When they finally arrived at their uncle's house, Scott, who wasn't the main target of the criticism, felt like he was in another world, while Ramiro, who was the one Ramos was specifically targeting, was already feeling hopeless.

Uncle Caleb had not yet returned, but Michael and Emilia had already arrived at his house and were waiting for them with Aunt Flora.

Ramos dropped them off at home and then left in a hurry. Caleb wanted to follow Scott's suggestion to keep the news of the incident under wraps, and he had to help with that as well.

Ramiro and Scott were left to answer the elders' questions.

Michael and Emilia didn't seem too worried, only relieved to see Scott and Ramiro arrive home safely.

Aunt Flora rushed forward anxiously, ruthlessly bypassing Ramiro who was standing in front of Scott, and hugged Scott tightly.

"Oh God! Honey, I'm so glad you're alright!"

Then, she began to look Scott up and down, anxiously asking him if he was injured.

Scott could only let her look him over, insisting that he was fine.

“I’m fine, Aunt Flora.”

"Oh, my poor child, you must be terrified!"

Flora held Scott's hand and kept comforting him, as if she still thought of her nephew as a baby.

Scott was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm and could only look to Emilia for help.

But Emilia seemed more concerned about her son's "girlfriend," and after confirming that her son was really alright, she asked Benita about it.

She told Scott, "That girl must be terrified. You should comfort her."

Scott was helpless.

He wanted to tell his mother that not every girl grows up around her grandfather, a former gang leader, and can easily accept this kind of thing.

Michael seemed to have noticed something in Scott's expression and helped change the subject.

While Scott was talking to his parents, Flora began to criticize and lecture Ramiro.

Scott glanced sympathetically at Ramiro's pained expression, then whispered to Michael and Emilia, "The bandits are after the Reiss map, and there's a hidden mastermind behind them. We have to find that person."

Upon hearing his words, Michael and Emilia's expressions immediately turned serious.

Michael thought for a moment, and finally could only say helplessly, "There's nothing we Trolop family can do in Spain. We'll have to wait until your uncle comes back to discuss this."

Emilia nodded in agreement.

Scott told them that he had done it himself: "I used magic to alter the memories of those two kidnappers, so that they and the police would only think it was a routine kidnapping."

“That’s for the best.” Michael gave him an approving look. “We also don’t have to worry about more people finding out about the Reiss map.”

Scott then shared his thoughts: "The mastermind and the bandits have agreed on a signal: if the female bandit dyes her hair red, it means the operation has been successful. I think we can find someone to impersonate a robber to lure the mastermind."

"This……"

Emilia glanced at Michael, then said to Scott, "You can tell your uncle what you think."

Scott nodded.

At dinner, my cousin Adelina appeared and offered me more care and comfort.

Caleb and Ramos didn't get home until after 9 p.m.

"The news has been blocked; this won't make it into the newspapers or on television," Caleb announced as he entered.

Seeing that Caleb had actually accomplished such a thing, Scott gained a new understanding of the power Caleb possessed.

However, according to Caleb, this was also thanks to the fact that the park where the incident occurred was full of mazes and had few visitors, so there were no eyewitnesses.

Before leaving the Hills, Scott and Caleb had a private conversation.

“Since you said you were confident on the phone, then tell me your plan,” Caleb said directly to Scott.

Scott nodded, then described the events in detail and shared his thoughts.

"You can even do something like modifying memories?" Mr. Caleb looked at Scott with surprise.

Scott could only tell him that the Memory Charm wasn't a very advanced spell.

Of course, one premise he didn't mention was that using the Memory Charm on Muggles is much simpler than using it on wizards.

Caleb was only surprised for a moment before he began to talk about Scott's plan.

He nodded. "Impersonate those two bandits and lure the mastermind out according to their agreement? That's about what I was thinking. I'll arrange for someone to do it."

“Uncle, I think it would be best if I were involved in this as well,” Scott said. “We can’t rule out the possibility that the mastermind is a wizard.”

