
Before Zi Teng could answer, Lu Yi punched him in the stomach, sending him sprawling to the ground and rolling around with the extra. After doing all this, Lu Yi clapped his hands as if he'd done something insignificant, turned to them, shrugged innocently, and said something that made everyone burst out laughing: "Don't look at me like that, it'll make me feel really embarrassed." However, there wasn't a trace of embarrassment on his face, leaving everyone speechless.
"Rei, watch out!" Komuro shouted to Rei as if he had seen something. Everyone looked out of the car and saw a bus swaying and speeding towards Rei. Rei was frozen in fear, and everyone knew she was terrified. Just as they were getting anxious, they suddenly felt a gust of wind on their faces and saw Lu Yi had arrived in front of Rei. He grabbed her clothes and threw her into the bus. Although Rei was saved, Lu Yi took her seat.
Seeing Rei rescued, the crowd showed no joy, but instead grew even more anxious. Saeko Busujima, her face deathly pale, cried out, "Lu Yi..." and tried to rush out to save him, but she stopped after only a few steps. What she saw forced her to halt. She saw Lu Yi single-handedly stop the bus, which, though seemingly wobbling, was moving at an impressive speed. Seeing this awe-inspiring scene, everyone still inside the bus gaped in shock, and a single word came to mind to describe Lu Yi at that moment—"monster."
But now is not the time to be shocked, because the zombies inside the car have already broken through the doors or windows and escaped. Seeing this, Saeko Busujima turned around and said to Komuro and the others, "Let's get out of the car. There's no need to mess around with them like this anymore. Even if there's no way out, we can fight our way out." After saying that, she ignored them and jumped out of the car first, coming to Lu Yi's side.
Komuro and the others jumped out of the car, giving the passengers a disdainful look before they did so. This angered Fujiwara, whose face darkened instantly, but he dared not do anything to them. Seeing Lu Yi's strength, he didn't have the guts to provoke them further and could only watch helplessly as they got out of the car.
"Why are you all here? These guys can't block my way," Lu Yi said, looking at them.
"Heh. We don't want to be with those incompetent guys who only know how to shout," Saeko Busujima said with a laugh. Everyone nodded in agreement.
"Alright, we can't work together if we're on different paths. In that case, let's fight our way out!" Lu Yi said loudly, looking at their determined eyes.
"Alright!" everyone said in unison, and then they rushed towards the horde of zombies.
. . . .
At this moment, Lu Yi and the others had already broken through the zombie horde and arrived at the apartment under the guidance of Shizuka Marikawa. According to Shizuka Marikawa, the apartment belonged to one of her female friends. Since she was often away from home, she had given her the key so that she could help ventilate the apartment.
"You guys go wash up and go to bed first. We'll keep watch here tonight," Lu Yi said to the girls as he entered the apartment. The girls didn't hesitate and went into the bathroom.
"Quick, come and see!" Hirano Toda's excited shouts rang out shortly after the girls entered the bathroom.
"What's wrong?" Hearing Hirano Toda's shout, Komuro and Lu Yi went over and saw Hirano Toda holding several boxes. Komuro, who had come over, was shocked when he saw what Hirano Toda was holding and said, "This... these are bullets."
“That’s right. Since there are bullets, there must be guns in here too,” Hirano said excitedly.
“What you said makes a lot of sense, but taking someone else’s things without their permission, isn’t that…” Komuro said hesitantly.
“It’s okay, as long as we have these things, we can definitely survive,” Hirano Toda said.
Lu Yi shook his head at them, ignoring them, and walked to the window to look at the beautiful stars in the sky. For a moment, he fell into deep thought.

Chapter Six: Alice
Lu Yi stared at the sky for a long time without moving, like a statue.
"Woof woof..." A dog's bark startled Lu Yi, who was still deep in thought. The bark was particularly loud in the quiet night, attracting all the zombies that had been wandering around like ghosts to the outside of the apartment. They surrounded the place in layers, making it impossible to get through. Hearing the noise outside, everyone inside also came out.
"What happened?" Saeko Busujima asked as she walked up to Lu Yi.
