Victoria, in the North, on the southern slopes of the Forgotten Mountains.

A single, stubborn, withered leaf hung from a dead branch. As the fluctuations of the alien realm swept through this space, it slowly drifted down and finally disappeared in mid-air, leaving no trace of its existence.

Ernest and Winston looked particularly grim. Although the steam-armored soldiers were not Victoria's most powerful and elite fighting force, they were still the backbone of the state's violent machinery. Losing three squads at the border in one go, even if it wasn't a crippling blow, still made Ernest feel very uncomfortable.

However, Miss Mostima, who was standing next to Wayne, was even more distressed than him.

Mostima's small mouth gaped slightly, her eyes widened in shock, and her face was filled with disbelief.

She unconsciously took a few steps forward, only snapping out of her daze when Wayne stopped her. However, what awaited her was an even greater blow.

Where are my musketeer cavalry? Where are my musketeer cavalry?! The six fully armed musketeer cavalrymen who were just in front of me a moment ago are gone.

How did it suddenly disappear?

Mostima grabbed Wayne's arm. She had been standing next to Wayne when he was explaining the situation of the demon to Winster. After hearing his explanation, she naturally assumed that Wayne would know more about what the demon had just done than she did.

However, in reality, Wayne wasn't entirely clear either.

He knew that the kingdom possessed the ability to forcibly defeat enemies, but he didn't know what this ability would look like in reality until he witnessed everything that had just happened.

The demon simply reached out and crushed a small energy ball that looked smaller than a mon3tr energy blast. The fully armed steam-armored soldiers, along with the wheeled musketeers who hadn't had time to retreat, disappeared right before Vayne's eyes.

Faced with Mostima's question, Wayne could only offer his guess.

"They were sent to another dimension."

According to Kal'tsit's description of the demonic fragments wielded by the Ursus Emperor's blade during her walk in the dust, each inner guard is a kingdom. When they release their kingdoms without regard for the cost, completely corrupting the land beneath their feet, it symbolizes that the land has disappeared from its original space and become an enemy of rampaging demons.

In the game, "forced knockdown" that ignores the invincibility effect could be equated to a sudden increase in the pollution concentration of the enemy in front of you in reality, banishing them to a demonic realm shrouded in black mist, that is, sending the enemy to another dimension.

Wayne had roughly figured out the demons' modus operandi, but Mostima, hearing this explanation for the first time, could only have one thought echoing in his mind—I can't accept it!

The mighty Revolver Cavalry, armed with the arsenal of a lost civilization within the ruins and clad in the latest Originium armor, each one they trained represented a tremendous effort from Laterano. But now, Wayne tells her that six Revolver Cavalry have been sent to another dimension by a demon.

Terra has people who die from Oripathy, those killed on the battlefield, and those betrayed during internal strife, but what the hell is this about sending someone to another dimension?

Mostima rolled up his sleeves, itching to rush forward and summon his fists in an attack stance, to send this damned demon to another dimension.

These are irreplaceable talents of Laterano! The weapons they wield are relics of civilization! They followed me, Mostima, out of Laterano to save Prince Wayne, and now, in just fifteen days, they are all gone. How can I, Mostima, face His Holiness the Pope in Laterano and the elders of Sarkaz?

Even when she sent money to Wayne, she never felt this heartbroken. After all, that money was an investment that would yield returns. But now she had lost the musket cavalry and a large amount of weaponry and equipment, which were priceless treasures.

Mostima fell into a state of grief. Wayne understood her feelings, but there were more important things to do than comfort Miss Mostima.

For example, to survive.

After dealing with the annoying insects, the demon finally turned its attention to Wayne and the others, especially Mostima and Ernest.

These two individuals were, one being the culprit who hindered its assimilation of the forest and its use of it as a base to destroy those annoying sentry posts on the mountaintop, and the other being the weak human who destroyed the forest maze it had painstakingly created over so long.

It must eliminate these two people and banish them into the "kingdom" to become its nourishment.

The demon raised its hand, and the black mist of the kingdom began to spread rapidly toward Wayne. Winster immediately stood in front of Wayne, and the Originium Arts of the Unicorn created a field of light in front of him, which actually blocked the invasion of the black mist.

A thousand years ago, in a primitive age when weak humans had not yet learned to use Originium, their weapons were not yet sophisticated, and nations had not yet been established, it was these immortal beings who personally guarded the border between demons and human civilization, protecting the fragile Terran humans as they grew step by step to where they are today.

They played diverse roles: some fierce, some benevolent, some silent observers, some personal protectors. Their fates varied greatly. The fierce gods of the Great Yan were defeated and driven out, while the benevolent gods became vassals of the court. Yan became a nation where human will triumphed over nature. The long-lived race of Ursus succumbed to imperial power and the army, choosing to integrate into the empire, becoming regional lords, or to shun worldly affairs and live in seclusion. The Sarkaz and the Sakotas, one established a church to worship the gods, the other chose to integrate divine power into their bloodline; dozens of tribes represented dozens of superhuman strengths.

