Hogwarts: Me? Fight Voldemort?

He reached into his pocket and took out Tom's notebook.
"100 Galleons, that's not expensive."
Dumbledore took the notebook and examined it carefully. Then, he had a look of sudden realization on his face. "This is a dangerous thing. I suggest you give it to me for safekeeping."
“This is a commodity. Once you’ve paid, you can do whatever you want with it.” Jimmy was still reaching out to Dumbledore. Without Tom’s reward, he would have to ask Dumbledore for it.
This old man who likes to act crazy isn't really unable to come up with money. Even if he's really in trouble, he can still embezzle public funds from the school, right?
"Ah, but I don't have Galleons. The headmaster of Hogwarts doesn't get a salary. The compensation I gave you last time was paid through the official account." Dumbledore put on a distressed expression, trying to plead for him.
“Then let’s use the company’s accounts!” Jimmy said matter-of-factly.
Oh... what utter greed!
Dumbledore sighed inwardly. He felt it necessary to guide Jimmy's mindset in a positive direction and make him understand that Galleons were not everything, and that there were many other things in the world worth pursuing.
For example, friendship, love... even knowledge is much more respectable than pursuing Galon.
Dumbledore raised his hand, and a brown leather notebook flew into his hands from the bookshelf. He held Tom Riddle's notebook in one hand and the brown notebook in the other.
The gaze behind the half-moon glasses looked directly into Jimmy's eyes, and like an old man by a lake, he introduced, "I have a better suggestion. These are some insights I've gained from my research in alchemy. Do you want this brown notebook or this black notebook?"
Without a second thought, Jimmy snatched the brown notebook, much to Dumbledore's surprise.
Seemingly afraid he might change his mind, Jimmy immediately stood up and ran outside after getting the notebook. "The matter is resolved. I should go back to sleep now. Goodnight, Professor Dumbledore!"
……
After leaving the office, Jimmy was still feeling fortunate about the deal. He thought that getting 100 Galleons would be the best outcome, but he didn't expect Old Deng to be so generous!
This isn't a notebook, it's clearly a production tool!
With this notebook recording Dumbledore's alchemical research, he could directly copy the Deluminator and sell it at the Raccoon Alchemy Workshop. Dumbledore certainly wouldn't mind his dear student using his patent.
The notebook must contain many unique alchemical products that Dumbledore made in his youth. Pick a few at random, promote them under Dumbledore's name, and put them in the Raccoon Alchemy Workshop. Then the Raccoon Alchemy Workshop will no longer be a snack shop where people drink tea and play cards, but a proper alchemy workshop!
With means of production, even 100 Galleons seems a bit stingy.
Jimmy excitedly opened his notebook and, sure enough, found a wealth of ideas and methods for improving alchemy.
Back at the entrance to the Gryffindor common room, he found the recipe for the Deluminator in his notebook. Although its function was very simple, the Deluminator used a very advanced form of alchemy.
After all, drawing light into a container and then releasing it back with a gentle press is thousands of times more difficult than making a light bulb with a light-up spell.
Putting away his notebook, Jimmy spoke the command to the portrait of the fat lady: "Honey Eater."
The common room was quite crowded. They surrounded Harry and Ron, listening to Ron boast about what it was like to drive a flying car.
On a single sofa in the corner of the lounge, Hermione kept her brow furrowed as she stared at the smug Ron.
Upon seeing Jimmy return, she said with displeasure, "Ron treats this like some kind of amazing thing. I mean, it's absolutely awful!"
"You should get used to them being like this." Jimmy wanted to find a seat, but there were no seats available, so he had to stand.
Hermione always empathizes with others, making things difficult for herself. When her friends do something wrong, she always feels inexplicably responsible for it, unless she was involved in the matter.
"Forget it, what did you say to Professor Dumbledore?"
Jimmy waved the notebook in his hand excitedly and said, "I traded a notebook for this. It contains Dumbledore's research on alchemy when he was young."
"I bet there's a lot of knowledge up there... I'm going back to rest now, goodnight!"
Hermione is interested in a lot of knowledge, but she has little interest in alchemy.
She had previously tried to learn alchemy from Jimmy, but it wasn't successful; she didn't have the talent for it.
Jimmy waved to Hermione and said, "You too, sweet dreams."
He walked back to his dormitory, still holding his notebook and reading. The knowledge in this notebook was constantly increasing his experience.
After returning to his dorm and washing up, Jimmy lay on his bed with his eyes closed, flipping through the Golden Book of the Soul. He saw his own level.
Charmsology: 29
Potions: 14
Transfiguration: 18
Alchemy: 10
Seeing the overwhelmingly superior Charms skill level, Jimmy recalled that humiliating day when the damned Voldemort ambushed him, causing him to waste hundreds of Galleons in virtual currency.
The spellcasting skill level in the wizarding world varies greatly. Even the majority of Aurors, who are enforcers of the British Ministry of Magic, have not yet mastered the Ironclad Charm. A level 29 spellcaster already surpasses more than 50% of adult wizards.
However, spending those Galonons wasn't a complete loss; at least the knowledge and power were credited to my account, which is better than nothing.
Jimmy casually added 23 Galleons to his Potions skill level, raising it by 1 level.
The feeling of improving both my knowledge level and my talent for potion making is truly delightful. It seems that only by spending money can I get a good experience!
Entering the potion market is imperative!

Chapter 112 A Complete Mismatch
The next day, Jimmy, not forgetting to get back to a healthy lifestyle, got up early in the morning to exercise by the Black Lake.
