"We're in a bit of a predicament. The screams we just heard have attracted all the zombies around here, and they've surrounded us," Lu Yi replied, looking down without turning around.

"Hmm?" Just then, Lu Yi's gaze suddenly fixed on a certain spot, and his brows furrowed.

"What's wrong?" Saeko Busujima asked, noticing Lu Yi's furrowed brows.

Lu Yi didn't speak, but kept his eyes fixed on the spot. He saw a middle-aged man holding a weapon leading a little girl, walking cautiously along the wall. When they arrived at the door of a villa, they saw lights inside, so they opened the door and led the little girl inside.

"Please open the door, please let us in," the middle-aged man said, leading the little girl to the door and knocking.

"Don't come any closer, go somewhere else." The door didn't open, but this was the reply from inside.

"Please, I don't care what happens to me, please save my daughter," the middle-aged man pleaded.

However, the person inside did not answer again, clearly rejecting his request.

"Open the door! If you don't open the door, I'll smash it down! Open the door now!" The middle-aged man looked at the tightly closed door in despair, but soon, a madness flashed in his eyes, and he raised the weapon in his hand and roared with a ferocious expression.

"Wait...wait a minute, I'll open the door right away." Hearing the middle-aged man's harsh words, the person inside finally agreed to open the door. Then, the door slowly opened.

"Thank you..." Seeing the door finally open, the middle-aged man's face lit up with joy, but he couldn't finish the word "thank you" because the only response he received was a fruit knife thrust straight into his abdomen, forcing him to swallow the rest of the "thank you." The middle-aged man stared in disbelief at the piercing knife, despair returning to his eyes, before swaying and collapsing to the ground.

"Daddy!" the little girl cried as she ran to the middle-aged man's side.

"Daddy...it's okay...hide...don't let anyone find out..." the middle-aged man said haltingly, looking at the little girl with a gentle expression. Then he closed his eyes and fell silent.

"No, no... I want to be with my dad, to be with my dad forever." The little girl hugged the middle-aged man's corpse and cried out. Her cries echoed through the sky, attracting all the zombies around her. They walked slowly but firmly toward the little girl.

"Hirano." Seeing this situation, Lu Yi said to Hirano who was standing to the side.

"Hai, understood." A gunshot rang out, and Hirano Toda, who had been observing the situation below, also witnessed what had just happened. Now, hearing Lu Yi's words, he naturally knew what to do, so he fired a shot, blowing the head off a zombie closest to the little girl.

"Good technique, Hirano," Lu Yi praised Hirano Toda.

“Of course,” Hirano Toda said smugly. Several more gunshots rang out, killing all the zombies surrounding the little girl, each one with a headshot.

"I'm going to save her, you guys stay here." Lu Yi said with a light smile. Then, he lightly touched the ground with his toes and floated up as if he were weightless. Then he touched the railing on the balcony again, and Lu Yi rushed towards the girl like an arrow on a bowstring.

Saeko Busujima and the others had been so stunned by Lu Yi's endless stream of methods that they were now completely numb to it. When they saw Lu Yi's inhuman actions, all they could see in their eyes was that it was only natural.

Lu Yi rushed over and punched the zombie that was reaching out its claws at the little girl, sending it flying. Then he turned to the little girl, who was still stunned, and asked with a smile, "What's your name?"

"Alice... Alice." The little girl couldn't help but say her name when she heard Lu Yi's gentle words.

“Alice? That’s a beautiful name. You’re very brave. Come, let’s go together.” Lu Yi said, extending his hand to Alice.

"Okay." When Lu Yi heard Alice agree, he carried her on his back, and at the same time grabbed the equally loyal little dog that had always protected Alice, stuffed it into his arms, and with a leap, flew to the roof.

"Big brother, are you Superman?" Alice asked Lu Yi with a look of admiration.

"Hehe... What's Superman? He's not even worthy of carrying my shoes," Lu Yi said with a laugh, looking at Alice's adoring expression.

"Really? Big brother is amazing." "Woof woof woof..." Even the puppy in Lu Yi's arms started barking and teasing, occasionally sticking out its tongue to lick Lu Yi's face, making Lu Yi's face covered in drool.

"Hehe..." Lu Yi patted the puppy's head to make it stop, then turned to Alice and said, "Do you hate them?" Lu Yi pointed to the house below and then to the corpse of Alice's father across the street.

"..." Alice lowered her head and remained silent. After a long while, Alice finally raised her head, looked at her father's corpse, shook her head, and said, "No, I don't hate them."

"Really? You're so kind, Alice." Lu Yi gently patted Alice's head and said softly.

Just then, the sound of motor vehicles came from not far away. Looking up, they saw Saeko Busujima and the others driving an SUV toward them.

