The Wind and the Wings of Hogwarts

Scott, meanwhile, was observing the surroundings of the estate.
"Millie, Mike, Scott, everyone hurry inside!"
But soon, they entered the manor at the invitation of Aunt Flora.
Soon, the dark and silent manor was brightly lit.
After settling the sleeping children, everyone gathered in the manor's hall.
“I believe everyone knows what happened.” Caleb looked at his family members seriously. “No one is allowed to leave the manor until the mastermind behind the kidnapping is caught.”
Flora also said, "That's right! And you guys too!"
She reminded the two young couples, "Remember to keep a close eye on your children!"
Caleb then assigned tasks to the bodyguard team, and after that, everyone returned to their rooms.
After taking a shower and changing into his pajamas, Scott didn't go straight to sleep. Instead, he took his wand and went upstairs to the attic.
But when he pushed open the attic door, Caleb's voice came from inside, "What are you doing up here, kid?"
A red light flickered in the dark attic, and he seemed to be smoking by the attic window.
"Uncle?" Scott was also somewhat surprised.
With a snap, the lights came on, revealing the attic's layout to him.
This is an attic room set up as an art studio.
The walls were covered with all kinds of oil paintings, big and small, and the floor was piled high with flower stands and art supplies.
However, all of this looks very old.
Scott found himself admiring the paintings on the wall, eventually stopping in front of a portrait.
This is a family portrait.
Scott saw Emilia as a child, Caleb as a young man, his maternal grandparents whom he had never met, and his great-grandfather.
“I heard from Emilia that you also like oil paintings?” Caleb stubbed out his cigarette and walked over to Scott.
Scott nodded. "It's been my hobby since I was a child."
“You can use this studio while you’re here,” Caleb said. “I’ll have the purchasing agent bring in new art supplies tomorrow.”
Scott glanced at him, then at the signature on the painting, and asked with some surprise, "Was this studio ever yours?"
Caleb smiled and reached out to touch the canvas in front of him. "When I was young, I wanted to be a painter, but I haven't picked up a paintbrush for decades."
His few words seemed to contain a story that was not pleasant.
Scott opened his mouth, then finally said, "You can also keep painting as a hobby."
“No.” Caleb lowered his hand and turned to leave without hesitation. “When it’s time to give up, you have to be thorough.”
He simply opened the attic door.
"Whatever you're doing, hurry up and go to bed early."
After saying that, he left immediately.
Scott watched his figure disappear into the darkness and couldn't help but sigh, thinking that his uncle was quite a ruthless person.
He walked to the door and reached out to close it.
Then he raised his wand.
First, he cast a silencing spell in the attic, then waved his wand again.
"Flocks of birds".
Splashing... Fluttering...
The sounds of countless wings flapping and harsh chirping mingled together.
Scott's vision was completely dark.
The crows soon filled the attic.
"Quiet."
Scott said loudly.
The crows immediately quieted down and turned to look at him.
"You will stay near this manor for the next few days and keep watch. If any suspicious persons appear, notify me."
The crows all nodded in a human-like manner.
"very good."
Scott smiled and opened the attic window.
"You may leave."
The crows immediately took flight, flying out of the window in flocks and scattering in all directions.
Scott watched the streaks of black shadow streak across the night sky and couldn't help but smile.
A flock of crows trained by Rimbaud is truly effective.
Chapter 252 Hill and Spot
In the morning, after getting up, Scott took a breath of fresh air on the second-floor balcony.
He sat in the chair, listening to bursts of laughter coming from afar.
Ramiro was playing football with some children on the lawn in front of the estate.
Scott watched with a smile for a while, and then Emilia came over and placed the breakfast she had brought on the table.
"Thank you, Mom," Scott said quickly.
Then, while eating breakfast, he asked, "Has everything been arranged for my uncle?"
Emilia sat down in another chair and gave him a disapproving look.
She said irritably, "Don't worry about it, my dear son. Your uncle has much more experience with this kind of thing than you do."
Scott thought about it and agreed.
He knew that, given the current situation, it was enough for him to stay here and protect his family.
Being in a foreign country, he couldn't do anything for the time being, let alone recklessly run away.
Waiting here patiently while remaining vigilant was the only thing he could do at that moment.
The first day of "vacation" at this manor passed peacefully.
Caleb didn't reveal any new information until evening.
This means that the people he sent out did not lure the mastermind behind the scenes.
Two more days passed.
In the past two days, the people Caleb sent out have continued to wander around, and have not been approached by the mastermind behind the scenes.
During these two days, Scott spent leisurely doing his summer homework and making a phone call every day to Roger in London to inquire about the progress of the retrial of the Black case.
Unfortunately, the British Ministry of Magic seems to be still slow to act and has not announced any new developments to the public.
It wasn't until the evening of the fourth day after Scott and his group arrived at the manor that Caleb finally received the phone call they had been waiting for.
Scott was talking to his uncle at the time and happened to overhear some of it.
During their time at the manor, Ramiro became the leader of the children, while Ramos was constantly busy with his own work on the phone. Scott and Caleb, on the other hand, spent more time together.
Scott initially only noticed that Caleb's expression was cold after he answered the phone.
He said in a flat tone, "It's finally here."
Scott immediately perked up when he heard this.
A few seconds later, Caleb gave another faint smile.
“Well done, Jaime,” he said approvingly.
It seemed like someone else said something on the other end of the phone.
Scott caught another fleeting glimpse of the fierce look on Caleb's face.
He instructed the person on the other end of the phone, "Give that gentleman a good welcome. I need to know the whole story."
After saying that, he hung up the phone.
Scott asked curiously, "Uncle, is there only one person behind this?"
Caleb said, "It's not clear yet, but only one of the two who were disguised as bandits came into contact with us. Don't worry, no matter how many people there are, Jaime will help us find out."
Upon hearing the name Jaime again, Scott couldn't help but ask in surprise, "Jaime... is that the driver from that day?"
Caleb nodded affirmatively. "Jamie is a reliable guy, so I sent him to protect your date. It's a pity he was careless that day."
“I asked Jaime to wait for us in the car,” Scott said, trying to cover for Jaime.
However, he could also tell that Hai Mei was probably his uncle's right-hand woman.
The fact that Caleb could send such an important person to protect Scott shows how well he treats his nephew Scott.
The uncle and nephew chatted for a while, and then Caleb's phone rang again.
Caleb looked surprised as he listened to Jaime's report over the phone.
“So it’s the Spot.” His tone was no longer calm, and he sneered, “You know what to do. It’s a tradition for the Spot family to lose to the Hill family.”
Spot?
Could he be a descendant of Jack Spot, the man who once vied with his great-grandfather Billy Hill for power in the London underworld?
Scott's eyes lit up, filled with curiosity.
After Caleb hung up the phone again, Scott asked the question.
“That’s right, it’s that Spotted Jack Spotted.” Caleb sneered again. “Back then, Spotted Jack Spotted was eventually kicked out of London by my grandfather.”
Scott then asked, "How did this Mr. Spot know that the original Reiss map was eventually taken away by his great-grandfather?"
