"Haha, we're in for a treat today."
A middle-aged man with a scar on his face got out of the car. "Call those pig-headed men out. New piglets have arrived."
"Hanken, come out with me right now and hand over the goods."
"Alright!" Hanken replied cheerfully, as it was a rare opportunity to go out for a stroll.
The pig-headed people in the factory gathered in the open space under the supervision of the overseers. Morrison looked them over one by one and selected suitable goods.
"This one, the one next to me, the last one in the second row."
As Morrison shouted, many large, seemingly robust pig-headed men were picked out.
After discarding most of the pig-headed men he found acceptable, Morrison pointed out three more, including Toka.
“The three of them will stay at the factory. The ones I picked out at the beginning will be put on the truck and delivered immediately, and the rest will be handled according to the old rules.”
At Morrison's command, the overseers sprang into action.
Section 107, Chapter 106: He's stronger than him!
"Thanks for your hard work, boss!"
After a busy afternoon, Håkan and Morrison returned to the factory, where someone promptly brought them water.
"Is there anything wrong at the factory?"
"everything is normal."
“Take good care of the new pig-headed people. They need to be able to work within three days. The boss has set a high target for them this month.”
After giving some instructions, Morrison sat down to catch his breath.
The man drank the water in the glass in one gulp, and a look of exhaustion appeared on his face.
Håkan looked at Morrison with admiration; he had always thought his boss was very capable.
Even without Morrison's efforts to find them some extra income, the foremen... would still have to grit their teeth and keep working, given the wages paid by that stingy boss.
"Damn it, they've raised the quotas again? That vampire doesn't want to give the brothers a way to survive!" one of the foremen finally couldn't hold back and cursed.
"The boss has been turning a blind eye to some of our little tricks."
Morrison remained silent for a moment before offering his advice.
"Hey, the key is that we feel sorry for you, boss!" someone else said.
"Selling experienced pig-headed laborers at high prices and buying newly born piglets at low prices. After a period of training, they sell high and buy low again, all while having to meet the boss's unreasonable targets. Can an ordinary person really do all that?"
"Boss Morrison, with your abilities, it's really a waste of your talent to work in this processing plant!"
"That's right, I think the boss is trying to suppress you."
“We clearly didn’t do anything to harm his interests, but he keeps raising the targets, and he deducts our wages if we don’t meet them. He has no conscience at all.”
"Boss, why don't you go out and start your own business? We'll all follow you!"
Morrison sat there blankly. He was unwilling to accept it, but alas, there was really nothing he could do.
Despite their loud rhetoric, few of them would dare to leave and work independently with him.
The foremen here all have serious criminal records; there are practically no other options.
If going it alone fails, none of us will survive.
Moreover, it is extremely difficult to create one's own niche in the world.
Morrison had nothing but violence before he started working for his boss.
Later, seeing that everyone in the factory was struggling to make ends meet, he racked his brains to find ways to earn money.
If he really wanted to go out and make a living, Morrison couldn't think of any other way besides returning to his old profession.
As for making money by opening a black factory like this... forget it, the waters here are too deep, you could easily drown.
"The boss is pretty good. Although he paid less, he still gave us a chance."
Seeing the heavy atmosphere, Morrison laughed and scolded, "Stop complaining about being poor. You earn so much extra money, and you only have a little bit of your wages deducted. How dare you complain?"
"Isn't that just because you feel frustrated?" one of the supervisors muttered.
"If you're feeling frustrated, let those pig-headed bastards work themselves to death. If they give it their all, we can still meet this month's targets."
Morrison waved his hand to stop the topic, "Where's Toka? Don't make him work, get him out here to cook for everyone."
"Toka, come here quickly!"
"Let's eat, let's not think about those worries anymore."
"Boss, you didn't buy any pork, did you? Working in this awful place every day, I feel like throwing up whenever I see pork."
"Lock the pigpen door first, just in case we get drunk and cause any trouble later. Hey, boss, you didn't forget the alcohol, did you?"
Everyone chimed in, and the atmosphere gradually became lively.
Someone set the table, and Hanken brought peanuts and beer. The atmosphere reached its peak when Toka brought out the cooked dishes.
"delicious!"
"Toka, it's a pity you're a pig-headed man, otherwise you would definitely have reached the pinnacle of life as a cook!"
"This stewed meat is simply superb."
Morrison took a sip of the soup, which was just ordinary cabbage and tofu soup, but it tasted incredibly delicious.
'When I used to go to hotels with my boss, the chefs there weren't as skilled as Toca.' Thinking this, Morrison was glad he had discovered Toca's talent back then.
Otherwise, they would just be sitting around the table eating junk food they bought, without any enjoyment like this.
"Toka, you're a genius! It's worth it that we didn't sell you!"
After a few drinks, someone blushed and patted the pig-headed man on the shoulder.
"I'll fight anyone who dares to sell Toka!"
"Haha, keep going, Toka, don't just stand there like an idiot."
"Eat, eat, eat!"
"..."
There's always a day each month when the factory is filled with laughter and joy, and Toka always envies these humans at that time.
'Looks so happy'
The pig-headed man glanced at them silently and went back to cooking.
After a few rounds of drinks, the overseers collapsed to the ground in twos and threes, while Morrison still seemed somewhat sober.
Seeing Toka come over to clean up the mess, he pointed to the leftovers on the table and said, "Take what you can't finish."
The pig-headed man didn't react, but Morrison knew he would understand.
Unlike other overseers who thought Toka was unintelligent, Morrison always thought the pig-headed man was quite clever.
Come to think of it, how could a pig-headed person who can cook such delicious food not be a little smart?
Morrison took a drag of his cigarette. "Keep a good job, Toka. We've known each other for four or five years now."
Seeing the pig-headed man standing there dumbfounded, Morrison continued, "When the next batch of piglets arrives, I'll make you their leader."
"Haha, you'd better train them well then. Hmm, I can't let you work for nothing, paying you won't help."
"How about this, starting next month you won't have to work so late every day, you can rest at 7 pm sharp."
"If you can't sleep, you can walk around the factory, but you're not allowed to go out."
The pig-headed man paused, and for the first time, he looked at Morrison with an emotional gaze.
Honestly, this human is really good to himself.
While the other pig-headed people slept in pigsties, he had a small room.
Whether the other pig-headed men can sleep depends entirely on the mood of the overseers, but he only needs to work until ten o'clock.
Morrison would also give him the leftovers from their meals...
Toka moved his lips, but forced himself not to speak.
"Isn't it strange that I've treated you fairly well?"
"Haha, we've known each other for so many years, there must be some feelings between us."
"Well, that's not the point."
Morrison opened a can of beer and downed it in one gulp. "Awesome!"
"I've always believed that capable people deserve better treatment. It's a shame my boss is so blind to not want to give me a chance."
"Haha, I'll tell you a secret." Morrison was also a little out of control after finishing his drink.
"That guy is just much, much better off than me in terms of natural advantages. In fact, I've never thought much of him."
"With such good conditions, he only focuses on a few illegal processing plants. Do you think he's a waste?"
"If I were in his position..."
As he spoke, Morrison's words became indistinct, "If it were me, given the chance, I definitely would..."
"Better than him, better than him."
"huh, huh"
Section 108, Chapter 107: The World Is So Big
Outside the factory, Catwoman anxiously looked around.
She searched the nearby forest for the past two days but couldn't find Bubble. She couldn't help but think of a possibility she had overlooked.
'Could it be that the bubbles didn't run outside that day, but instead ran into the factory?'