"Lu Yi, over here." Lu Yi saw Saeko Busujima waving at him, turned around and smiled at Alice, "Alice, want to experience the feeling of flying?"

“Great, great!” Alice said excitedly.

"Haha... You'd better hold on tight to me then." Lu Yi laughed and said, then leaped and floated towards Saeko Busujima and the others, like a weightless feather drifting in the air, or like an immortal ascending to heaven, giving people an unreal feeling.

Chapter Seven: A Narrow Escape

"Charge out!" After landing in the car, Lu Yi put Alice inside, stood up, pointed ahead, and said with great bravado.

As soon as Lu Yi finished speaking, the SUV sped forward like an arrow, leaving nothing but desolation in its wake. All the zombies that dared to block its way were sent flying.

And so they drove for a day and a night without sleep.

Lu Yi had been standing on the roof of the car observing the situation ahead for a day and a night. Sleep was no longer a necessity for him. He looked down at Saeko Busujima, who had fallen asleep in his arms due to exhaustion. Saeko had shed her strong facade and a peaceful smile appeared on her face. Looking at her, Lu Yi couldn't help but reach out and stroke her soft hair. At that moment, Saeko's long eyelashes fluttered, and she opened her still sleepy eyes.

"You're awake." Lu Yi said when he saw that Saeko Busujima was awake.

"Hmm, where are we?" Hearing Lu Yi's voice, Saeko Busujima finally woke up. Seeing that she was still lying in Lu Yi's warm embrace, she was startled and quickly sat up, leaving Lu Yi's embrace. At the same time, her face was flushed and she said shyly.

"Hehe...we..." Lu Yi was about to answer when he realized that the road ahead was blocked by iron railings. Seeing this, Lu Yi shouted to Shizuka Marikawa, who was still driving in a daze, "Shizuka-sensei, stop the car quickly! The road ahead is blocked by iron railings!"

Excessive fatigue had left Shizuka Marikawa drowsy. Hearing Lu Yi's voice was like a bolt from the blue, instantly waking her from her slumber. Her sleepiness vanished, and her foot instinctively pressed the brake. But at that crucial moment, the brakes malfunctioned, and the car couldn't stop.

"No, the brakes are broken, the car can't stop at all, what should we do?" came the anxious voice of Shizuka Marikawa from inside the car.

"There's no other way." Seeing this, Lu Yi stood up from the car.

"What are you going to do?" Saeko Busujima asked, puzzled, as she saw Lu Yi stand up.

"I'm going to get out and force the car to stop," Lu Yi said to Saeko Busujima.

“But the car is going too fast, and there are too many zombies ahead. It’s dangerous for you to keep going like this,” Saeko Busujima said with a worried expression.

"Don't worry, it's okay, trust me, okay?" Lu Yi said gently to Saeko Busujima.

"Yes." Saeko Busujima nodded involuntarily when she saw Lu Yi's confident eyes.

Lu Yi smiled slightly, then stomped hard on the car. The car paused for a moment, and Lu Yi used the force to rush forward at almost twice the speed of the car. Then, Lu Yi's body suddenly stopped in mid-air, defying inertia. This strong visual impact made everyone feel like vomiting.

Then, Lu Yi's body landed lightly on the ground. At the same time, he waved his hands to the sides, and a powerful aura emanated from Lu Yi's body, surging outwards along his arms and blowing away all the zombies around him. This created a huge vacuum zone with a diameter of 10 meters. At this moment, the car was already in front of Lu Yi. Lu Yi was not flustered. He raised his hand, clenched his fist, and punched the hood of the car, destroying the car's power components. The car was still rushing forward due to inertia, but Lu Yi held it firmly, preventing it from moving forward an inch. Soon, the car came to a complete stop.

"Are you all alright? The car has stopped." Lu Yi asked the people inside the car after seeing it stop.

After the car stopped, Hirano Toda stuck his head out and, with his gun in the car, began firing wildly at the zombies in front of him. However, there were too many zombies to kill them all. He said anxiously, "We're alright, but there are just more and more zombies. What do we do?"

"It seems there's no need to hide it any longer," Lu Yi thought to himself with a sigh of relief.

Just as Lu Yi was about to eliminate all the zombies in front of him by himself, he heard footsteps behind him. Turning around, he saw a group of people in firefighter uniforms rushing towards him. Under the command of a leader, they were effectively and quickly eliminating the zombies in front of them.

"Come over here quickly," the leader said, opening the railing and addressing the people who were still standing there in a daze.

Finally, the person regained consciousness and passed through the narrow space in an orderly manner.

"Thank you for saving us." The survivors, panting heavily, lay on the ground. After a long while, Shizuka Marikawa, their teacher, approached the leader and said gratefully.

