Thinking back, what he said does seem to make sense.

Within the entire LPL ecosystem, this guy's stats are quite outrageous. He has the highest AD conversion rate per minute, the highest AD damage taken per minute, and the highest AD damage output per minute. In fact, during S11, he didn't play many games with champions like Ezreal or Senna, meaning that the so-called invalid damage doesn't actually exist.

His sudden death sparked widespread online discussion and criticism.

Despite the victories he achieved, few people praised him.

He inherited God's glory, but he also inherited God's burden.

Despite having already reached his peak, he never considered retiring at the height of his career. Even when he was at his most dominant, he would still decisively step forward for that sliver of hope of victory.

This is JKL, and also his AD partner.

Do you think we can win tomorrow?

"can."

"So confident?"

"Because I'm the AD carry, and we're a duo that's only been playing together for less than six months. To be honest, when we were dominating the Korean server, didn't we just crush them easily?"

"Indeed, if you don't get a headache."

"Each each other."

......

"If I see an opportunity tomorrow..."

"Then let's go."

"If it's a trap."

"I'll sell you off immediately and decisively."

"If I hesitate tomorrow..."

"I'll yell at you to wake you up."

"You really should be my support."

"Each each other."

Metamorphosis: Chapter Thirty-Two: The First Row Standing on the Throne of Strength

On May 2nd, when TES and JDG stood on the field once again, the bell rang, signaling the start of the finals.

Here it comes!

[Attendees are requested to wear tuxedos, bring wine glasses, and be prepared with chive dumplings. Thank you.]

The Battle of the Century in Pingxiang

[GKD, GKD!]

A large group of fans had already gathered in the live broadcast room early on. This was the Spring Season Finals, a rare and prestigious competition of the year. The number of champions with greater honors could be counted on one hand, so it naturally attracted a lot of attention.

Unfortunately, due to the natural disaster, there were still no spectators at the match.

As a promotional video for the final battle, the LPL official account kept up with the times, first showing the hardships and sacrifices people made when fighting natural disasters, and then showing the players' trash talk videos.

Upon seeing this part, countless experts quietly turned on their recording devices. Although the more aggressive the trash talk, the better, since it's ultimately just a hobby, some people just love to seize on certain remarks and use them online.

Today's trash talk can serve as valuable experience for the next six months on Tieba.

At first, it was all relatively mild trash talk, mostly just copying recent popular memes and paying homage to old ones from predecessors. This was normal and didn't attract much attention from the audience. At most, they would mention the names of the older generation when paying tribute.

Until... when the vlog's progress bar reached the middle, and after the other four speakers had finished their rounds and it was Roland's turn, everything changed:

"I'm not here to perform stand-up comedy, I'm here to beat you up."

With the support player initiating the team fight, TES' trash talk became increasingly outrageous, with one bold statement after another such as "crushing", "stomp", and "it will definitely be 3-0", leaving the viewers in front of the screen completely dumbfounded.

[Wow, so Banhuang really is TES's chief initiator, huh?]

I'm dumbfounded, how the hell can this even be driven?!

[At first glance, it sounds incredibly exciting, but then I realized, aren't you supposed to be a support?]

[Why is support no longer effective? Warning: Intentional punch!]

After watching the vlog, the entire LPL audience immediately got excited. One person's provocation is called being unconventional, but a group's provocation is a team's style. Today happened to be TES, who favors offense, versus JDG, who favors defense, and the trash talk alone perfectly showcased the styles of both teams.

In fact, many of the comments praised the creative choice.

Throughout the entire venue, only the JDG players stared blankly at the screen, their minds racing, wondering if they had encountered a ghost at the official recording studio a few days ago. They clearly remembered that TES hadn't recorded this kind of thing!

Roland from TES, who had also watched the documentary, was somewhat moved.

"It's a pity my expression wasn't quite right, otherwise I could have been even more handsome."

"Alright, that's enough of a show-off. Look at the group you started. If you're any more arrogant, people might come over for a real-life PvP after the competition."

"Alright, alright, let's proceed according to plan."

"no problem."

In the first game, TES's strategy was to hold back and continue using their old predictions against JDG, which would also allow them to see how JDG would react to the changes.

If it had tried to hide, TES would have won the first game.

If it doesn't hide, a best-of-five series will always allow Roland to discover its weaknesses and habits.

Unsurprisingly, JDG won the first game due to their status as the defending team and their advantage in choosing sides, coupled with the new gameplay of the current version.

To explain, the game version transitioned to 10.8 (April 16th) some time ago, so the new version was already implemented on the finals stage. And looking at S10, this patch was crucial; it was practically a microcosm of the World Championship patches.

To give a brief overview:

1. Miss Fortune's movement speed has been nerfed (as explained earlier), Aphelios' ultimate has been weakened, and Sett has been weakened. This means that the core heroes of teams that previously focused on team fight compositions have completely lost their advantage, and the pace of the game has shifted from team fights to poke.

