The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Upon seeing the newcomer, Scott and Ramiro both put away their pistols.
Scott swiftly cast a memory spell on one of the bandits, altering their memories.
At the same time, he quickly whispered to Ramiro, "Don't tell anyone that I'm a wizard."
Ramiro nodded.
"Gentlemen, are you alright?" The driver who had been driving Scott that day rushed up to them, covered in sweat.
“We’re fine, Jaime,” Ramiro said.
He clearly knew the driver.
"It's good that you're alright." The driver glanced at the two boys a few times and couldn't help but breathe a sigh of relief.
He glanced at the two unconscious thugs on the ground, his eyes instantly turning fierce. "So these are them! You took them down? Well done, boys!"
Benita and park staff ran over at that moment.
Scott, impatient with negotiating with the staff, gave Ramiro a look that said "take it or leave it" and stood quietly to the side.
Benita walked up to Scott.
"Thank goodness, you're all alright!" The girl was clearly terrified; her eyes were still filled with tears, and her makeup was ruined.
“I’m sorry I startled you,” Scott apologized to her. “And thank you, Benita, you were really brave.”
“I’m fine.” Benita shook her head gently.
At this moment, she and Scott were a step apart.
Scott had already keenly sensed that the girl's attitude towards him had changed.
The girl was probably startled by his sudden action of pulling out a gun. She lost her previous enthusiasm and boldness and instead became somewhat afraid of him.
Scott suddenly felt bored.
He knew that Benita's reaction was only natural.
After all, this girl is only a 16-year-old junior high school graduate and could not have experienced such a dangerous thing.
It's normal for her to subconsciously want to stay away from Scott.
It's already quite remarkable that she was able to bring people back after escaping.
When they first met, Benita could jokingly describe Scott as "mysterious and dangerous," but when the "mystery" disappeared and the "danger" was laid bare, all the romance in the girl's mind would probably shatter instantly.
Scott understood this perfectly and didn't find it strange.
He simply became more convinced of one idea—
It will probably be really difficult for me to find a suitable girlfriend.
This has nothing to do with whether the other person is a Muggle or a wizard.
Even among wizards, most young witches probably wouldn't be able to accept some of his ways of doing things.
Does he have to pretend in front of his romantic partner?
Just thinking about it was too exhausting, and he wouldn't stoop to doing it.
Although Scott was thinking about these things, he still politely comforted Benita, "Don't worry, everything is fine here now. I think my uncle will send someone over to handle it, and you can go home soon."
"Hmm." Benita nodded, her eyes lowered, avoiding eye contact with him.
By this time, Ramiro had finished negotiating with the staff, and most of the staff had dispersed to search for Candela, who was nowhere to be found unconscious.
Scott couldn't worry about Benita for the time being.
He pulled Ramiro aside and whispered to him, "It would be best to keep this a secret and not let what happened to us today spread. Can Uncle Caleb do that?"
Ramiro frowned. "It's difficult... but it should be doable."
Just then, his cell phone rang.
"It was Dad calling."
Ramiro quickly answered the phone, "Dad, yes...we're okay...the thing is...yes...Jamie is handling it...Scott is here."
He handed the phone to Scott, saying, "You talk to Dad."
Scott took the phone. "Uncle."
"Are you alright, Scott?" Caleb's voice came through the phone. "Thank you for saving Ramiro. And don't worry about anyone finding out about you."
Scott said, "There's someone behind this. You'd better keep the news completely under wraps to avoid alerting them. Maybe we can lure the mastermind out."
"Are you sure?" Caleb asked solemnly.
“If the information blockade is successful, I am confident,” Scott replied affirmatively.
“Okay, I will do so,” Caleb said decisively. “You wait there, I will have Ramos come to pick you up!”
After saying that, he hung up the phone.
“Ramos will come to pick us up.” Scott handed the phone to Ramiro.
Ramiro immediately said with a bitter face, "Oh, what a pity, Ramos is going to nag again!"
At this point, the staff finally found Candela lying in a corner of the "maze".
"That's great, she's alright! She's just unconscious!" the staff member said happily.
Candela was quickly taken to the park's medical room.
"Aren't you going to see your girlfriend?" Scott asked Ramiro, who was still standing in front of him.
"Girlfriend?" Ramiro shook his head. "No, Candela is not my girlfriend. We just had a lot of fun together last night."
"..."
Scott had nothing to say about this.
Caleb and Ramos were quick, and it wasn't long before Ramos arrived at the scene with a team of plainclothes police officers.
The two unconscious robbers were arrested. Scott, Ramiro, and Benita only gave brief statements at the scene before leaving the park led by Ramos.
On the way out, Ramos said calmly, "Leave that to Jaime; he'll take care of everything."
Neither Scott nor Ramiro commented on this.
They first took Benita home.
At Hernandez's house, Scott got out of the car and said goodbye to Benita.
“I’m sorry, Benita,” Scott apologized again. “You shouldn’t have had to go through this.”
Benita shook her head.
At this moment, she finally looked up and met Scott's gaze.
“I’m sorry, Scott.”
She gave Scott a gentle hug and said, her voice trembling with tears.
"You're such a charming boy, but I'm scared..."
"It's okay. I told you, you shouldn't have to go through this."
Scott said gently, patting her back lightly.
Benita stepped out of his embrace, looked up at him, as if to remember him.
After a long silence, she whispered, "Goodbye, Scott."
“Goodbye, Benita.” Scott looked at her with a smile.
Benita gave him one last deep look before turning and walking into the house without looking back.
Scott stood there, watching her red dress disappear into the house.
He knew they probably wouldn't see each other again.
Actually, he quite admired Benita; she was a rational girl.
She knows exactly what she wants and knows when to cut her losses.
Scott believes this is a quality worth admiring.
"Scott...you..."
After Scott got back into the car, he noticed that Ramiro seemed to want to say something but couldn't.
At this moment, his cousin looked at him with eyes full of guilt.
"I'm sorry, it's all my fault," he wailed. "I ruined your first love!"
"..."
Scott was taken aback by his words, gave him a disgruntled look, and didn't want to pay him any attention.
Chapter 250 Scott is refused participation
In the car, Ramiro kept rambling on and on, feeling guilty for ruining his cousin's first love.
Scott listened with a blank expression as his cousin apologized the whole way, thinking to himself, "How dare this little cousin say that his older cousin Ramos is long-winded?"
He tried to hold back, but in the end, he couldn't bear it any longer.
He said directly to Ramiro, "It's okay. Benita and I only planned to have a summer-limited romance anyway, so this is just an early end to it."
"I see?" Ramiro immediately smiled knowingly, his expression revealing that he understood, and stopped his incessant apologies.
Just as Scott was about to breathe a sigh of relief, Ramos, who was driving, spoke up again, "Very well, are you done talking?"
Ramiro's expression changed, as if he wanted to say something.
But Ramos showed no sign of stopping. He first seriously criticized Ramiro for being "completely unsuspecting," and then criticized Scott for being "bold and reckless."
Even after the two men apologized, he didn't back down. Instead, he launched into a lengthy attack on Ramiro's bad habits, relentlessly criticizing him from head to toe.
Seeing Ramiro's constipated expression, Scott, who was out of the attack range, couldn't help but secretly breathe a sigh of relief.
Surprisingly, Ramiro wasn't lying.
My cousin Ramos may seem serious and unsmiling, but once he starts talking, he can't stop.