"I was just saving my daughter and her friends." As the leader spoke, he took off the fire helmet he had been wearing, revealing a stunningly beautiful middle-aged woman with long, fiery red hair.

"Mom, it's Mom!" Takagi Saya cried out excitedly as she ran over to the middle-aged woman and threw herself into her arms.

(Just to clarify, I don't plan to include the two original female leads, Li and Gao Cheng, as I personally don't like them much.)

Chapter 8: The Head of the Gao Cheng Family

At home in Gaocheng.

At this moment, Lu Yi called Saeko Busujima, Shizuka Marikawa, and the little girl Alice into his room for a secret discussion.

"What? How did you know?" They all stared at Lu Yi in shock, not knowing what he had said to Saeko Busujima and the others. Shizuka Marikawa even jumped up from her chair and shouted.

"I received this information when I was passing through the United States. I initially thought it was just a prank and didn't take it seriously. But what has happened now proves the accuracy of that information," Lu Yi explained.

"This... how is this possible? Why? Why would they do this? Don't they know that once this virus breaks out, it could absolutely destroy humanity?" Shizuka Marikawa said angrily.

"I don't know either," Lu Yi said helplessly.

"Isn't there any way to stop it?" Saeko Busujima asked softly from the side. The other two also looked at Lu Yi expectantly.

"Well... there is a way, but..." Lu Yi thought for a moment and said, but then paused at the end.

"But what?" Shizuka Marikawa asked anxiously, seeing that Lu Yi was still keeping her in suspense.

"This requires a large amount of T-virus antiserum. But that's not the key point. The most crucial thing is how to spread these antidotes all over the world after obtaining them, and how to ensure that no place is missed. That's the problem. With current technology, it's impossible to do that no matter what." After thinking for a while, Lu Yi still said it.

"You must have a way, right?" Everyone looked at Lu Yi expectantly.

"That's why I asked you to come here," Lu Yi said with a smile.

"You really have a way! Tell me quickly, what is it?" Shizuka Marikawa said excitedly.

"Hehe... It's complicated to explain, I'll just send the information to you directly." Before they could react, he waved his hand at them, and they immediately felt a large amount of information appear in their minds. They quickly sat down to process the information that had suddenly appeared in their minds.

After a long while, they finally opened their eyes, their eyes clearly showing undisguised shock.

"You...you're not from this world?" Shizuka Marikawa asked in shock, pointing a trembling finger at Lu Yi.

"So big brother isn't from this world." Unlike Shizuka Marikawa's shock, little Alice looked at Lu Yi with her innocent voice and curious eyes and said.

Saeko Busujima looked at Lu Yi as if he were a monster. Lu Yi felt his scalp tingling from their stares and had no choice but to raise his hands in surrender, saying helplessly, "Hey, can you guys stop looking at me like that? It feels weird."

"I only now realize how wondrous and mysterious this world is," Shizuka Marikawa exclaimed. Saeko Busujima and Alice also looked on with amazement.

"Hehe... If everything here is resolved, would you be willing to leave this world with me and go see other worlds?" Lu Yi tempted.

"Okay, okay!" Alice excitedly raised both hands in agreement.

"Hehe... What about you guys?" Hearing Alice's excited expression, Lu Yi laughed, then turned to Saeko Busujima and Shizuka Marikawa and asked.

"Of course I'm going! How could I miss out on something so fun?" Shizuka Marikawa rolled her eyes at Lu Yi and said.

Saeko Busujima was rather reserved and simply nodded.

"Alright, then let's resolve this matter here as soon as possible and then leave," Lu Yi said. However, inwardly, Lu Yi chuckled wickedly, thinking, "Once you're on my ship, you won't be able to escape, hehe... As for Alice, let her rest for a few years!"

"Boom..." Just as Lu Yi was still chuckling to himself, the roar of a motor vehicle came from outside, making the entire room tremble slightly.

"What happened?" The loud noise startled Lu Yi, who was still lost in his reverie.

"I don't know," said Shizuka Marikawa, looking equally puzzled, as did the others.

"Never mind, let's go, let's go out and see." With that, she naturally walked out. Saeko Busujima and the others followed closely behind as they left the room.

On the balcony, Rei, Komuro, Takagi Saya, and Hirano Toda had already arrived.

"What happened?" Lu Yi asked when he saw the four of them.

"See for yourself!" Takagi Saya said expressionlessly.

"This is..." Lu Yi looked at the cars that drove into the courtyard. After all the cars stopped, the door of the first car opened and a dignified middle-aged man stepped out. Seeing the middle-aged man, Lu Yi looked at Takagi Saya and asked.