2. [New] Upon death, gain a simplified version of the [Homeguard] effect, which reduces the time it takes for the player to return to lane by 2.5 seconds, indirectly strengthening poke-style heroes.

3.打野刀改革,【新增】在1-6级时,单人击杀获得的经验提高20%,有人助攻的击杀获得的经验减少20%。在7-8级时,上述效果数值降至10%。

Then comes the key point: Jungle camps now grant 1.25x experience at level 9 and above, but now grant 1.35x experience at level 9 and above. This change in experience mechanics, combined with the Homeguard effect mentioned in point two, provides a huge boost to jungle carry junglers.

In other words, the current meta has shifted to poke-style heroes dominating, with junglers focusing on jungle carries and relying more on lane control and early-game fighting ability.

This is why Roland has been hiding in the meeting room with White Crescent to study the changes these past few days. This change is essentially giving JDG a skin with +10 attack power right before the finals.

It's absolutely disgusting.

"How about it?"

"I'm starting to get a better idea. We'll take the blue side and go straight for the kill."

In the second game, TES decisively chose the blue side.

First round of bans:

TES: Graves, LeBlanc, Kalista

JDG: Varus, Syndra, Zoe

There's nothing else to it, we're just forcing you to take these three bans. In the current version, any mainstream poke hero that gets banned will die, and that's the advantage of the blue side in this version.

One round of PICK:

TES: Troll Warlord, Aatrox, Draven

JDG: Aphelios, Ornn, Azir

JKL's choice of Draven truly struck a chord with the JDG team. In the current meta, there are only a handful of top AD carries: Aphelios, Varus, and Kalista. Miss Fortune has fallen from grace due to the nerf to her movement speed.

But the problem is, there's an ADC who's completely independent of the clouds, and that's my great Draven.

He has range, damage, and lane control.

As for POKE ability?

There's still one more ultimate move, isn't there? When I chose this, I didn't even consider engaging in a long-range shootout with you guys, okay? I've already basically banned all the pokeable items.

Second round of bans: Thresh, Braum, Corki, Sylas

The red team wasted four bans on poke champions, which reflects the current meta. For their fourth pick, JDG chose Lee Sin; besides Graves, he's one of the few mainstream junglers who can counter Trundle.

In their fourth and fifth picks, TES chose Leona and Viktor to farm in the mid lane, while JDG predictably picked Tahm Kench as their last pick.

Due to version changes, the ban and pick strategies in the S10 Spring Split playoffs are difficult to modify significantly. Either both sides ban all of them, or both sides allow them and each pick half. It's relatively difficult to come up with any unusual strategies.

The competition has now officially begun.

Metamorphosis: Chapter Thirty-Three: The Strongest Man Fifteen Minutes Ago

In this game, both junglers farmed from bottom to top.

In terms of jungle clearing, the early-game Trundle is definitely no match for Lee Sin, who can rely on his second-tier jungle skills. But there's no other way; he has to start like this to reach level three and go up to protect the top laner.

369's Aatrox often pushes the lane too far in a matchup, and this weakness is magnified when facing junglers like Kanavi. Therefore, it's not that TES necessarily needs to focus on the top lane; their core strategy is simply to prevent the top lane from collapsing in the early game.

"Then you guys can enjoy it yourselves."

"Go on, go on. In this version, no jungler is stupid enough to gank bot lane at level two. My lord, times have changed." Roland replied to Karsa with a grin, and then followed JKL back to his lane.

Looking at the Moon Man and Tahm Kench on the other side of the lane, there's not much to say, just go into the bushes and start applying pressure.

A level 1 Tahm Kench paired with Aphelios is extremely weak.

The Japanese heroine can just go into the middle bush in the bottom lane and keep going in and out, putting pressure on you. It'll scare you half to death. If you learn Q, and they charge in and you just AQ, you can hit them and run away. Draven can even finish you off with two more axes. You'll lose big time. If you learn W, well, forget about it. You might as well just AFK under the tower, kid.

This time, it was the combination that was dominant.

Even if Leona and Draven are only level 1, just the two of them standing next to the minion wave can put absolutely terrifying pressure on the opponent.

The pressure is even greater when players rush to level two and can't keep up, and they don't push the lane.

Just a side note: there are techniques involved in pushing the lane.

It's not that you have to push the lane just because you're in the winning lane. Rather, because you're in the winning lane, you can choose when to push the lane. For example, right now the river crab hasn't spawned yet, and your jungler is still in the upper jungle, so you don't need to worry about the lane for the time being.

As long as the lane remains in the middle, Yue Nan and Lv Mao must be prepared to withstand the threat of a sudden attack from the enemy. Just as the enemy support used up their Q skill, Roland's Leona decisively pointed at Tahm Kench.