Scott was very enthusiastic about participating in this matter.

Although he always advocated avoiding trouble whenever possible in other matters, this was different.

This matter concerns the safety of his family, and Scott absolutely cannot avoid it.

Caleb glanced at him, but decisively shook his head and rejected his suggestion.

Scott added, "I can provide a potion that can completely transform a person into another person, a disguise that no one, including wizards, can detect."

"No, your involvement is not needed, nor is the potion."

Caleb said with absolute certainty.

"Although we can't be sure if a wizard like you was involved, we can't expose you, so let's not reveal any traces of magic for now."

Scott disagreed with this approach, saying, "If the other party is a wizard, it would be easy to find out that I am a wizard."

Caleb said in a deep voice, "That's just a British wizard."

Scott tried to persuade him further, but Caleb raised his hand to stop him.

"Don't think that wizards are superior, kid."

The middle-aged man's demeanor suddenly changed, and his face turned fierce.

"Who do you think I am? Ordinary people have ordinary ways of doing things. In short, I will make those guys pay a heavy price."

Chapter 251 Moving into a Country Manor

"How about this then..."

Scott thought for a moment and proposed a compromise.

"You can send someone over, but it's best for family members to stay together during this time and not leave alone until things are resolved."

Caleb and Scott looked at each other for a few seconds, then slowly nodded.

“Okay,” he said. “We’ll all go on vacation to the country estate my grandfather left us.”

Scott smiled with satisfaction. "That way we're completely safe. Even if we're outmatched, I can still lead everyone away."

Caleb smiled, a rare occurrence. "That won't happen."

He looked very confident.

Scott didn't say much about it.

As long as the safety of family members can be ensured, everything else can be put aside for the time being.

After discussing it, the uncle and nephew got to work.

Of course, it was Caleb who took action.

Scott's uncle was clearly a decisive man, and no one would argue with his decisions.

Ramos's wife and Adelina's husband arrived at the villa that night with their children.

Caleb quickly arranged for a car and people to protect them, and they left Madrid overnight.

At Scott's request, all the family members, including a team of bodyguards in security uniforms, sat together on a bus.

My cousin's five children were excitedly shouting and yelling the whole way, making the car exceptionally noisy.

Scott sat in the last row with his parents.

Emilia was fiddling with a pistol in her hand, occasionally aiming it out the window.

“I haven’t fired a gun in a long time.” She spoke of guns as if lamenting her lost youth.

Michael and Scott exchanged glances, neither responding to her words.

"Won't our departure alert the mastermind behind this?" Emilia asked again in a low voice.

Michael answered softly, "Galler claimed that this was to protect his family's safety before the kidnapping case was actually solved."

“That’s right,” Scott said. “The police are investigating a kidnapping for money.”

Emilia nodded.

Scott leaned closer and whispered to her, "Millie, where's that map? Is it safe?"

“Of course it’s safe. Nobody knows where it is except me.” Emilia smiled smugly.

She put the pistol back into its holster at her waist, then pinched Scott's cheek. "What is it, my dear son? You want to know?"

“No, Mom,” Scott answered honestly.

Emilia pinched the flesh on his cheek and gently turned it around. "Remember, that's a gift you can only receive after you come of age."

“Okay, Mom.” Scott rubbed his face with his hand.

After leaving Madrid, the bus headed north, passing through several small towns before entering the mountains.

When they arrived at their destination, the children who had been playing were already exhausted and asleep.

Five children: the older cousin and her husband, the older cousin and his wife (four children in total), plus Ramiro, each carrying one child as they got out of the car.

"This is the manor left by my grandfather."

Emilia spoke to Michael and Scott with a nostalgic tone.

“I spent my childhood here, and my grandfather, father and mother all passed away here.”

She looked somewhat sad when she talked about these things.

Michael took the opportunity to put his arm around her shoulder.

Scott's maternal grandparents both passed away earlier this year.

Fortunately, Emilia came to Spain and stayed with them during their final days.