Jimmy was somewhat surprised to see an acquaintance as soon as he arrived at the Black Lake.
Luna, dressed in her school uniform robe, squatted on the pebble beach, gently stroking the giant squid tentacles protruding from the lake with her pale hand.
"Luna? You're up this early too?"
“Good morning, Jimmy Blaine.” Luna turned around and saw Jimmy, smiling as she said, “I’d like to see Hogwarts this morning; there are lots of new friends here.”
Jimmy jogged over to Luna's side, stretching his body as he said, "This place is pretty nice. There's no one here in the morning. I come here to exercise almost every morning."
“Hmm…not a bad lifestyle, just rather rare.” Luna released her grip, watching the enormous tentacle sink back into the black lake. “Everything here is fascinating to me; I want to observe this place more closely.”
"Not everything at school is good. If you need anything, you can come to me. I'm going for a run along Black Lake."
"See you later, I'm going to check out other places too." Luna waved to him.
By the time Jimmy returned from his run, Luna had already disappeared by the Black Lake.
After returning to my dorm and washing up, I sat in the dining hall (auditorium) waiting for dinner, looking at the books I had borrowed from Neville's house. My first day back at school was so simple and unpretentious.
Breakfast was served, and halfway through the meal, Hermione, Harry, and Ron arrived.
Because the dean of the college will distribute the class schedules to the students on the first day, everyone is required to be present on the morning of the first day, unless they don't want the class schedule anymore.
Before Professor McGonagall arrived with her schedule, Ron's old owl, Errol, showed up first with a red letter.
"Errol!"
The old owl, which could barely fly, plunged straight into the milk jug and was pulled out by Ron with a scream.
The owl that fell into the milk jug obviously needed some time to recover. Its feathers were covered in milk, and it lay blankly on the table, a red letter in its beak.
Neville glanced at the color of the letter and immediately warned, "Ron! That's a howling letter! You'd better open it quickly, or else..."
Before he could finish speaking, a terrified Ron had already opened the letter.
Hermione was still looking in that direction curiously when suddenly a pair of hands covered her ears, which were hidden under her fluffy long hair.
She tilted her head slightly and saw that it was Jimmy covering her ears. She thought it was a prank, but the huge roar coming from the side made Hermione understand his intention.
"You stole the car!!! I wouldn't be surprised if they fired you, just wait and see how I deal with you! You haven't even considered how your father and I felt when we found the car was gone..."
The roar was so loud, it was like thunderclaps exploding in the auditorium.
Ron and Harry were like standing in a storm, shrinking further and further under the table as Mrs. Weasley's scolding grew louder, until only their red foreheads were visible.
A tremendous roar echoed throughout the Great Hall, and all eyes were drawn to Ron, who looked pained. Harry, sitting next to Ron, seemed to have become one of the onlookers as well, feeling so ashamed and embarrassed that he wished he could hide under the table.
"...This is outrageous! Your father will be investigated at work, and it's all your fault. If you don't behave, we'll bring you back right now!"
Not long after the shouting stopped, a burst of laughter that seemed to lift the roof off took over the noise again.
Harry and Ron blushed even more, and even Ginny, who had nothing to do with them, buried her head in her plate in shame. Only George and Fred laughed unrestrainedly.
"Hahaha!" Jimmy released Hermione's ear and laughed too; this was hilarious.
Hermione pursed her lips; she also wanted to laugh, and felt a great sense of satisfaction.
But she didn't laugh, because she was kind.
At this point, Professor McGonagall took out the timetables and began distributing them from the other end of the long table. The first class for the second-year Gryffindor wizards was Herbalism, which was right after breakfast.
After breakfast, they headed to the greenhouse.
This time, they were going to enter the third greenhouse, which was full of dangerous plants, not the first greenhouse. Rumors were circulating that every year, students would be injured in the third greenhouse and sent to the school clinic.
This made the Gryffindor and Hufflepuff students, who were visiting the Third Greenhouse for the first time, somewhat apprehensive. They all waited for Professor Sprout outside the door.
After a while, they saw Professor Sprout stride across the lawn, accompanied by Lockhart, who was wearing a turquoise robe and a silly green top hat with gold trim.
Tsk!
Jimmy felt uncomfortable just looking at Lockhart; even the grass at his feet was more pleasing to the eye than that showy guy.
The sound of Professor Sprout and Lockhart talking gradually reached his ears, making him look over in surprise.
"Thank you so much this time, Professor Lockhart. I didn't know you knew so much!"
"I just happened to see this strange plant during my travels and knew about the treatment."
Professor Sprout showed no disgust at Lockhart's persistent pursuit, and Lockhart, in turn, was beaming with delight.
Approaching the young wizards, Lockhart called out to them, "Oh! Hello! I just demonstrated to Professor Sprout how to heal the Whomping Willow! But I don't want you to think I'm better at herbalism than she is!"
Professor Sprout looked at Lockhart with admiration. "Oh, you're too modest, Professor Lockhart. In fact, Professor Lockhart healed the Whomping Willow with just one spell. Thanks to Professor Lockhart, my workload has been greatly reduced."
As she spoke, her gaze shifted to Harry and Ron in the crowd, neither of them daring to look up.
The Hufflepuff and Gryffindor witches all let out a series of infatuated screams.
Jimmy stared at Lockhart, who was grinning foolishly, his eyes widening slightly.
Lockhart? The Willow that cures beating people?