In Victoria, the unicorn and the monarchy achieved a balance: one ruled the empire under the sun, the other controlled the power in the shadows; one guarded the land under the sun, the other blocked the invasion from the darkness.

Although information about demons is not shared between nations to "prevent demons from growing stronger," Winster, who has been fighting demons in the shadows for thousands of years, is not so weak as to be defeated by a demon that has already shown its killing moves!

Although his fighting style is naturally countered by the demon before him, and his chances of winning against it are slim, he still possesses the ability to safely escort Prince Wayne and a group of important figures to a safe area.

Unable to break through the impenetrable defense of the Radiant Shield, which was like an eggshell, the black mist had no choice but to slowly encircle Winster. Time was of the essence; once the kingdom surrounded Winster and Wayne, it would be too late to escape.

Winster turned around and looked at Wayne, just about to advise Wayne to make a "strategic retreat" to preserve his forces, when he met Wayne's serious gaze.

Wayne took a deep breath and asked:

"Winston, if I could make a kingdom vanish for a moment, are you confident you could kill it?"

Now that things have come to this, it's no time to hide anything.

Wayne clutched his chest, hoping that at this crucial moment, his damned Originium Arts and the so-called "memories" mixed within them wouldn't cause trouble.

Upon hearing this, Winster fell into a brief moment of contemplation, then raised his head and solemnly promised Wayne:

"can!"

"Well."

Wayne took a deep breath and looked at the inner guards who were shrouded in black mist and carrying the [Kingdom] as they slowly walked towards them. He took a deep breath and also took a step out of the pale golden light barrier in front of him.

Just before the black mist engulfed Wayne's body, he opened his mouth and stated in the sternest tone:

"stop!"

Mostima: "?"

Winster: "?"

Ernest: "?"

No way, Your Highness Wayne, you went through all that trouble just to walk out and say "Stop" to that monster who may or may not understand human speech?

If a mere "Stop!" that isn't even a verbal threat can stop the demon from releasing its kingdom, then if I, Mostima (Winster/Ernest), cry from night till dawn and from dawn till night, wouldn't I be able to cry the demon to death?

Isn't this ridiculous? The demons aren't Victoria's people, so why would they obey your orders?

Winster, both amused and exasperated, reached out to pull Wayne, who had put himself in danger for such a trivial matter, back into the light shield and retreat with him immediately. However, before he could even touch Wayne's body, a horrifying scene unfolded before his very eyes.

The demon stopped, lowering the arm that was manipulating the kingdom from mid-air. The kingdom that had already formed began to slowly recede, as if obeying Wayne's command. He "stopped"!

what happened?

Winster's mind went blank for a moment, and the next second, Wayne's roar came from beside his ear:

"What are you standing there for? I didn't tell you to stop, go for it!"

Chapter 97 Wayne's Originium Arts - Imperial Power (Part 2)

When Wayne shouted "Stop!", he was also filled with trepidation.

Originium Arts—the Mandate of Heaven for Emperors. This is why the King of the North, who had guarded the frontier for decades, was willing to rebel during the national mourning period to help Vayne seize the throne. As he said, with this Originium Arts, Vayne would be a born emperor.

The Drak symbolizes force and desire, while the Aslan symbolizes power and order. For countless generations, people have believed that Victoria was controlled by three forces, including these two. The Drak's force is manifested in their blazing flames; they possess fiery passion and temperament, and with their purest flames, they burn everything in the world.

But no one has ever considered that if the description of the red dragon Drak is not merely a simple description but a true statement, then what exactly is the meaning behind the so-called "power and order" of Aslan, who was on par with Drak and even defeated him with a weaker body and a shorter lifespan to be crowned Lord of Victoria?

The King of the North was a ruthless and cunning ruler, and ruthless rulers are more cautious and careful in their actions than heroes. If Wayne only possessed a Victorian claim that was greater than the sum of its parts, given his character, he would never have started a civil war to seize the throne. He knew that without a convincing claim and without the power to convince others, even if Wayne ascended the throne after his death, he would merely become a plaything in the hands of the many nobles of Londinium.

It was precisely because of his absolute confidence and possession of the most noble and sacred Originium Arts passed down in the bloodline of the Aslan race—[Heavenly Mandate]—that the King of the North dared to defy the world and usurp the throne.

Originium Arts – Imperial Power: Hidden Originium Arts within the bloodline of the Aslan clan. A symbol of those who wield power and establish order. Those who awaken this art can suppress all life forms with a spiritual will lower than their own and manipulate others regardless of their will. It is the embodiment of absolute and domineering imperial power!

However, naturally, the power of this Originium Arts will be greatly reduced for individuals with strong willpower. If their mental will is comparable to Vayne's, then Vayne can only achieve a brief restriction and cannot remotely control them. If their mental will is even stronger than Vayne's, then Vayne can only affect them for a moment, causing a brief daze, which is about the extent of a sudden stun and cannot cause any harm at all.

Some might say that in a duel between masters, a slight lapse in concentration can be fatal. But Wayne wants to tell those people that while they are right, Wayne is no master.

The Mandate of Heaven and imperial power are not lethal; if they cannot be suppressed, they cannot be suppressed. What can a moment of distraction do for Wayne? He cannot even break through the inner guards' shield.

Ultimately, if he were implemented into the game, he'd just be a support/buff, and an unreliable one at that. With good luck, he'd be a stun-shroom, causing enemies to attack themselves or commit suicide. With bad luck, he'd be a giant, moving shockwave device, capable of stunning and controlling enemies. If he was really unlucky, he'd probably be a high-ground specialist, stunned for a second upon landing, then retreating at lightning speed—the kind of character a skilled player wouldn't even see. He'd also be replaced by support specialists in other roles.

Thankfully, Wayne doesn't wear blue, otherwise he might have joined the Melancholy Blues group.

We've strayed a bit from the topic.

When Wayne offered to help Winster, he was actually more nervous than Ernest. He didn't know how strong the inner guard's mental fortitude was, or whether his sanity was depleted. He could only subjectively judge from the scene that the inner guard couldn't even speak and could only breathe heavily that the opponent's mental resistance should not be high.

When he stepped out of the shield and shouted "Stop!", his heart was filled with worry.

Worried about whether his Originium Arts could control the demon before him was only one aspect.

More importantly, there is the worry about whether one will experience social death.

After all, even if he couldn't control it, with Winster's strength, it would be relatively easy for him to lead Wayne and the others to a safe retreat. As long as they didn't willingly enter the [Kingdom] to their deaths, the probability of Wayne's life being in danger was actually not high. But if he couldn't control it, it wouldn't be Wayne's body that would die, but rather Wayne's image.

He certainly didn't want future generations to open the history books of Victoria, turn to his page, and see the account: "Faced with a formidable enemy, Prince Wayne of Wales stepped out of the shield with righteous indignation, roaring 'Stop!' Then, to no avail, he was punched back into the shield by the evil spirit, coughing up three liters of blood." That would be a joke.

The scene and the effect were no less impressive than Wayne shouting on the streets of Shenyang, drawing everyone's attention to me, and announcing that I was a paratrooper.

Then Wayne's old face will be ruined.

Fortunately, a social massacre did not occur. Originium Arts proved unexpectedly effective, and thus, this astonishing scene unfolded before Mostima's eyes. The advancing demon, like a machine whose gears had jammed, abruptly halted its progress. The engulfing realm began to shrink rapidly, the black mist dissipated, the pollution vanished, and the forest returned to normal space. The demon's raised right hand slowly lowered; just as Wayne had said, it truly "stopped"!

Winster stood there, stunned.

His gaze was fixed on Wayne's retreating figure. He saw not a relieved, satisfied young man, but an emperor who had just issued a decree, wielding divine authority and invincible power. He had only felt this way from "that person" long, long ago.

That person was none other than the first King of the Lions of Victoria, who led a large army to defeat the Drak family, the former rulers of Victoria, and established the name Aslan as an independent entity in the ordinary film, thus writing a new page in the annals of Victorian history.

Countless generations later, he saw the image of his old friend and monarch in a young boy. This strange, otherworldly feeling left Winston somewhat bewildered.

Mostima shared the same expression. The fallen angel girl's face was filled with bewilderment and helplessness, completely unable to comprehend what was happening before her.

What happened? Why did even the demons stop at His Highness Wayne's command?

Is the demon a subordinate of Prince Wayne?

No, impossible. Demons, enemies of civilization, could not possibly be subordinates of any civilized being. So how did Prince Wayne manage to do it?

An answer flashed through Mostima's mind—Originium Arts.

Only Originium, whose mystery remains unsolved to this day, and Originium Arts derived from it, could possibly explain the current mysterious phenomena.

But what kind of terrifying Originium Arts could be so powerful as to command even demons?

Mostima's expression grew increasingly complicated. She couldn't help but ask herself again, "Does Prince Wayne, with such abilities, really need her to save him?"

Was she fooled?

Only Ernest remained calm. It wasn't that he wasn't surprised; he was just used to it.

Prince Wayne had done so many incredible things that Ernest, as a witness, had become somewhat numb to them. While commanding demons was indeed unprecedented and worthy of astonishment, for some reason, Ernest only felt a sense of indifference, like, "Ah, it was Prince Wayne who did it? Well, that's alright then." It was as if anything, no matter how impossible, suddenly became logical once the name Wayne Bruce was involved.

He even felt a strange sense of superiority looking at the surprised expressions on Mostima and Winster's faces.

Wow, even an arrogant Lateran, a tyrant in the shadow of Victoria, would show such an expression in front of Prince Wayne?

I love seeing that naive, country bumpkin look on your faces!

Seeing that Winster hadn't made a move yet, Wayne turned around angrily and cursed:

"What are you standing there for! I didn't tell you to stop!"
